Happy with his work, attitude willingness to work with his patients...and his unmatched ability of delivering a shot with no pain. All of his staff is amazing! Angela is the exact opposite of the previous dentist's front desk staff (what a grouch she was!). Angela is cheerful, peppy and full of smiles. Dr. Peter Chung was super gentle and accommodating. My fiancé's teeth gets stained fairly quickly after a cleaning at other places (they said something about his salvia that stains them faster), but so far, his teeth are still clean after Dr. Chung cleaned him. He always asked if I'm comfortable and apologizes before he's about to do something that would be a little painful. The teeth cleaning wasn't as bad. I also had my cavity filled by Dr. Chung. Besides the pain from the numbing needles, everything else was painless. I was petrified with the numbing needles, but that's just me. He's really friendly too. Everything is very clean.

He met the challenge of fitting veneers over my teeth with uncommon expertise. It was a complicated design that required good planning, skill, and experience to execute. Consequently, my veneers have held up in both appearance and function--21 years and counting. In addition to veneers, I have had routine dental work in this office--again handled with a quality combination of skill and professionalism. Office manager, Joanna, and other staff have been welcoming, caring and helpful. The atmosphere is one of patient-centered teamwork. Dr Lodding obviously loves people and his work (the Cubs, too, but that's another story). Dr. Sirin purchased the practice that used to operate out of his current location. When you call…read morethe old number, the receptionist answers the phone "Dr. Sirin & Dr. Burren's office". However, Dr. Burren (from whom he purchased the practice) no longer has anything to do with the practice. After going to Dr. Burren for 10+ years, I was used to an efficiently run dentist's office and a dentist with kind bedside manner and a willingness to take the time to converse with you and get into details in regards to any questions you had about your teeth. My experience here was different. I arrived just in time for my appointment, but waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting room. When Dr. Burren ran the place, you never waited more than 2 minutes, tops. When the time came, my hygienist did a great job, but because she had not been properly trained on the new software which Dr. Sirin used, my appointment took longer than necessary and made for what I would describe as an "un-smooth" experience. When she was done, I waited another 10 minutes for Dr. Sirin to come in. When he did, he gave me a brief greeting, looked at my x-rays, and said, "What's the plan for these wisdom teeth?" Somewhat confused as to why a professional was asking me how I plan to proceed in regards to the very professional services for which he was paid, I said, "I don't know...you tell me?" With little to no explanation he told me that they should come out and that the receptionist would give me a referral and that was about it. When I went to pay the bill, the cost was significantly more for similar services than it was under Dr. Burren. I don't like writing bad reviews, but my hope is that other former patients of Dr. Burren will see this review and as a result save a bit of their precious time and money...two things for which, in regards to his patients, Dr. Burren had more respect.
