George and Rigo were great. Showed up right when expected and made sure to stick around until we knew how everything worked. They even noticed that one of the sensors was operational, but could work for us better and offered to come back and replace it with a sensor we could monitor from a smartphone. George and Rigo were polite and competent (even though we had some password problems on our end logging into our Apple account) Jonathan was highly professional during the initial consultation, he listened to our exact needs and didn't try to 'hard sell' stuff we did not need. Worst customer service I have ever received!!! Mike was the worst sales rep I have ever met! He was so disrespectful. He came to my house asking if I wanted their services and I was interested because the previous owners recommended them. Since he stepped inside he was just talking negative about other alarm companies instead of telling me the good benefits their company offered. The worst thing was when I gave him three names of the people that would be on my emergency contact list and he said "I know how to spell all of these FREAKING MEXICAN NAMES" I was in shock but I stayed quiet. No employees from Mijac in Rancho Cucamonga were kept, yet no one is familiar with my system - no help Ugh - terrible way to transition customers of 30 + years . Shame on Mijac. read more

I called this company to set up a day for them to come out an give me an estimate on cameras for the prpperty I work for. The first time I called everything seemed fine and they said they do free estimates. I gave them my info and they said they would call back. They never did. I called them today and they told me that they won't come because it wouldn't be free. They want me to take a picture and send it to them so they know what cameras I have. And they will determine what to do. But how is that possible without viewing the wiring and distance or the camera set up? I'm not going to go into much more details. It doesn't seem like everyone is on the same page there. I would have given 1 star but I'm not that shallow of a person. Please clarify if you guys give free estimates or not. Thanks! read more

Solid company. Met with Bruce when I moved my office to Rancho Cucamonga and everything went smooth. My office is complex and has many strange peculiarities, yet Bruce and his team worked them out without a glitch. As an architect/owner, I love the customer service as well. No issues with billings and Mijac Alarm is a straight up company. My understanding is that they also have direct communications with the Rancho Cucamonga Police and have even installed their system...can't get better than that, now can you? This Review is specifically for Richard, Tanner, Jake, and Joe. I had recently needed to have some wireless motion sensors wired to the system directly. Joe was able to accommodate my request to have work scheduled on a Holiday normally observed by private businesses, and local/federal government agencies. Richard, Tanner, and Jake had arrived with smiles and an eagerness to assist with my request on that day. I really liked how they communicated with each other and their service department in determining solutions to problems. Without any hesitation, the 3 of them got right on it and proceeded to complete the wiring. The work was completed way before the original proposed time and in compliance to the work request. Finally, after checking the system multiple times to confirm the integrity of their work, they cleaned up any debris which had resulted from the installation. It's really nice to now that a company cares about the cleanliness of the job just as much as completing it. Kudos to these gentlemen and MIJAC Alarm for such a positive experience. read more

Mijac set up the alarms at our office in Rancho Cuamonga. The installation was great, Bruce Robinson did a great job explaining the system to us before we bought and after the alarms were in. The system works great. On of our staff left the door ajar the second night we had the system and the wind must have pulled the door open after we left. He walked around my home before starting any work to make sure everything was installed where I wanted it to be installed. He put down drop clothes and cleaned everything up when he was done. I have been a Mijac customer for 8 years. I became dissatisfied when they started hounding me about upgrading to 5G and that if I didn't do it soon it would cost me more later. My employer uses Mijac and wasn't being bombarded with calls and letter about a 5G upgrade. I was concerned Mijac was only going after residential customers. Mijac never addressed my concerns in a manner that seemed truthful to me. Then I got a call from Utah on a Sunday that my battery was low and needed to be replaced. My question was which battery and whether I could replace it myself. The next day Mijac called to follow up and schedule an appointment to replace my battery. When I asked which battery, I was told it was the battery in my fob. I asked the question again to be certain I understood and the individual said yes. As you might imagine I have replaced the battery in my fob several times over 8 years without Mijac calling to me it was low. This sounded ridiculous to me. That along with snarkiness instead of customer service was the last straw for me. I moved on. read more
