This place has 2 advertised heated pools (the outdoor one was not heated), a sauna, a steam room, whirlpool and workout room. The beach is easily accessed with a walk down a long boardwalk. The beach is viewed easily but can not really be heard from the condo. The set up of the room is spot on! Has everything that you would need. These are lovely condos compared to everything else. There's never anyone in the hall. The person that said it was crowded. It's so not crowded. Several people actually live here. There's always parking. There is an elevator for handicap and elevator to take you to your room if you don't wanna climb stairs, the boardwalk is very safe and nice. I love the big decks. That's why I always stay here. The balconies are fantastic for drinking coffee playing cards on the table and chairs. There's always a sitting area on a table and chair area And in the corner there's a sitting area around the corner for the price. They are fantastic. The one we just stayed in 70 one had new furniture a person with us needed a recliner. Everything reclined and I love it was brand new. The kitchen is laid out so well I love the Jacuzzi tub that cleans itself after every bath and they're like that in every room Every condo you won't find a better place to say across the street is the pizza place the wonderful wine bar with French wine across the street down the road is the islander and I mean barely down the road. At 859 AM there were no more grits, eggs, and sausage and she said that she wasn't making any more because breakfast was too close to being over. Mind you that breakfast ends at 1000. 12 people came after I sat down and they had even less to eat. I am not asking that Hampton Inn Jackson waste money with having to throw away food, but at least serve until 15-30 minutes prior to the posted closing time. Love the way the room was staged. The Christmas decorations throughout the hotel were beautiful and tasteful. As we drive away, I wish we had taken photos to share. Breakfast was well presented, as full as I have ever seen at a Hampton Inn. The dining area was tidy, and everything I had was the right temperature. There were plenty of other guests, but the Breakfast attendant was doing a wonderful job. Portia, the front desk manager, was friendly, professional, and seemed to truly enjoy speaking with me and others in line. A smile goes a long way. When I bragged on the lovely Christmas decor, Portia let me know that she had decorated the hotel on her own. What a treasure! I had reserved a King room about a month ago. I checked my IHG app when I was 30 minutes away to…read morefind it had been changed to a single queen room. I called the hotel to be told they had overbooked the hotel and had to move people around and they couldn't help me. Through the IHG app I contacted customer service and they verified they could see on the hotels computer system I had booked a king room and they would contact the hotel directly to correct the matter. Upon arrival I checked in to find out they had not talked IHG customer service and said they had not king room for me. I told them I was calling customer service back and then the clerk mysteriously found me a room. The hotels website stated it offered a free breakfast, but upon arrival we were told they weren't honoring that anymore and it would be $14.95 each. Upon entering the room I noticed holes in the carpet, the room smelled musty, and the surface of the tub was peeling off in large pieces. When I went to shower at 10:30 pm there was no hot water. I phoned the desk 3 times and no one answered, a voice mail would eventually pick up saying it was full and not receiving messages. I went down to the desk and was told, "it (the hot water) worked fine last week, no one else has complained." I was then told the hotel was full land she couldn't do anything about it. I asked if there was anywhere else in the hotel I could possibly shower and was told no. I stated I didn't think I should have to pay for a hotel room that didn't have hot water and was told I could check out if I wanted. (At this point it's 11 pm!) I said that wasn't a realist option and she said she would give me 10,000 points (which I have yet to receive.) No one ever came and checked on the hot water. The next night we had slightly warm water probably because it was hot outside. I do have to say the cleaning staff was very nice and polite and the mattress was comfortable.

She thoroughly scrutinized them, then asked me to verbally clarify a couple of points about my address. Then asked for my phone number! There was a gentleman hanging out at the desk that had been chatting with her when I arrived who stood by and listened to the whole exchange. It was upsetting. I am a solo female traveller. I hope they do some training with this young woman.
