We booked a tour with them & they did not even show up for the tour. We waited 45 minutes in the cold & called several times. Each time we called we spoke with someone different at their answering service and each person we spoke too either had a rude attitude or seemed to have no clue what they were talking about. We were told they would reach our to the venue & would receive an immediate call back. That never happened & at one point we were told someone was on the way and would be there in 10 minutes. Neither of these things ever happened. You would thing someone could have at least returned the phone call. We would have been understanding if there were some sort of confusion on their end, but to completely ignore the situation was just wrong. We received an email from Naylor Hall the following day claiming they did not receive confirmation of the tour. However, we have the email with confirmation. I have zero confidence in a wedding venue planning my daughters big day when they cannot even show up for a tour. Needless to say this was a blessing in disguise as my daughter found her dream venue & they were by far the most professional people we have met in this entire planning process. read more

I don't typically give out many 5 star ratings, but the team at Naylor Hall on Canton Street in Roswell exceeded my family's expectations. First, it's a very beautiful location with lots of historic charm. The original building was built in the 1840s with additions and renovations throughout the years. Sunny, the owner, originally gave my daughter and her fiancee a tour of the facilities. She showed them photo albums to give them an idea of the type of wedding they could expect at Naylor Hall. She answered all of their questions. She was professional and friendly. Abbey, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful. She kept everybody relaxed and organized during the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. She ensured that we knew exactly what to do and when to do it. She kept everybody on time, and she ensured that we had a successful, enjoyable event. The rest of the staff was also great. Hal, the DJ, played all of the songs selected by my daughter, and he was a good MC for the post reception activities, such as the cutting of the cake, first dance, father-daughter dance, and throwing of the bouquet. Eric, the photographer, was professional, organized and courteous. He gave clear instructions to the wedding party and ensured that he captured lots of wonderful photos. During the reception, he was present at all the right moments to capture memories shared by my daughter and now son-in-law with their friends and family. Raul, the bartender, was friendly and provided excellent service. He kept our guest's glasses filled and anticipated our needs throughout the evening. The rest of the staff, including many servers, made the event a big success. One thing to keep in mind is that my daughter's wedding took place during COVID. The staff at Naylor Hall took many precautions to ensure that guests were safe. They provided commemorative face masks and multiple hand sanitizing stations for our friends and family. What an amazing experience we had at our wedding venue, Naylor Hall. Extremely professional from start to finish and our wedding was perfect. Sunny and Abbey took care of every detail and provided us with almost all inclusive top notch vendors including food, flowers, DJ, cake, and full bar. They were also able to recommend additional vendors for anything else we needed. Hurricane Ian threatened our wedding but not to worry, they also had a back up plan in place that took the worry away. Fortunately we didn't have to use the back up plan and had a beautiful outdoor wedding. Our guests didn't have to wait long to be served at the multiple bars and food stations and there were plenty of staff on hand to provide excellent service. Sunny and her team at Naylor have hosted 3 events that I have either helped to plan or attended as a guest over the past year and a half. They were all absolutely flawless events. Her attention to detail is almost criminal! Two specific examples: rather than just have generic roses as gifts for our guests, she worked to find a whole seller who would get us gorgeous roses, clean them (take off the thorns), and 'plump' them so that they appeared bright and full. She got us those roses at cost and they were better than anything we could have found on her own. Another example came when I attended a Derby Party as a guest-- from the names of the drinks to the twinkle lights to the carriage rides around town-- no detail was too trivial or small. She has the ability to transform Naylor Hall to whatever the event demands. It is remarkable! In terms of vendors like food, etc, she has a preferred list (folks she has worked with before and who know the kitchen, for example) but was open to other vendors as long as she had the opportunity to meet with and vet them beforehand. Considering the unique location and needs around that, it makes sense that she needs to be sure each vendor understands the gem that is