I had work done by him and I would recommend not using his services. He also does business as MR Granite

Shower, tub, floors, tile, lighting, electrical, tile, fans/vents, painting and more. I give them my highest recommendation. See before and after photos. Excellent communication, beginning with their response to my initial request for information and throughout the whole project. The project manager and even the owner were available to respond to questions seven days a week. At the end of every day they provided a progress report along with what to expect the following day. They made regular visits to my house to inspect the work in progress. Even after completion of the project they stayed in touch to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. All the workers were courteous and professional. Each day they carefully cleaned the work and adjacent areas. At the end of the project a housecleaning service thoroughly cleaned and touched up. It amazes me how other companies and individuals didn't respond to my inquiries or ghosted me after promising to provide a quote. Importantly, ICO is local with brick and mortar offices in the metroplex. I would be leery of all those virtual companies who devote most of their resources to sales and marketing and then sub the work to random contractors.

What a wonderful business, extremely nice people with great ideas. If you're looking for a great…read moreconstruction company, look no further, you can't do better than HDP. Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

Again, HDP Construction rocks. We used Ray and his team to do a complete remodel inside out…read moreoutside in 2016 and couldn't have been happier. YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. We look forward to beginning the next list of projects.

As a homeowner, it's been surprisingly hard to find contractors that meet my criteria, but Innovations Touch met them all! Although I have larger projects planned in mind, I hired them for some smaller projects to see how they'd do, especially after hearing horror stories of larger renovation projects being handled poorly. My townhouse was built in 1981 and needed some repairs. Innovations Touch installed a custom guard rail at the attic hatch, installed some new window screens, fixed the catwalk in the attic, did some window siding and wall repairs and completed some behind-the-walls plumbing work. During the whole process, they set expectations well, did a great, detailed job of the work, exceeded my expectations, was fair in price relative to the quality of the work and expediency, and even cleared up a slight miscommunication we had very professionally with no ego or attitude. I was very impressed. Given they literally met all of my criteria, I trust them completely now and it feels good to have an "I know a contractor guy" for renovations for myself and others now. I'm still building my "rolodex" for home repairs, renovations, and HVAC, but glad I'm taking one big one off my list.

Shane proved to be unreliable, performed the work out of order, attempted to charge us to correct…read morehis own mistakes, and is now threatening to place a lien on our property. He and his crew were scheduled to begin work on Monday, June 2nd, but failed to show without any communication. After waiting all morning, we reached out, and he said he'd come Tuesday. He did arrive then, removed the tile, and found mold--an expected issue in a shower. He said he'd return Wednesday to remediate the mold, but left early and claimed he needed to get supplies. Wednesday morning, he called to inform us his wife had a medical emergency, which we completely understood and sympathized with. He promised to return Thursday--then didn't show or contact us. Again, given the circumstances, we gave him the benefit of the doubt. He came Friday and treated the mold, stating he'd return Saturday to continue. Saturday came and went with no communication. On Sunday, he told us he'd be back Monday, which he was. He installed insulation and backer boards but said he'd return Tuesday to tape the seams. We're unsure why that couldn't have been done the same day, especially since he also didn't have the proper tool to remove the shower handle and instead worked around it. He skipped Tuesday, came Wednesday, and told us he had quick-drying seam tape and sealant so he could finish that and begin tiling. After applying the tape, he said he was going to pick up the tile--but never returned that day. On Thursday, he came back with the right tool and, while removing the shower handle, broke the copper regulator. He claimed it had rusted through, but copper doesn't rust. He said it was the manifold, but another plumber confirmed it wasn't and that the manifold wasn't even near that location. Shane texted us a quote for replacing the piece--including taking down the wall he had just put up. If he had completed tasks in the correct order, there would've been no need for demolition. We agreed to pay for the replacement part but not for removing and reinstalling the wall. After that, he stopped responding entirely. We waited through the weekend with no update and finally reached out again on Monday. He refused to fix the issue or finish the job and is now threatening to place a lien on our home for incomplete and poorly executed work. A second contractor has since reviewed what Shane did and confirmed that the work was sloppy--the backer board, tape, and sealant were improperly installed, and tile would never lay flat on the current surface. Do not hire this contractor. He will try to charge for work not agreed upon, ignore your concerns, and walk away if you don't comply--then still demand full payment.
