During that visit, I asked about adding an Alexa‑controlled relay. After purchasing the relay, I scheduled an appointment for installation. Nathan returned with Spiros K., whom I understand to be his supervisor. Despite multiple attempts, they were unable to install the relay, and the fan began running continuously. They assured me this would be corrected on their return visit, along with installing the plug extension. I purchased the needed plug myself and texted to schedule their return. The next day, I received a message stating they would "pass on installing" the relay due to how it needed to be set up. I responded that the relay was no longer an issue and that I simply needed the fan problem--caused during their visit--resolved. After that, all communication stopped. Multiple messages went unanswered. We paid roughly $900 for the two visits, and I was willing to pay for the fan correction despite it resulting from their work. Instead, I had to hire another company to restore the fireplace, costing an additional $350. Declining to continue with the relay installation is understandable. Abandoning the job without fixing the fan issue is not. The lack of follow‑through and communication is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and will not be recommending Atlas Fireplace to anyone.

There was…read moresome urgency to have it functioning because our furnace was being replaced and while we were waiting for the new furnace to be delivered we were relying on the gas fireplace in the interim. I told Oscar this. The pilot light in the fireplace was on but the fireplace would not light. Oscar said it needed a new control board and he would try to order one and let me know. I paid him $65 for the service call. I heard nothing further from him so after waiting all week to hear from him I called again. He said he couldn't find the board and forgot to call me back. He flatly told me to call another fireplace repair company. He could not even tell me the part number of the board so that I could save the cost of another service call. Terrible service. Very disappointed. Despite repeated requests for Oscar to refund his service fee, as he had promised to do, he did not keep that promise.

That was over two months ago. Despite multiple calls and texts, I have received no update on the part and no timeline for when my fireplace will be repaired. In the meantime, I have had no heat in my master bedroom through the entire winter. I understand parts can take time, but the lack of communication is unacceptable. A simple update -- even a text-- would go a long way. At this point, I have paid $150 and have nothing to show for it. I hope the business will make this right, but I cannot recommend it based on this experience.

These guys did just a…read morefantastic job - both bathrooms now look completely updated and clean with the new grout and caulking. Before both baths had tile with cracks, gaps and mismatched grout patchwork - really bad. We had planned to remodel both but first wanted to tackle our kitchen, so we had the tile work done in the meantime. The results are so impressive, we won't mind waiting for quite a while to remodel - I mean, it made such a difference, we feel like we DID remodel! They were very knowledgeable, hardworking, punctual and courteous. I highly recommend!
