That exterior crust and with a slight interior chew. Consistency is a thing here. Each and every time I stop by for a quick breakfast I get the same level of perfect. I came here multiple mornings for breakfast during my recent trip to NYC. I'm from GA, so the bagels there stink & I was extremely excited for some better ones. Park bagels didn't disappoint! They don't have a huge selection of flavors, but the quality of the ones they have was really great. I got a few different things & would eat all of them again. The staff was also super friendly & fast. Sometimes it was busy, but even then they worked quickly & we didn't have to wait long. I got an onion bagel toasted with cream cheese, an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese & a bacon egg & cheese on an everything bagel. All 3 were delicious. They put the perfect amount of cream cheese on them & the BEC was huge & juicy. The staff even asked if I wanted my eggs salted & peppered or wanted anything like hot sauce on it. Overall, I would come back & make this a daily thing because I really enjoyed the experience overall. They also aren't very expensive & the service was so good I'd go back just for the friendliness. This place is pretty underwhelming and really I did not enjoy anything here, but I will give them credit for their pretty-standard bagels and pizzas. First of all the service here is really suspicious and just off. The workers don't really seem like they want to be working and seemed sometimes annoyed when they have to get up for a customer. One time I went here I was here with my friends, and the worker just looked at us and instead of saying, hello they said Ni Hao so I'm not sure what his intent was. I am hosting a memorial celebration of my girlfriend's life who just passed last week and just walking into Park Bagels, meeting Moses who could not have been any kinder or more accommodating just started everything off that would come to fruition. Definitely one of the best bagel shops. At first, some aggressive competition from other bagel shops. I've been coming here for years. The scallion cream cheese is really unbeatable. I will crave this particular scallion cream cheese every week. The bagels are fresh, sometimes they'll throw you a stale bagel but which bagel spot doesn't ? My issue with this spot is the amount of cream cheese they put on the bagel. My husband and I had to purchase half a pound of cream cheese on the side because there was cream cheese only on half of the bagel. We were eating breakfast today and most of our bites was of strictly bread. Annoying considering I'm paying $4, give me what you're charging me for. I walk in and the guys made me feel welcomed. I ordered a sandwich and when I saw the fresh bagels I picked up a few for breakfast. When I got home I was amazed how good my sandwich was, so good. I walked into the shop at about 5:15 p.m. and there were no patrons, just a guy sitting on a milk crate eating off a plate. I said hello and he seemed annoyed he had to get up and serve a customer. I only wanted an Everything bagel to munch on as I walked back into Bay Ridge. I purchased the bagel for 1.25 and left the shop. I reached into the brown bag as I was walking and broke off a piece to eat. I noticed there were no seeds or anything on the bagel. I was surprised and pulled the entire bagel out of the brown bag and saw it was PLAIN, not the Everything I had ordered. I walked 30 feet back to the shop and told the employee that he made a mistake and for some reason gave me a plain bagel. He said that I had already taken a bite out of the bagel, so he couldn't give me another bagel. I explained I had ripped a piece off in the bag, not knowing I was given the wrong type of bagel. He maintained he didn't have to replace the bagel. I turned, left and fed the plain bagel to the birds in the park. Obviously, this worker was miserable and doesn't have any respect for his job or customers. It's a shame the shop owner would hire employees with such a poor attitude. read more

Recently stopped on Easter, picked up a dozen and a half and was told the best ever.