Naylor Hall. As someone who hadn't needed caterers in that area before, I really appreciated having a 'short list' of caterers to choose from. We landed on one that we LOVED and there were vendors in every price range to help us find the right fit. We've done our luncheons inside for the most part, but we're already brainstorming how we can utilize the gorgeous lawn space next year. Where to even begin! I had my wedding here and it was absolutely amazing! To start the venue offered an all inclusive package that made planning a heck of a lot easier! They provided chairs, linens, wedding planning and coordinating! By using the all inclusive package I got amazing prices on the cake, catering, flowers, DJ and more! I stayed well under the budget we had allotted! All the vendors they used through the package where amazing! We spoke to many places, but only visited Naylor Hall. It felt right immediately and we put down our deposit. Sunny and Abbey followed through on everything they promised and made the day as simple as possible for me and my husband. If anything went amiss during the event, I was none the wiser. My guests had a blast. We had a blast. We used their preferred vendors and were thrilled with the results! Our food was great. Our cake was AWESOME! We just recently had our wedding at Naylor Hall and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue! We had looked at several venues in the Roswell area (as couples tend to do) and not only did I fall in love with Naylor Hall, but Sunny the owner and coordinator sealed the deal for us. The entire planning process up until our wedding day and on our wedding day was fabulous and meticulous. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has such romantic and charming character that anyone will fall in love with. I did not have to worry about one thing on my wedding day - it went very smoothly. I dropped off my favors, guest book, candles, and pictures a few days prior and Sunny had everything in place by with little direction from me the time of the wedding that evening. Sunny and Dawn also had some great advice and suggestions as far as hotels, hair salons, etc. My husband and I felt whatever Sunny recommended was the way we were going since she has been doing this for 20+ years and anyone you speak with in the community (vendors, former clients, and guests) absolutely love working with her. If you are getting married at Naylor Hall I highly recommend going with their all-inclusive package that pretty much includes everything except the photographer, but again Sunny has plenty of great photographers she recommends. All taxes and services charges were included in the price which helps not having to deal with any of the service charges the day of the wedding with each individual vendor. Additionally, the vendors in the package deal are excellent. I received so many compliments on my cake (Salted Carmel is a must!). The caterer, the DJ, and the florist were all so professional and just really easy to work with. So many people that had come to our wedding said our reception and ceremony were the best they had ever been to. We had our daughter's wedding this past Saturday at Naylor Hall and I could not have been more pleased. Sunny and Abbey were wonderful!! They are so professional and calm and anticipate all that is needed. We had a little sprinkle at the beginning of the ceremony and they were right there with Plan B, if needed, and umbrellas, if needed. Luckily we were able to finish the ceremony! We have wanted to write a glowing review of Naylor Hall since our wedding on September 24, but have hesitated because as cliche as it sounds, putting our incredible experience into words is next to impossible... but we will try. We met Sunny Bailey, the owner, at a very difficult time during our wedding planning. We were about 6 months out from our wedding and had decided that we needed to switch venues. Our date was very important to us and we were praying that we could find a local venue that had availability on our date. I found Naylor Hall via an online search and read a bunch of their amazing reviews. I made one call to them and was told that the owner Sunny would call me back later that afternoon. When she called, I was thrilled to find out that the couple that planned to marry there on 9/24 just had to move their date! I explained the situation that we were in and Sunny was incredibly warm and understanding. From that point to the wedding and since then, both my Wife and I consider Sunny to be a true friend. We live in Roswell and plan on stopping by over the years to keep in touch. She is that special. She has a wonderful team in place to help ensure that your event is a total success. Laura, the bartenders, etc. were all such great people to work with. