The organization to get a loaner car for service repair is so unorganized. You have to call and leave a VM 3+ times to get a response. They will book you an appointment and tell you they will have a car ready by then but that that appointment will be three weeks ago with multiple calls with no response. They should be reaching out to me and rescheduling the appointment if a car isn't ready. Not 3 weeks of radio silence. This is also the 2nd time I've experienced situation unfortunately this so I know it's not a one off. read more

I honestly can't say enough with how pleased I am with Mike Savoie Chevrolet. I originally got connected to them through a coworker who recommended Eric Murphy (Salesman). I was looking to trade in my Chevy Cruze that I bought when I was in California and trade up to Chevy Colorado. I had tried a few other dealers previously with no luck. Between a lack of inventory and a lack of ability (or willingness) to work with me on price, etc. I honestly had decided to just keep the Cruze for the time being and revisit an upgrade later on. However, I was talking about this to a coworker and they recommended Mike Savoie. So I figured I would give it a shot. Eric was fantastic from start to finish. Going above and beyond. He was honest and real with me through the whole process about what my options were, what he could do for me, etc. Even when things got complicated with trading in my Chevy Cruze due to it being a California vehicle. I won't bore you with those details. He helped me with multiple different options and stayed in contact the entire time. He got me a great deal on an amazing vehicle. I've had it for about a year and half now and I'm still in love with it. Fast forward to earlier this month, I unfortunately was in an accident. Not my fault and thankfully everyone was okay. I reached out to Eric to let him know and he helped give me direction on where to take it and continued to check in on me and the truck. I ended up taking it to the body shop at Mike Savoie and , once again, had a fantastic experience. The initial estimate process was incredibly fast. They were very good about getting what they needed and getting me on my way. The parts came in quickly and they finished the truck in a few days. Everything was super fast and efficient. And my truck looks brand new again! When I came to pick it up, the truck was washed, vacuumed, and detailed inside. Definitely didn't expect that. Again, I can't recommend them enough. The guy in the service department, Patrick is a passive aggressive douche bag, and their pricing is astronomically high. $175 base charge just to look at something even if that piece of the car is in perfect condition. Took the car in 7 months ago and they deemed something fixed, brought it back today with the same problem and they quoted 2 grand to repair it after they charged $600 7 months ago and said it was fixed. Came in here two weeks ago because I was looking at car leases for my upcoming move. Walked in with my parents and nobody helped us initially. A gentleman came by and asked if we had been helped, and we said no. He then found a salesperson, and as she was walking over to us she said "oh, I didn't know. I thought they had already been helped." Anyway, we sat down with her and talked about what I was looking for. While she was very kind during our meeting, the after communication is when it went downhill. I am planning to move to a different state, and I had some questions regarding this process as I have never done this before. Her most recent email basically told me to go elsewhere to look for a car. I was just trying to get as much information as possible before committing myself to a lease. As someone who has never done this before, perhaps I was naive in thinking that these individuals would be helpful. I would have just appreciated if she told me that she did not know all the answers, rather than trying to push me out just because i was unwilling to hand money over. Service Department excessive costs. Took my 2009 corvette in for service as the diagnostic codes were on regarding the air intake. They charged me $850 to diagnose the problem, put in a new air filter and another small part. The parts were a total of around $200. I feal this was grossly over priced. Will not go there again. read more

I was ready to lease a car TODAY. I told them exactly which 2 vehicles I wanted to look at. I was literally going to just pick one and sign. I have no patience for long, BS dealership sales processes, so tried making it as easy as possible for them. I show up there and it takes a half hour for the salesperson to even get me into the first car, which he had to look for all throughout the lot. This was bad, but it only got worse from there. The second car was in a lot 2 miles away and, when we got there, the battery in the car was dead so I couldn't see any of the features. As soon as we got back to the dealership, I left. I was going to give them a sale that required minimal effort, and they still managed to mess it up by giving NO effort. read more

