Which became believable based on how they manipulated my mouth during the cavity fillings. My lower lip was completely split from their manipulation. Lastly, Dr Zeno continued to state "we are almost done" throughout the entire appointment. When in actuality, there was more than an hour more left before he finished. Fast forward to today, I booked a cleaning appointment for 5/8 and was told it was booked for 6/8 instead. Waited 10 minutes in the lobby just to be told I couldn't be seen today. Today was the last time I will bother with their practice.

My and my wife's long time dentist, Dr. Steven Theodosis, started to practice here in the last year…read moreor so.  There were various reasons for his recent move, but we have followed him pretty much wherever he goes, and it's been over about 25 years!  Needless to say, his care and maintenance of our dental health have been top-notch and over the years we have also been exposed to his network of excellent dental specialists as well.  He not only has a gentle touch, but his surgical work is excellent, and he clearly explains what he is doing as well.  On top of all of that, he's about as congenial a dentist as you'll ever meet.  And finally, let us not forget the staffers here. Angie is the office manager, and Josie her front desk assistant, and both are pleasant and helpful.  Rachel is their excellent full-time hygienist, also with a nice touch we have found.  Coreen and Alamera are the DA's we have encountered, and both have been helpful and communicative.   It's probably worth mentioning one other important aspect. We don't have dental insurance which is really not uncommon with retirees. I also haven't really checked around but this place is probably not the cheapest for dental services but we go with good experience. They do have an annual maintenance program offering that is a good deal if you decide to be a regular and that includes 20% off of services as well as two cleanings, two exams, and x-rays. Pro-tip:  Just don't call the office on Tuesdays as they are closed that day.  Thank you all for being there for us!

I am in need of a new dentist now because our old dentist in Bensenville sadly passed away. Maryann Michael is probably the worst dentist I have ever gone to in my life. I went to her several years ago when I had severe pain from a tooth that went bad, It had to be removed. She removed it, but I noticed even at this first visit ever with her, she was impatient about how long it took for the anesthetic to start working. But a short while after the tooth was removed my pain was gone, even later that evening. So a few months later I had a different problem with a tooth, so I went to her again. Big mistake on my part! She had to pull another tooth, and she was having extreme difficulty pulling. When she finally removed the tooth, and the anesthesia hadn't worn off yet, I was still bleeding a lot. When I went to check out and I told her I was still bleeding and in pain. She said (very snarky) "Oh you'll be alright". That was my last visit to her office.

I have not slept ever since I was seen by her! I am leaving her and will never comeback! I had the worst experience in my life.. I feel like I'm going to have PTSD over this! I came to her as a second chance because of her good reviews online. I showed up for an appointment yesterday not knowing what she is going to do with me. I arrived and the staff told me we are only doing the fillings- so okay..nervous because the last time she cleaned my teeth she hurt me. As we were talking about the fillings she asked how my bad root canal tooth was doing. I said that it did still bother me. Then she insisted we are pulling it out today instead! I was so shocked, i said NO! i wasnt ready for that. But she kept manipulating me, I feel harassed and cornered. I didnt want her to pull my tooth out but she said its for my health so I hesitatedly agreed because she is the doctor. I trusted her though I was hesitant and told her NO. Soon as the anesthesia was done she was going to pull it right away. I was shocked again because normally anesthesia takes 10 minutes or so to get working. And when she started, I felt pain! i told her and she kept telling me "it was just pressure". But in reality, it hurt like the bothering pain i would feel. After she was "done" she left a little sharp tooth hanging in my mouth!!! I noticed afterwards with all the gauze in my mouth! I cried!!!!! I dont ever want to go back to her, even if she fixes this for free! Now I can't sleep because i think about my experience!!!! My cheek felt the sharp little tooth hanging! I hate myself for coming to her. I cannot believe this is happening to me. My previous dentists never forced me to do anything that made me uncomfortable. I had to raise my hand multiple times to Maryan Michael because of how uncomfortable it was.. I've never closed my eyes and squeezed so hard during a dental visit. That was my 4th tooth being pulled out in my life and the worst ever. I literally cannot sleep and thats all that was running in my head while trying to sleep. This office is in a hospital and only ONE staff member looked put together. Maryan Michael's assistant was dressed unprofessional (wore a hoodie). Also, Maryan Michael's uniform was a mess. It had a rip on the side, as if it got snagged or someone grabbed onto it & it ripped. The light that is above you during procedure was taped up. They have all of the latest and greatest technology and the hygienist provided the best teeth cleaning I honestly have ever had in my life. They do offer aesthetic treatments in addition to standard dentistry, but other than being asked by Dr. Czapek if I was interested, he never tried to "Sell Me" on whitening or straightening etc. Recently had an old filling replaced and he provided the basic work that was needed, he made sure I was comfortable and calm throughout the process. Now at most dentist offices, the hygienist does the Xrays, checks your bite, flosses and cleans your teeth, etc. Then the main dentist comes in, checks your biting, and leaves. Here, the hygienist sat me down in the chair and left. Dr Remus came in a few mins later, did everything, and I was done. I'm used to these appointments taking almost an hour. This time, I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well, but I'm most impressed with Dr Remus being hands on with his patients.

I have been going to Dr. Cho every 6 months for the routine cleaning/check up for about 3 years…read morenow. She and her staff are wonderful!! Her staff are always pleasant and kind. They're very organized and offer great reminders in advance of the appointment. They're very up to date and use e-forms which help expedite the process when in the office. Dr. Cho herself is wonderful! She adds details to the appointment that help me informed about my oral and dental hygiene. She may comment on tongue, saliva, etc. in addition to the teeth, which helps me know my own health and shows she's paying attention well! She explains everything and remains very honest with regards to if a procedure is absolutely necessary or not. I trust her judgement and expertise. Very happy with Dr. Cho and her office!!

One of the dentists there and a hygienist also misled me into believing my care was covered by insurance. The problem was that they failed to tell me the practice no longer accepted my insurance, which they had accepted previously. The response from the responsible party (the lead partner in the practice was absolutely nothing); however, the front office staff once again showed how obnoxious, sarcastic, and rude they are. Never again and I would never recommend the practice. Finally, the dentist and hygienist insisted I have dental surgery and referred me to a specialist. I found one with a better reputation and he said that there was "nothing to indicate surgery was indicated." I would recommend avoiding this practice.
