At first the experience was FANTASTIC! They had range lanes open, lots of things going on (sales), lots of personnel available. NOW??? Not so much, only one side of the range is open, the other side is held for class, but we see it is empty more often than not. When we did get on the range, they have the people with thee BIG guns shooting, which makes it miserable for those of us with just hand guns. They have two sides to that range, why not put BIG guns on one side and hand guns on the other? We are trying to cancel our memberships, wasting our $ because we can never 'just walk in' and get a lane. Making a reservation is hard too. They promised to have both sides of the range open but they don't. Not really much going on. This place deserves a better rating the rating was 2.5/5 stars when i made this but people be saying that its overpriced and that the memberships "secretly" take money out of your account or credit card but they dont do any of that its just that the people who signed up were to lazy to read the full agreement but ive had a great time here if your a beginner this is a good place to go because the staff which were very nice people helped us a lot. read more

Nice inventory and sometimes good sales, Range time and memberships are the most expensive I have seen anywhere.

Staff in the Beavercreek location are very friendly and helpful. The ranges are clean and well maintained. Only issue I have are the people bringing in 308, slugs and other insanely loud high caliber weapons. I know they allow it, but it's really obnoxious when you are just trying to train on a normal 9 mm platform or have a new shooter with you. Pro tip to all you grenade launcher owners: Go to an outdoor range with that crap. read more

I walked in today to check on prices for membership/rental fees for the lanes which is $25 an hour. The facility was very clean and employees professional. There were many guns to rent and purchase that are new and used. I like the fact that you can utilize alot of calibers of weapons. I like the fact that this range is about 3 miles from home. The place was modern and very nice with lots of retail merchandise. I dont know about prices on the retail side as I didnt buy anything. The bad, prices for the range were very high and memberships were for 2 years at $16 bi weekly. That means $32 a month x 12 months x 2 years= $768. There is a summer discount right now which is three months free. Couldnt stack a military discount on top. Fox's loft which is closed down due to COVID charged me $400 a year for me and my family. I ended up going to Sim Trainer Indoor Range in Moraine. No frills here. The staff is nice and knowledgeable $200 military discount for a 1 year membership and $10 for guests. (no time limit for members) Sim Trainer offers basic classes as cheap as $25. I opted for this range because I may only use the range once a month if that with a guest. Either way, make an informed decision on what your needs and wants are. Some ranges are outdoors but can only be used 3/4 of the year. read more

I cancelled my membership in December 2024 in person. I provided a the necessary documents with reason for cancellation. The person that did my cancellation told me I was good to go. I happened to check my credit card statement and found Midwest Shooting was still billing me biweekly. I called them about it and they said that the manager was in a meeting and that they would have him call me when he was done, which never happened. I called a day later and told him that I didn't get a call back from the manager. I never did get to talk to the manager and they told me I should call or email the billing place for Midwest shooting. They never replied to my email with the documents that I sent them which you made me have to call the ABC billing who handles their account. I ended up speaking with some lady that had no clue what she was doing and demanded that I pay what I owe on the account even though I told her I canceled it Back in December. This really pisses me off you put your trust in somebody that they will cancel your account and that you won't have to worry about your account being tagged with more payments and then all of a sudden you find out they're still billing you which is total bullshit I would normally give this place probably be three stars but lieu of what happened. Range is nice and employees are friendly. BEWARE!!!!!!! If you want to become a member read, read, read....you will pay bi-weekly for whatever membership you join. This will be taken out of your checking acct., credit card, etc.. YOU ARE IN A CONTRACT WHICH THEY DID NOT VERBALLY MENTION. I should have read every line and did not however, I was told by management it should have been verbally stated before I signed and it was not! Based on what contract you sign determines your contract length, mine 3 years! You can break the contract but will be out several hundred dollars! read more

Got a membership before they opened and was very excited about what they pitched...especially range reservations and training. Unfortunately, reservations require 24 hour notice, so not that handy. Worse is the training...you can't take a class here and there (except for CCW). You have to sign up for a multi year contract with monthly payments and sitting through the training "consultation" is like sitting in on a timeshare sales pitch...No Thanks!!!! What I find totally crazy is that they have a huge building, but use very little for the range. Always waiting to get a lane and it's very small and tight in there; too narrow. To sum it up, I'm soooooooo disappointed in this place...oh yeah, most expensive ammo in town...just for good measure. read more

We've been unsuccessfully trying to cancel this membership for over a year with no success. somehow our contract was renewed without our permission and in order to cancel the contract we must pay half of the remaining contract. How does a business behave in such a predatory fashion in 2024? I just wish I had looked at reviews before ever signing up for such a business. read more
