Jesse's expertise was especially valuable during our ceremony. We opted to use SE not just for music but for sound amplification as well. First, it's a very beautiful location with lots of historic charm. The original building was built in the 1840s with additions and renovations throughout the years. Sunny, the owner, originally gave my daughter and her fiancee a tour of the facilities. She showed them photo albums to give them an idea of the type of wedding they could expect at Naylor Hall. She answered all of their questions. She was professional and friendly. Abbey, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful. She kept everybody relaxed and organized during the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. She ensured that we knew exactly what to do and when to do it. She kept everybody on time, and she ensured that we had a successful, enjoyable event. The rest of the staff was also great. Hal, the DJ, played all of the songs selected by my daughter, and he was a good MC for the post reception activities, such as the cutting of the cake, first dance, father-daughter dance, and throwing of the bouquet. Eric, the photographer, was professional, organized and courteous. He gave clear instructions to the wedding party and ensured that he captured lots of wonderful photos. During the reception, he was present at all the right moments to capture memories shared by my daughter and now son-in-law with their friends and family. Raul, the bartender, was friendly and provided excellent service. He kept our guest's glasses filled and anticipated our needs throughout the evening. The rest of the staff, including many servers, made the event a big success. One thing to keep in mind is that my daughter's wedding took place during COVID. The staff at Naylor Hall took many precautions to ensure that guests were safe. They provided commemorative face masks and multiple hand sanitizing stations for our friends and family. Each time we called we spoke with someone different at their answering service and each person we spoke too either had a rude attitude or seemed to have no clue what they were talking about. We were told they would reach our to the venue & would receive an immediate call back. That never happened & at one point we were told someone was on the way and would be there in 10 minutes. Neither of these things ever happened. You would thing someone could have at least returned the phone call. We would have been understanding if there were some sort of confusion on their end, but to completely ignore the situation was just wrong. We received an email from Naylor Hall the following day claiming they did not receive confirmation of the tour. However, we have the email with confirmation. I have zero confidence in a wedding venue planning my daughters big day when they cannot even show up for a tour. Needless to say this was a blessing in disguise as my daughter found her dream venue & they were by far the most professional people we have met in this entire planning process.

Review of Roswell Historic Hall: A Bride's Nightmare…read more I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the service provided by Roswell Historic Hall during our wedding reception on April 27, 2024. Our experience was far below the expectations set during our initial meetings, leading to numerous issues that marred what should have been a joyous occasion. Shuttle Service: The shuttle service was a disaster. Despite scheduling pick-up times, the shuttle was over an hour late. Elderly guests, some requiring walkers and canes, were left standing for long periods. Many guests ended up walking to the venue, crossing Alpharetta Highway, which was unsafe and unacceptable. Additionally, several groups of guests waited over an hour for the shuttle to leave after the event, with the driver nowhere to be found. My father and other guests had to personally search for the driver behind the bar multiple times. Police Officer & Staff: Despite paying $500 for a police officer, no officer was present. This was a clear breach of our contract, and I demand an immediate refund. Initially, there was no bartender at the cocktail service, leaving guests to serve themselves. My friend had to ask for help with the margarita machine, only to be told to calm down when she needed assistance. The waitstaff were largely absent, choosing to hang out in the kitchen and tent area instead of serving guests. Food and Beverage: The quality and quantity of the food were extremely disappointing. The charcuterie display was tacky and insufficient for our 160 guests. Many guests, including my daughter, went hungry. The cocktail hour spread fell far short of what was promised. I had to ask for more food to be put out, which should not have been necessary. The champagne toast was another fiasco; I had to text you to start opening the champagne despite our prior discussion. Decorations and Cakes: The cookie table was not placed as agreed and was nearly empty when I checked it. I had to restock it myself, which is unacceptable. The cakes were displayed without any decorations, and the cake topper was not placed until I did it myself. The cake was not distributed to guests, resulting in a $700 loss as many guests did not receive any, and we had no leftovers to freeze for our anniversary. Organization: Throughout the evening, I had to make numerous phone calls and texts to address issues that should have been managed by your team. My husband and I repeatedly had to go behind the bar and kitchen to locate servers and items, causing unnecessary stress and disrupting the flow of the evening. You even approached me several times to ask if you could leave, despite knowing the event was not going well. Overall Experience: In summary, the level of service provided during our wedding was unacceptable. It tarnished what should have been a beautiful day and caused unnecessary stress and disappointment for us and our guests. The numerous failures in meeting the agreed-upon expectations have led me to demand a 30% refund of the total amount paid, which is $5,310. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. I strongly urge you to address these issues to prevent similar experiences for future clients. This was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of our lives, and the service provided by Roswell Historic Hall was a complete failure. Message me if you'd like to discuss my experience.
