First time using Midway Towing. Eduardo arrived within 30 minutes. He made me aware of any existing damage before he started the tow. He assisted me in pushing the sedan out onto the alley, then towed it onto a flatbed. Stellar operation. Mario was my driver and was more than accommodating. This car is a family treasure of sorts and not only did he appreciate the vehicle, he treated it with respect. It had been sitting in the garage for 10 years we estimate. He assisted me with pushing it out, carefully loaded it and strapped it down with the correct straps considering this is an older vehicle. He was right on time and the whole move went off without any issues. He even unloaded it onto my driveway which saved me from alot of pushing. He was very kind and did wear a mask. I'm glad I made the choice I did as this was one of those things i had really been concerned with. This morning, on my way to work, the brakes in my truck went out. After safely getting it to Chinatown my stress level began to rise with thoughts of how I was going to get it safely back home after work. I live in Homewood 45 minutes away and I was going to need a tow at the end of the day. Well I was much relieved to find this company Midway Towing here on Yelp. First they responded to my inquiry right away and let me know they were there for me. I set a time of 5pm to meet for the tow and their truck was there 15 min early. Next I met one of the most polite and reassuring individuals I have spoken with in a long time. His name is Edward and he let me know my truck would be ok. He had it loaded in minutes and we were on the way home. On the way he was pleasent to talk to and was careful in traffic, especially considering it was rush hour. He put my truck safely in the driveway, provided a receipt, and thanked me for the business. He even thanked me for my service in the Air Force. I was involved in a car accident in downtown Chicago; I live in southeastern Wisconsin. I called roadside assistance, and they contacted 2 towing companies to tow me from Chicago, 147 miles north, to my home dealership. Neither showed up. They then contacted Midway One Towing and Recovery. They agreed to tow my car. When the owner arrived, I was immediately put me at ease. The accident was not a good experience, and I was very concerned about getting home with my car. The owner towed my car, and me, home to my dealership. He was so professional and extremely nice. We had a great conversation! What started as a horrible day turned out to be awesome! I am so grateful to Midway! Being a single female, alone in a big city, can be rather upsetting.
