She is refusing to change it and the escrow company she selected id overpriced by $2,000 per side of the transaction compared to other companies. When we asked her to change companies she told us to call escrow and arrange it...why will escrow do anything? Integrity Escrow has not responded to our request to explain why they have to many additional/made-up fees. We are closing on our 1st home in less than a month. Anna has made this experience a nightmare. We contacted the department of real estate and they asked for us to talk to her 1st. That will be impossible since she is very unprofessional and does not return calls nor emails.

For loans and refi, you'll want to lock in the lowest rate possible which might be available only for a small window of time. In order to get the process started, there is a checklist of items to gather (pay stubs, banking documents, ID, etc). The sooner YOU submit your documents to Alliance West, the sooner they can help you to secure the rate. 3. In a time of COVID, I love that we were able to handle everything over the phone/text, and email/internet. The only time I had to meet them face-to-face was at the close of escrow to sign/notarize documents. 4. This seems like a no-brainer but it was new news to a rookie like me: You'll need to close your home equity lines in order to close escrow. Either close it in advance (takes a month or longer depending on your bank/lender), or if you are like me and didn't know, then ask Alliance West fax a payoff request to your bank/lender to expedite closing the equity line (this process takes 2-3 business days from the time the fax is received). 5.