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. It's a historic parlor home set on the main street in historic Roswell. It has a beautiful front lawn where we held our ceremony. Sunny suggested we consider getting a horse and carriage for my Wife and her Dad to ride in on. We did and it was so surreal to see my bride coming around the corner. It took everyone's breath away. We had a 140 person wedding and Naylor Hall was perfect for our guest count. It could certainly hold more though. Sunny coordinated everything for us in terms of setting up tents off the ballroom for additional seating and a photobooth! Sunny also suggested we come up with a "signature cocktail" with a unique name. She made nice signs for our drinks by each bar. What a nice touch. So many of our guests talked about how cool that was. Sunny has relationships with a bunch of great vendors including caterers. We used 3 Sisters and the food was UNBELIEVABLE. Throughout the entire planning process, my Wife and I came up with different ideas to add our own personal touch to our wedding. We ran each idea by Sunny and she was accomodating to all of them. Once again, a joy to work with. She and Naylor Hall truly understand that for each couple they work with, their wedding day is the most special day in their lives. You can see the love and excitement in each of them as they help you prepare for your big day. It is so refreshing to have found people who really care about helping you make everything perfect. Afterall, you are spending a lot of money for your wedding and will remember it forever. I was married here and the entire experience of working with them was great. The planner and staff was very professional and clearly on top of everything. They had great options for us to choose from and had all of their vendors were vetted. They set up a meeting for us with the caterer ahead of time and they did a tasting for us so we knew exactly what would be served. We still have people that tell us that the food at our wedding was the best wedding food they've had. Bottom line, our experience was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing - I'm happy we chose Naylor Hall for our wedding. We immediately felt the connection that we wanted to make this our wedding spot. Long story short: Our wedding day was flawless, perfect, stunning and everything we wanted. I got everything I wanted to be used and gave it to Sunny and told her to have fun, I want to be surprised my self. Mind you i like things done a certain way. I can be extremely type A and if things aren't done right I can get bent out of shape. Sunny was extremely flexible and gave great direction. If I was talking about things that probably wasn't the best idea she would give me a good insight of the way that would have worked or so other options that would have been easier to do. Obviously being a wedding planner and seeing so many wedding I trusted her with everything. Like I said before everything was perfect and flawless. The day was well organized , everything was perfectly placed, and most of all I enjoyed ever minute of the day ! So now the wedding is over and I go to pick up the stuff I brought for it. We are so happy we selected Naylor Hall for our daughters wedding. Sunny and Abbey are very helpful and knowledgable. They are a pleasure to work with. They returned my emails or phone calls very quickly and never made me feel uncomfortable to ask questions. Sunny is flexible. She worked with my husband on a Beverage package that was part the basic package with some drinks from the elite package. The house is absolutely gorgeous in the wedding pictures! There is not enough space here nor enough nice words in the dictionary to adequately express how magical Naylor Hall is. I have been a bridesmaid almost 10 times and after seeing it all, I was reluctant to have a wedding and go through the stress of planning. However, my fiance wanted a proper wedding so I compromised! After looking at a few venues in Atlanta, we found Naylor. Right from the start, Naylor Hall was different from the rest. Sunny was warm and welcoming when she invited us for the initial visit and even accommodated my schedule--something I quickly realized was not the norm! Sunny also followed up with us right after the visit as she promised (also not the norm!). We immediately canceled all other venue appointments after meeting Sunny. We had found our home. First of all, Naylor Hall's magnificence is palpable-- it's just a truly special place. Secondly, nothing beats the Naylor Hall package--florist, cake, catering, linens...everything is taken care of for you at a reasonable price! This was a godsend for a low-maintenance bride like me. Thirdly, Sunny and her staff (Donna, Brandon!!) are angels on Earth. Sunny was always accessible, visible, helpful and honest throughout the whole process. She answered my every email and call, recommended vendors, gave critical advice and totally supported my vision the whole time. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with even though they are always booked! Sunny got to know us as a couple and made several accommodations for special requests (different approach to walking down the aisle, a signature drink, candy bar, modified schedule) that made our wedding perfect. She coordinated with all of the vendors so we didn't have to and I completely trusted her 100% and it was an absolute joy to get to know her throughout the year and I truly feel a part of the Naylor Hall family. Did not host here. Called to find out about a post wedding lunch (not reception) and was told that one of their vendors would need to be used who can "try to make Indian food". That's what everyone wants to hear...trial and error for a 100+ people luncheon. Would not recommend. read more

