I need insurance now in order to obtain registration on my vehicle and MIND YOU, I still have my home owners policy in place with them.. When I called to ask to reinstate my insurance Nancy sighed so loud, letting me know she was annoyed with me and then proceeded to tell me that it's a headache for her agents there to have to keep rewriting my policy for my auto insurance. I can not believe this and I will be taking all my business elsewhere. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM, THEY ALL SEEM LIKE THEY DISLIKE THEIR JOBS HERE. So unfortunate after all these years. Kcal insurance not only emails me to remind me. Their agent also calls me on the phone to remind me. 2. They are fast and efficient getting quotes to me on my properties. They carry a variety of the insurance companies and their pricing is very competitive. The larger the insurance agent, the more companies they are able to represent. 3. Kcal Insurance has the local feel with the national system. When I need help, I don't need to rely on having to wait for your agent to call Your back. They have a customer service phone number; every time I call a helpful representative always helps me right away. 4. When I called their phone number today an AI agent answered me in Chinese. Of course I didn't have good attitude with an AI agent and demanding to speak with a real person. The AI kindly asked what I needed, I answered it impatiently. To my surprise, the AI agent completely understood what I requested and repeated what I wanted and told me what I requested did require an actual agent and would transfer me right away. Wow. I was blown away by the Chinese AI Agent. It understood me and did not waste my time.

You see, I found myself in the rather unfortunate position of being involved in a motor vehicle accident--another driver cut me off and crashed into my car, which, as far as I understand the laws of physics and basic driving etiquette, was not my doing. Naturally, I thought it prudent to request a review of any available footage to support this wildly controversial notion of "not being at fault." This, however, was met with what I can only describe as an administrative shrug. Thinking perhaps there had been some sort of clerical oversight (these things do happen, after all), I made several attempts to follow up--calls, inquiries, the usual rituals. Silence. Not even the comforting hum of progress. Just... nothing. Eventually, I did manage to speak with Stephanie, at which point I had hoped for clarity, or at the very least, a modicum of professional curiosity about my situation. Instead, I was rather unceremoniously talked down to and, quite astonishingly, made to feel as though I had somehow orchestrated the entire incident myself. I assure you, if I had that level of control over events, I would have chosen a far less inconvenient outcome. Now here's the truly remarkable part: months later, upon checking the status of my claim, I discovered it had been recorded as me accepting full liability. Full liability! A conclusion I neither agreed to nor was properly informed about. It's the sort of plot twist one might expect in a poorly written procedural drama. All in all, the experience has been less "customer service" and more "existential puzzle," with communication that could generously be described as intermittent at best. I had hoped for diligence, transparency, and perhaps even a hint of advocacy. What I received was... well, this. Would not recommend, unless you enjoy confusion, unanswered questions, and surprise endings.
