Would give zero stars if I could. The staff at this office are completely unprofessional and refuse to take responsibility for their own mistakes. They called me several times to schedule an exam for my husband, and after I clearly stated I was not ready to pay for one, their representative assured me -- multiple times -- that he receives one FREE eye exam per year and there would be no bill. I made it very clear that if a bill came, I would not pay it. Of course, a bill did arrive. When I called to resolve it, I was told the call would be reviewed and even that they knew which employee made the promise. Instead of owning up to the misinformation, they sent the bill straight to collections. I later learned from my insurance company that Midwest Eye Center is not even in network. At one point the insurance we had...once covered this. I should have verified this myself and not taken them at their word -- I own that. But their staff repeatedly gave me incorrect information and failed to disclose something as important as being out of network. I have since removed both myself and my husband from their patient list. This office is careless, misleading, and refuses accountability. Save yourself the headache and find a provider that actually values honesty and patient trust. read more

Unfortunately I was not happy with my new pt visit. I was moved from room to room without anyone introducing themselves or explaining anything. I went to several different rooms and no one said what were doing or what were checking. After 4 interactions and 4 separate rooms the Dr came in( I was assuming she was the Dr because she didn't say anything, she just seemed rushed and annoyed. Dr. Noll & Dr. Dykhuizen are are both amazing! Dr Noll did my cataract surgery and Dr. Dykhuizen did my retina surgery. I could not be happier with both! They even picked me up at my home in Kentucky and took me to the Surgery center and brought me home at no charge.. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

I have seen Dr Mckenzie at Midwest Eye center for 3 years. Always an excellent and thorough exam. I have never waited for my scheduled appointment, always on time and very friendly....at both locations. Would recommend to anyone! read more

Long wait times past appointment time, unfriendly front office staff. When discussing this issue last visit, we were informed that despite your pre-scheduled appointment time, you should expect to wait up to two hours to be seen. read more

This place is garbage. It is the most poorly run and inefficient office I've ever experienced. Every time I go the wait is at least an hour after the appointment time. Twice they have scheduled an appointment and on arrival there was no doctor in. No notification or anything. They don't care about your time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Noll for many years now due to detached retina's in both eyes. My most recent experience was with cataract surgery and I felt it was necessary to pass along my thanks to all of the staff here. I have been treated wonderfully by not only all of the doctors (Noll, Halpin and Thom) but also by the entire staff. I knew exactly what my Medicare Plan covered and what my final out of pocket costs would be prior to surgery. I wish I had the eyes I had at 30 years of age but they have kept my eyes healthy so I can continue the activities I love. Many thanks to everyone there. read more

As another reviewer related, the reception that schedules appointments and takes care of insurance is wildly incompetent. I confirmed my eyecare insurance company and plan with them when making the appointment and over 3 weeks later brought in insurance papers on my appointment. Tri-state staff told me they required a insurance card which my insurance company does not provide. Then they told me they needed some other sort of confirmation number from my insurance provider. So I walked to my vehicle to call the insurance provider and the provider told me that all the staff really needs is my member number which I then gave to them. After another 15 minutes of waiting, the receptionist told me that they did not accept my insurance plan and that my visit would be out-of-network. I told them that I had confirmed both the insurance company and exact plan in a return call after I made the appointment and I was told that they would be accepted during that call, the main receptionist's response was, "Well someone told you wrong." Period! NO APOLOGY for wasting my entire morning and having to get off work!!!!! It is sad because Dr. Schott had a great practice before he apparently sold out to this corporate behemoth whose receptionists are as "helpful" and friendly as the worst employee at the worst DMV. Don't count on them to get anything correct or try to be helpful if THEY made a mistake. read more

Ok. I could write a super long hateful review on this but I won't. I will break it down for you short and sweet. I waited over an hour for the staff to check me in, they had my name wrong even though I was very clear on the phone and spelled my name correctly. The "technician" or whatever she was that did my initial eye exam was rude, downright mean at times and pretty much if I hadn't been blind because they took my glasses away, I would have punched her. The room I waited in for the doctor was freezing cold. Had no heat, the space heater in the room was off and I could see my breath. I waited another 30 minutes to see him. He was ok, but it wasnt until he came in that I was told he couldn't fit me for contacts at this site, which is the whole reason I came, and I explained that while making the appointment. To say I was angry, wouldn't really cover it. Do yourself a big favor. Do NOT go here. Ever. read more

Due to a potentially serious eye condition, I was sent to TCS. The front desk staff were friendly and my wait time was reasonable. The physicians I have seen have been OK, some better at dealing with scared patients than others but the assistant who works there has exactly zero patient care. She made it abundantly clear that she would rather be anywhere than having to deal with people. Not the sort of care a patient needs when she's being treated for potential glaucoma. read more