Wow, what a wedding! Naylor Hall did such a wonderful job helping our daughter to plan and carry out the most beautiful wedding. The event was more than we hoped for or imagined! We chose the package which included the food and alcohol, DJ, cake, and flowers. Our daughter is active military and stationed in Florida yet the planning was made so simple. Sunny and Abbey did a great job going over every detail with our daughter. They were so accommodating with our daughter's precise plans. Everything was so easy and without stress. The ceremony was in the front yard which was quite stunning with the chairs and decorations. Sunny & Abbey had the main ballroom decorated so beautifully that is was beyond our daughter's imagination! The food was delicious and drinks were great. Our daughter and son-in-law had taken song requests from the guests to assemble a play list. The DJ did a great job of MC'ing the evening and kept everyone dancing with fabulous music. After the wedding was over, many guests went to downtown Roswell to have more fun. Needless to say the location could not be more convenient. If we had it to do all over again, we would still definitely choose Naylor Hall. read more

If you're looking for an elegant yet comfortable place to hold a wedding ceremony or reception, no need to look any further! I'm the mother of a bride, and I can't say enough positive things about Sunny and the venue. My daughter's ceremony was on the lawn, and the reception was in the ballroom. From the very first time we met with Sunny, we knew she understood exactly what we wanted. She was amazing, from offering great suggestions to handling even little details that I didn't know she would take care of for us. It was obvious that her goal was to give my daughter a princess bride experience and to make the day as easy as possible on the family so we could enjoy the day. I've worked in a company where customer service is important for many years, and I'm a strong critic when I don't get good service from others. For me to give 5 stars says a lot, and I highly recommend Sunny and Naylor Hall for any special event where quality and exceptional service are important. As a side note, I've also attended business meetings there, and it works great for a large group to meet in the ballroom and use the small parlors or front porch for break-out groups. My daughter's wedding reception was at Naylor Hall this past weekend. It was the best party and celebration anyone could have asked for. Naylor is a spectacular house and it comes completely alive with a crowd of family and friends. Sunny Bailey (the home's owner and wedding expert) is so incredibly knowledgeable and skilled when it comes to orchestrating the perfect party. She has more than 20 years in the wedding business and she knows exactly what works best. Her calm, reassuring demeanor and warm personality make it so easy to plan. From the moment I stepped foot in the house and talked to Sunny, I knew Naylor would be the choice for the reception. We chose to do the package option with Sunny and were so pleased at what an incredible value it was. There are absolutely zero hidden or additional costs or surprises. All of her vendors are extremely skilled, professional and experienced and were an absolute pleasure to work with. Sunny and her wedding planner Abbey planned a heavy hors d'oeuvre cocktail party for us. There was plenty of seating but no assigned seats and that allowed people to mingle yet still get plenty of food. They had everyone through the buffet line and fed within record time and that left plenty of time for people to dance and enjoy the excellent band. It was an absolute blast! Beautiful from the street!! Very helpful man that was very knowledgeable about the packages offered and for general wedding knowledge! Packages seemed very reasonable, and would make wedding planning a whole lot easier if you decided to go the whole "all-inclusive" route. The inside of the house though....definately not what you'd think looking at the beautiful grounds from the street... I walked into the ballroom and wondered why the entire back wall of the very small dark ballroom was covered in cheap looking mini-blinds that were closed during the day. I couldn't get near them when the guide was around, but as soon as he ducked away I snuck up to peek behind (thinking there must be beautiful gardens!)...I left pretty quickly when I saw a parking lot that was littered and full of trucks and backed up to another building! So basically if you want a pretty ballroom with moonlight pouring through, not for you. I cut my meeting short after being so disappointed. For the "southern belle" wedding, I would recommend Cedar Plantation where I am having my wedding in September. read more
