I highly recommend Wheaton Orthodontic Center for many reasons. First, the technicians are very polite and friendly. Dr. Allen is super nice and funny, and always looks out for his patients' best interests (and their teeth). If you play a sport, he makes you a customized mouth guard for free so that your teeth may be protected at all times! The facility is nice and clean, and there is a station where you can brush your teeth before having your appointment. There is also an ample area where you can sit and read a magazine or do your work, and if your kids don't want to do that, a video game station where they can play different games. I also like the award system, where you get points for coming to your appointment on time, coming with clean teeth, wearing your Wheaton Orthodontic t-shirt to your appointment, coming without a broken bracket, wire, or attachment, ect. With a certain amount of points, you can pick a gift card to one of the numerous stores they have available. The more points you accumulate, the more amount of money you can get on a gift card! Most importantly, their work done on your teeth keeps you satisfied. Wheaton Orthodontic Center is updated with the newest technology to make and keep your teeth straight and healthy. I, myself, have had the Invisalign for almost a year, and have eight weeks left to go! It was expected that I would need the Invisalign for about two years, so my teeth have straightened pretty fast. For those who do not know what Invisalign is, it is a clear, plastic retainer that takes the place of metal braces but still moves your teeth with the same amount of efficiency. You replace your old retainers with new ones every two weeks, so that your teeth keep moving. Invisalign does not fit the needs of every one, but many people can use it. At other orthodontics, I have heard that the Invisalign is much more expensive than the braces, but at Wheaton Orthodontic Center, it is approximately the same price. Invisalign is for both adults and children, and is perfect for adults who want their teeth to be straighter but do not want the look of metal braces. For those who want braces, they are also modern. You have probably seen braces with the colorful bands around them, but at Wheaton Orthodontic Center, they do not have them. This is because those rubber bands attract plaque, therefore causing your teeth to become dirtier. Dr Allen and his entire staff are as good as it gets. In the process of my orthodontic work at the age of 54. This practice honestly has put all my fears and worries to rest. Dr. Allen's team is responsive to any patient needs on a level that I have not experienced for any other dental or medical treatment. If your kid breaks a wire afterhours or on the weekend, they will work with you to fix it. I love their guarantee that the cost quoted includes any repairs to breakage (no matter how treatment compliant your kid is) and even re-applying and another round of braces if your kid fails to wear their retainer and lose some of the progress made. Staff told me the guarantee is for the parents, because the kids aren't the ones paying for this. When another local orthodontist seemed unsure on how to treat the unique needs of child's teeth, Dr. Allen is experienced in treating hypodontia. He was very reassuring and empowering. His service cost a bit more than some other providers I got opinions from, but I have to say that for his level of knowledge, service, and value, it is well worth it. read more

All of my siblings have gone to Doctor Allen, by far the BEST orthodontist in Wheaton, he really cares about your teeth & does every thing he can to make them PERFECT. no pain, no surgeries & soooo many options. he has Invisalign & clear or metal braces.
