I contacted Ricardo after checking out his reviews, he responded quickly and we easily set up an appointment. He discussed possible options of placement of the ports since the roof and outer walling might pose an issue, but he was able to find good placement of my ports. Job was done quick and easy in less than 2 hours. Aside from making a hole in the wall for the ethernet port placement, no additional breakage of the wall was necessary. Ricardo did say that in some cases, depending on the walling and roofs, breakage of the wall would be necessary for some people, but not mine fortunately. Ricardo and is colleague were awesome, professional yet friendly and personable. They cleaned up after themselves and did an overall fantastic job to make any streaks or scrapes anywhere. HIGHLY recommended if you are looking to have ethernet ports installed that extend from your main router/modem that go through the wall/roof so you don't have ethernet cords lying around on the floor.

We have one of the original wireless Caretaker alarms, over twenty years old, that has worked very well for us. Recently we had a problem with a backup audio sensor, that because of the age of the system, had to basically be, brought back to life, with the help of Greg and Keith, two professional and courteous technicians from Mijac. They arrived when they said they would, the next afternoon.They took the time to answer all my questions, fixed my problem with the sensor, and re-adjusted our motion detector to make the system work like brand new. they both had an extremely friendly and comfortable demeanor, made us feel like our friends were working in our house. Can't say enough about their professionalism. We are very pleased to have Mijac monitor and maintain our older system, highly recommended. read more

I recently switched to Mijac Alarm from another security company. The monitoring costs kept on rising seemingly out of step with inflation. Bruce Robinson was wonderful in explaining how the technology had changed since our old system was installed and the sales process was very low pressure. My wife and I have been extremely pleased with the new system and appreciate the new features our old system didn't have. Error reading on keypad. Read directions which instructed me to call for service if error message did not leave after 24 hours. Called the next day and a very nice lady got me in touch with Richard that very evening. He was ready and willing to come out that minute if I requested but I was fine with setting an appointment. I was able to uninstall the shower head, install the filter and reinstall the shower head in one bathroom, but I didn't have the tools or elbow grease to do the same in the second bathroom. Within minutes of submitting the request, I received a message from Nick with his cell phone number, asking me to send him photos of the work. I texted him and he responded quickly confirming he could do the work with an estimate and potential time to schedule the job. He required a small deposit via Zelle. I was a little skeptical about the deposit, but he affirmed his business means more to him than the deposit and his word is worth more as well. He was able to get me on the schedule the following day and confirmed a time later that evening. That day, he texted me telling me when he was on his way and with an estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, he got straight to work. He confirmed the shower head was REALLY on there! He was able to remove it, as well as the stupid flow restrictor I'd asked the previous plumber to not install--but he did anyway--threaded the connections, and installed the shower filter and shower head quickly. He also gave me an opportunity to douse the shower head in Lime Away before reinstalling! We tested the connection and he made one minor adjustment and then was done! He charged me his minimum rate and it was worth it. Very nice gentleman, very professional and honest! I appreciate he takes Zelle and Venmo. For the $655 I already paid. They ended up sending out a different Tech today. Felipe took the time and did a thorough testing of my system, resolving my issues. He was caring and professional. However due to Covid they end up tacking on a truck fee of $90 whenever they do a service call. The system that I had was different from others so when I asked for them to come out to replace a sensor and a smoke detector, it took them 3 hours to realize that they were missing the right sensor so i had to reschedule another service call (and you guessed it) for another $90. Got an invoice for the 3 hour labor on top of the truck fee. Customer service was able to waive the first truck fee. When I spoke to the owner he was dismissive of his customer's concerns and went on to condescendingly say how his microwave was broken and it couldn't be fixed but he still had to pay the repairman (how is this relevant?). Now mind you, I don't mind paying the fee, but shouldn't HQ know what system I have/sensor to bring? It's not about how much the fee is but me having to take another day off to reschedule because a lack of preparedness on their part. After paying for the invoice, I decide to part ways with AMTEC due to their exorbitant fees and we are going with another alarm system. One where you can install yourself where you don't need to have anyone dispatched.

After the one-year warranty period expired, the streaming service stopped working, rendering the streaming boxes no longer functioning as represented. My request to refund the boxes was declined as met with texts such as "go F myself!" and "If I see anything g from you in a defamation character way I will have my attorneys sue you..."
