This is my third visit. The first one they ran unnecessary tests and then wanted me to come back for the results. The results appeared in my chart clearly I was not coming back for a negative result so they could charge me another co-pay. Other visit was fine. Today I've been here for three hours. Three hours!!! They need to tell you it's going to take this long. You ask how long is it once you've been in the room for an hour and a half and they can't answer it. This is one of the most welcoming, capable and just overall joyful staff the office is extremely clean and well decorated. The front desk staff are extremely knowledgeable and answer questions with accuracy and kindness . The doctors are so kind I had my nexplanon removed by Laura she was friendly , informative and helpful the procedure took less than 30 minutes I was in out in a hour 10/10 definitely recommend coming here if you need urgent care! read more

I think customer service is most important. Midwest Staff does a fine job of treating you well. My nurse was great. She was friendly and informative. Wait times really are hard to critique. I've waited at my own doctor for way longer than this place. People seem to think it's an in and out type thing but that is just not possible. Place is clean and smells clean which is helpful. Poor coordination between Billing Department and facility centers. Interactions with staff are positive. However, facility centers expect the patient to resolve billing issues with Billing Department. Service fees for cash paying patients are communicated by facility center staff and not Billing Department personnel. Billing staff may benefit from additional customer service career development. read more

AWFUL! AWFUL! They have an F rating on better business Bureau!!!! Unacceptable patient care!!!! Beware, they charged my partner for service that never happened! We both went in for B-12 shots in April. I called to tell them they were billing for an appointment that never happened. I was was told they coded incorrectly and it was addressed. It was never addressed and I got a bill from a creditor for 46+fees. A B-12 shot is 10-20 dollars here (I've gotten many here). This is poor customer service, poor billing, and poor patient care. I called to address this issue for the 4+ time and told I'd get a call on Wednesday with resolution. No call so I'd imagine no resolution. Save yourself time, money and stress and go to advocate for urgent care. Update: 12/4/2022. I called and was told a manager would call to address this issue. NO ONE has called back. I wrote a complaint to BBB. I should not have to escalate things that happened due to error in Midwest. I called billing and told the billing issue was resolved but I'm still getting a bill from the crediting agency, Midwest should call ME back and fix this issue. Went in for a COVID test after having mild allergy like symptoms (runny nose, slight cough, etc). Trying to do the "right thing" to make sure I'm not a risk to myself or others. The nurse who did the test was fantastic. Just as nice as could be, visit was quick, prescheduled an appointment, no issues there. It's 8 days since and I was told it could take up to 16 days! Yes, 16. What is the point of getting a test done, other than for the clinic to make money? That is a serious question. Why? If someone could come up with a logical answer perhaps I'd feel differently. Honestly what is the point? By the time I get results back I'm no longer sick/ contagious if I even had COVID at all. This whole situation is a joke. Right now on my Facebook I have tons of advertisements for this place popping up for COVID testing. Perhaps you folks should also include in the ad that you just want to profit from testing and won't actually produce results in a meaningful timeframe. I don't care about the standard answer "oUr LaBs ArE BaCkeD Up" not my problem! Change your advertising to be TRANSPARENT that you can not do business with a competent lab who can turn around results quickly. Don't waste your time, or your money. If you really want to know if you had COVID wait the 14 days then go donate blood. They do antibody testing on blood donations and you will at least be doing something good for others. Excellent from the walk from the door to the walk out. I don't even know how long I waited but this place is clean and the staff is polite actually greet you and speak to you. The doctors and nurses were friendly, professional and brilliant. The efficiency on handling patients and transitioning was first class. I came for a blood and urine check up and they allegedly "lost" or "don't have" or "can't see" my results. Kinda sketchy if you ask me where did my blood sample go? Called yesterday to see if they have an X-ray machine to which the X-ray tech said yes. Went in and waited 45 mins to learn there was a problem with the X-ray table. Things happen. I get it. So they gave me an order for a facility they are affiliated with. Got the X-ray. X-ray facility has faxed them multiple times. Midwest express hasn't received them. This is where I got the unpaid job. Neither place will call each other. Both pointing fingers. 24 hours later no results. Maybe I have a broken foot. Maybe not. Nobody cares. I thought express meant fast. I doubt I'll ever know unless I repeat this cycle. Glad I pay 2k a month for insurance. Stay away if you want results or express. read more

