Born n raised on the south side of Chicago, I acquired a Ph.D in pizza-ology. I search all over for the best pies. Nothing beats the south side thin crusts.... but in the mountains of Pennsylvania there's Mifflin pizza. Mifflin Pizza is pretty darn good pizza. It has the Lil neighborhood joint feel with the smiling faces and luring smells. Their pies are made with love and it ain't hard to tell. I paid for a medium, they accidentally made a large instead and told me it's on the house made me feel like I was home! Large cheese was perfecto! Trifecta balanced. Cheese, sauce, crust all even and blended perfectly. Sauce was light and not too acidic, watery enough to keep the pizza juicy and had my mouth screaming for more. Cheese was chewy and flavorful. It came out glowing golden brown like that perfect pizza on tv. The crust was cooked perfectly soft on the inside crispy on the outside. I also order some garlic twists. I soon realized too much bread but I ate two of them and enjoyed every bite of garlicky goodness. My appetite was satisfied! Service was also A1! Just got two slices of traditional round pie with sweet sauce on the top. Absolutely delicious. Will have it again. Very nice staff and good service. Cute place and big Ben's birch beer is a must. Thank you my quick delicious dinner on my long days. read more

Mediocre at best!! my friend and I were there at lunchtime. There was one woman working. She had to do everything. Needless to say Service was slow. I was not her fault. We went here because of the reviews. I thought we would try it. I was disappointed. The poor one working by herself, tried her best to please everyone. I felt bad for her. As for the restaurant itself, it's old, outdated and not very clean. We will not return. $17.00 for a personal size meat lovers pizza which consisted of ham, pepperoni and sausage. Very scant! We love Mifflin Pizza. The crust and sauce are reliably fabulous. What is not as reliable are when they are open so be sure to check ahead. We love their pepperoni, chicken bacon ranch, and Californian pizzas. And they make delicious Calzones. read more

Ok I'm going to start off that I'm bit of a Pizza snob. I am from NewYork and living in the Bloomsburg area for over 13 years now and I always compare the Pizza here to NewYork . So far no one has lived up to my expectations . With that said ..... I finally found a place that makes me feel at home . I came with my wife and ordered a few slices and was amazed that not only did he make a proper thin crust pizza but he use real mozzarella and a homemade sauce . When I held the slice over the plate just a few drops oil on the plate not like these greasy OIP pizza places . The flavor was fantastic and I ended up eating 3 slices But that's not it ! Yes the Pizza was very very good but the thing that really impressed me was the customer service ! Every one was smiling ! The two girls behind the counter were so polite and an other guy who brought me out my third slice was so unbelievable friendly ! The owner who makes the Pizza himself ,poked his head out a few times to say hi and to make sure we were enjoying our visit . The dinning room was clean a cozy and I was very comfortable being there . You can see right into the Kitchen which is also very clean . I am so glad I now longer have to drive to NewYork for a decent slice of pizza anymore ! read more

Told by locals that this a good pizza place. Ordered and told to wait 40 minutes. Go to pickup 50 minutes later. They said it will only be a little bit so we pay. We are forced to wait 50 more minutes to get our food. Refused to refund us. Ended up missing our movie time. Pizza not even good. Waited nearly 2 hours for a pizza comparable to something you can buy frozen in any grocery store. Don't waste your time. read more

Just passing through the wilds of Pennsylvania and stopped for lunch at the first place we found and what a find it was! The pizza is delicious, thin crispy crust, good sauce, yummy melty cheese. The guys who run it are fun and quick. My husband had a slice of pepperoni and a stromboli which was packed with fillings and cheese. I had a slice of cheese and the corn fritters and they were perfect. They have a few little touches that show their personality (see my pictures). A great local pizza place that would hold its own in the Big Apple. A happy find! read more

I'm working here from out of town. I seen this place so I stopped in. I've been there now two days in a row. The employees go out of their way to make you feel like your part of the family they are so friendly and very nice and the cook came out to make sure your food was ok. NOW the good part. Took a chance on a tiny pizza place even after we were told they were out of dough for large pies. (How do they run out of dough?) Really glad we settled for a medium extra cheese. Great tasting dough, cooked just right. Excellent sauce with great flavor and plenty of cheese. Puts our local pizzas to shame. Almost at closing time we ordered large classic Italian and Steak and Cheese subs. Only staff person left was pleasant, helpful and made them delish, wrapped them in strong aluminum and bagged them. They were just as good that night as they were for lunch the next day. We stopped in and ordered 4 items, got home and there was any 3 given to us. I called and told them I was on my way back for my cheese steak, when I get there the girl tries to give me a refund , I wanted my steak ! So I go back home and find that the Stromboli , fries sub and my steak where not what we ordered.! Being there was no where else to go we just ate it anyway.. Hit or miss. We have ordered pizza and hoagies. All were ordered on different days- 1st pizza good, first hoagie good, second pizza the dough was way different undercooked, not enough sauce and the meat toppings awful, 2nd hoagie the meats were awful totally different quality of meat.
