a pepperoni pizza on a table

Huge selection of beers! The pizza was thin, greasy and delicious! The staff didn't seem too knowledgeable about the beer and didn't really want to give input on the beer at the time that I visited... not holding it against them though because they were busy and I was able to pick out my own beer because they had SO many options! I will definitely be back and I can't wait to bring my dog. Hopefully next time it will be a little slower so I can talk to a worker to find out more about the history of the brewery, the crowd favorites, and try a few more beers!!

Pizza margherita? I don't think so.

Unfortunately I left Berwick Brewing feeling a little disappointed after my most recent visit. Although this place offers a decent selection of hand-crafted beers in a cool building with a summertime biergarten, that's about where it stops. The pizza for one, is horrible. And this isn't in comparison to large cities like New York or Chicago, but to the pizza in Berwick itself. Greasy, salty, flimsy, and tasteless are just a few of the words I would use to describe it. Berwick as a rule has some great pizza establishments and it's disappointing that this place drags down that reputation. And the service, to be honest, was quite sad. No waiter service, which is fine (you order food and drinks at the bar) but the one female bartender seemed annoyed, disinterested, and didn't appear to crack a smile the whole night. It could have been an off night, but in general it wouldn't hurt to hire some friendly wait staff to make this place way better. Consider Berwick Brewing a place to come for a few microbrews with friends, and not much more. It certainly could use some improvement in the food and service departments.

    Yummy pizza!

Great pizza, love the inferno! Very hot though. They brew their own beer which is also very good & inexpensive. Good live music. The ambience is a liitle lacking but I think over time it will improve, but in the summer time there is a beer garden in the back. minus points for serving styrofoam plates and unnecessary cardboard under the pizza you order to stay...let's be more green guys!! :) Definitely a great spot to go in the area- so glad it's here!

The Dry Hopped IPA. Only complaint? Doesn't last long. Because it's so good.

The beer is great (and affordable), the pizza is great, the staff is great, the view of the Susquehanna is great, and the music is great. I don't see much that's wrong here... It's a low key vibe that feels just right. No pretentiousness DESPITE the fact that there could be--after all, they really are the only game in this town. A great testimonial to their quality? I regularly see bartenders from the other closest brewery in town HERE. This is where they come to drink. There are lot of good pizzas on the menu. I would love to describe them but I am obsessed with the curd and jaeger so that's what I always get... But the thin crust and quality ingredients make this. There's 20+ beers on tap. Their own good brews. Favorites include the Dry Hopped IPA and the Smoke Session, but the West End Pale Ale is also a go to.

I was here for the first time this evening... Good beers. The menu mainly consists of pizza which I haven't tried yet. This place kind of reminds me of a biker bar but without the biker crowd. The employees are very friendly. The place could use a little tlc but it's OK, give it a try.

Nice selection of beers, but won't be going back due to cleanliness.

We love going to different breweries and decided to travel an hour from home to try this place and also go to Turkey Hill Brewing. We were looking forward to Berwick Brewing and were disappointed. Not in the beer, but in the overall atmosphere of the taproom. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Sunday and there were quite a few people in there with only one bartender, who was also only a few days into the job. The place is dark, hot (there was one big floor fan at the entrance) and dirty. The barstools are all mismatched (not mismatched in a cool, hip way) and the ones with round cushioned seats are all torn. Cobwebs everywhere. You can tell this place is not taken care of. They don't even have a proper tap system. Extra head and beer was disposed of in a bucket. A bucket?! We ordered one flight of 6 samples. When I picked up the third glass in the flight there was a huge, dead moth hanging off the bottom of the glass. Gross. I'm glad we didn't order any food. I knew immediately walking in that we wouldn't just by the look of the place. After one flight we got out of there and headed to Turkey Hill Brewing (which was fantastic). I can say that the beer here was actually good, but seeing the state of this place I don't feel comfortable eating or drinking there. This place was a once and done for us.

If you are out in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by and enjoying a few beers and a pizza! Everything was great! We tried a few beers...the hightown ipa being my favorite! The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job making sure our glasses were always full despite being busy!

Great beer, good food, beautiful view. Not much more you can ask for. It's also family friendly, which is great. We will definitely be back.

Delicious craft beers with amazing variety. Recent addition of our food is wonderful and the pizza is one of a kind. Must try.

Owner doesn't like music that is no louder than barely a whisper. Made a horrible scene in front of many people. I'll never go back.

Tons of events and trivia in their schedule for folks looking for a night out on weekdays or weekends. The interior is mildly psychedelic with music. The food was fine. We got the burger and nachos. I was between giving 3 and 4 stars. Service was slow but the venue was busy, there was an event, and the night crew was picking up when we were there. The buffalo chicken nachos were fine. We appreciated the crispiness of the tortilla chips and the excellent cheese sauce that was well-distributed on the chips. There was tomato among other veggies that I do not remember. The chicken was fine for me on a cut. However, it had the texture of boiled chicken which I wasn't a huge fan of. Still had to get my protein in. I really enjoyed the burger. The bun was a soft potato roll. The patty was a little cooler. Between a cold burger and soggy nachos I certainly would choose the cool burger. This was made up for with the large volume of burger that was deliciously crispy. The pickles accompanied the burger with a secret mayo-based burger sauce. If warm, it could be a 5/5 burger. Overall, the experience was fine. I would go here on a week day rather than 6 on Friday, though.

I would say that this is probably the best deep dish pizza that I've tried in a while and I used to live in the Midwest. The crust was super crunchy and very buttery, which is great. You could definitely taste a jar of the cheese on the side and the crispiness of the bottom of the crust not only that, but I felt like the toppings were just amount of flavor. There was onions on there. There was corn on there. It just felt very very hearty. it's definitely heavy dish but it hits a spot if you're looking for a deep dish pizza they did it very well. I would definitely come back for this steep dish pizza and honestly, I could only get through two slices on my own definitely enough for two people to eat comfortably and not that expensive too was 13 bucks