I have no idea how this clinic has such poor reviews. I have had 3 experiences with this clinic now and all have been fantastic. My wait time was short, the MA's were so kind and personable, and the NP (I think her name is Laura) is AMAZING. She really listened, cared, and was so easy to talk to. I will continue to use this as my primary urgent care and refer people as well. In the midst of a pandemic, it's so nice to have providers show up with positivity despite everything that are on their shoulders. Great job! read more

Do not use this clinic. I made an online appointment for a Covid test. I went through the entire process including uploading my drivers license and insurance card. They text me a reminder a half hour prior to my appointment. I call when i get there and the girl tells me to stay in my car. She calls me 10 mins later to tell me they no longer take my insurance and it will be a $200 charge. I ask why they didn't call me yesterday since they had me upload my insurance card and she told me "oh we don't look at that". What??? read more

Recently I got in the mail a bill from them charging and office visit and when I called the receptionist tells me the charge is for the video call they did to give me the results, which the could have texted or emailed. The charged a while office visit for a free video call to tell me something they could have texted, emailed, mailed or even just told me over the phone. With appointment wait time is at least 20 minutes, called two times two get test results still have not received them, but they had my husbands and we tested same time. I kept on calling the clinic and with attitude the receptionist would tell me that when they have it ready they will call me. It has been ready since MAY 9th and they did not call me! Went to this facility last year and though I waited a long time for my appointment and covid results despite them saying mine would be rushed due to underlying conditions and pregnancy. I thought I'd give them another shot since last year was so crazy. Scheduled online for a covid test today only to wait in my car for 2.5 hours. Each time I called to check status they said they were just waiting on rooms. The second time I called they said it would probably be 30 minutes with 5 people ahead of me. Well 55 minutes later I left never having been seen. Their response when I called to cancel my "appointment" was they were still waiting on rooms. I understand being busy, but maybe think about a better system for scheduling patients. read more

Not only has it been 13 days and counting for covid result test (was told 5-7 at the most) they charged 600$ to the WRONG insurance for a supposed covered covid test. Unfortunately, cannot recommend this clinic. My husband and I both went to get tested for COVID19. We were asked to make an appointment, which we did, but still had to wait 60mins past our appointment time. Then, we were charged our copay for the COVID19 test which was 100% covered by our insurance. We spoke with our insurance and they confirmed we should not have been charged our copay. We now have spent over 5 hours of time trying to be reimbursed from Midwest Express Clinic, and they refuse to reimburse us. They keep saying we need to set up a call to discuss this with our insurance. Highly disappointing and would not recommend them. read more

Where do I start I tried to make an appointment here and I gave the receptionist my insurance card filled out all the paperwork only for her to tell me that I have no urgent care insurance. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and on the insurance card it lists an office visit co-pay specialist co-pay and urgent care co-pay. So how can you tell me there's no urgent care coverage. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield to confirm that I do have urgent care coverage and the representative told me that I do. Do not go here for COVID testing. I am 12 days in waiting for my results which I find ridiculous. I could've saved my time and money and just quarantined according to CDC guidelines. I am a NP for a hospital and have worked on the team that made phone calls to patients with COVID results. Our turnaround time was 1-2 days. Yes, I should've just been tested at my hospital, but this clinic was demographically much more convenient (and I have a newborn baby which makes traveling difficult). I am extremely disappointed at all this. I have called the clinic several times, which they aren't helpful...they just state "well the results can take up to 16 days". I have also asked for Quest (lab) phone number, which it is impossible to get ahold of a human being and have also made several requests through the Quest app and email for my results with no success. Overall, this process is completely frustrating, so save your energy and go get tested somewhere more efficient! read more

I'd give it zero if I could. I got a COVID test since I'm a nurse working on a COVID unit and I was having respiratory symptoms. I tried to get tested on Sunday, made an appointment online, after waiting in the drive up line for about an hour, I was called and told they were out of swabs. I was tested on a Monday instead, after waiting for over an hour and getting told to go to the back of the line because I didn't call and check in (I tried multiple times when I got there, but the phone line was not picking up, just hanging up on me) and waiting another hour to actually get tested. I just called them today and found out I wouldn't be getting the results until Sunday even though I was told it would be only 3-5 days. This was a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a result in the first place and to find out I wouldn't get the result until Sunday anyway was ridiculous. Never coming back. read more
