I also wanted to specifically mention the truly heartfelt and magnificent service by Augustine, who I finally got a chance to know a little bit better through our conversation yesterday. What an amazing human being. The owner is also very very kind and always greets us warmly. I initially came in yesterday to buy my mom an egg sandwich on a croissant, which is absolutely delicious and Augustine and Bruce (I believe this is the owner's name). make it perfectly every single time. It's so simple yet you'd be amazed at how many places screw it up. Not here. Everything is made with love and it shows. I bought the egg sandwich back home and then I went back out to get the sesame bagel as I could not stop thinking about it. There were a couple left in the display case and Augustine said if you wait two minutes, he'll give me one fresh out of the oven. How sweet is this man? I brought the sesame bagel home and put my own filling in which was pesto hummus. It was perfectly soft and a good chew on the inside and the outside had an abundance of sesame seeds with a perfect amount of crispiness, but not overly so. Phenomenal sandwich if I do say so myself.