Was insulting basically everything I did while I was making sure I was smart and happy with my purchase. Wasn't reasonable on anything for trying to fluctuate the price to be more favorable. Really didn't have the best experience with them this week. Made an appointment for 3 o'clock to check out the brakes for Wednesday. And was told they wouldn't look at them because it was too late for them in the day, even though when I made the appointment I wrote that in the email. Was told they need a full day to look over the car, which is fine not the end of the world. Just kinda annoying having to go after you make a appointment just to be told you need to make another one. I dropped it off before work this morning (had to find rides to and from work and did not offer a shuttle or rental or any help at all). I get quoted 1,300 dollars for new brakes for all four tires, an oil change, and to fix a bent rim on one of the tires. I don't drive anything fancy it's a 2017 Malibu, a very common car. I was in shock when I got that price. That is ridiculous, they sent me an invoice saying what the money was going towards and about 60% of the bill was going to just labor cost. I get that is how they pay their employees, but that is ridiculous for all that work. For that price I expect a lot more issues. I decide not to get back tire breaks done and my bill goes down to $622 magically. I still wasn't happy about it, but I paid it. I was annoyed with the situation, but not enough to complain really. Until after I start my car and start to drive off I left a little bounce back when I shifted it into drive. I look out the my back window and see a little pole and wouldn't you know they backed my car in to light pole... It wasn't bad damage, but come on, you charge an arm an a leg to get my car fixed and after you back it into a pole? Seriously? They didn't offer anything besides to puff it out, and after they did that it still had a scratch on it. read more

I went to Mike Savoie Service to get my leased car leather seats replaced since the paint was worn out after a year. After they replaced my car seats I noticed some scratches on the plastic seat sides, like someone took sand paper and rubbed it vigorously. I reported this to management and they attempted to buff it out and fix it so it's not as noticeable. I also wanted some.body work done at thr collision center, but the manager Rob was rude and kept telling me that I would be better off to not get the work done and it's a waste of his time. He kept postponing my service date, first telling me it was going to be 1 1/2 weeks out, then it became 2 1/2 weeks out, then finally 3 weeks out. He never admitted to postponing my service date at the body shop, and after I complained about it to another manager, Jeff called me and said I'm not welcome back to their dealership. I even ordered parts from their dealership and they wouldn't let me pick them up either. Horrible experience and bad management, better to go elsewhere. read more

Visited this dealership with high hopes to purchase a new Blazer (located online/in cash) yesterday only to be met with an extremely poor experience. As both a military (8 members) and GM family (10 members), it seemed there were multiple reasons NOT to sell the car to us. Timing, willingness to coordinate with USAA Bank for payment, accurate use of the GM family number provided (turned out when actually inputted it was nearly $2500 but this dealership used $1500), secondary lot coordination, logistics (this dealer does NOT ship), and honoring of incentives. Following up with a different dealership later the same day, they were willing to work with us in every regard and YES, we bought the same vehicle elsewhere. Being from MI and military myself/home for holidays, I was very disappointed in the lack of willingness to work with us as well as the transparency in selling tactics. I will never return to this dealership and hope to save others the time and disappointment as transparency and integrity are clearly values not prioritized in sales at this dealership. It would be my hope that the GM Corporation takes steps to ensure dealerships are representing their product with honesty, fair treatment of all customers, and good faith. read more

Customers should be aware that the service for oil change only is $80 plus tax and service charge, so total is around $100! Tire rotation is bundled with the oil change even if you don't need it when you are not in the 7500 miles range yet. I was charged around $130 for oil change when I was at 6000 miles from my last service, and when they check one tire pressure(which is 27 because of sudden weather change), they charge $35 plus tax and service. NEGATIVE ONE STAR Between the sales team during my initial purchase (Eric), the body shop and service team my experiences have been a complete failure. During the last 6 months they have had my car in to fix the same electrical issue 5 times and they have had my car for a total of 6 weeks or more. I lost count. Yes, they gave me a less than equivalent loaner, but it doesn't account for the poor service I repeatedly received. Id go for days without hearing from anyone. If I didn't email or call, I probably wouldn't have heard back. I called the general manager (Keith) for assistance and he answered with a poor attitude and I apologized for interrupting him. I made sure your loaner had enough gas in it when I returned it, but the mike savoie team left me with an empty tank. The thing that is most upsetting is that you guys never once apologized and you did NOTHING to make it up to me. The slap in the face was how you left the inside of my car. It smells like a dirty mechanic has been sleeping in it. I don't expect it to be detailed, but you could have returned it to me the way I gave it to you. WORST SERVICE EVER Bob and Brian- You are nice guys, but your follow up skills are terrible. Please go take some up to date customer service classes and learn what it means to provide good service. Horrible experience at Mike Savio Chevrolet. My first experiences were not bad and this review would have been much more positive until I started to get misinformed and talked down to by service reps. I came to the service center on 9-12-17. I had an engine light on and brought it in for service. I also requested an oil change (which included tire rotation). Once I arrived I was informed of an ignition switch recall. I ended up agreeing to getting that service completed as well. They said it should take a day. I was given a courtesy vehicle in the meantime. 9-14-17 at 4:30 pm ( Shop closes at 6) Rachel had called to let me know my car was ready for pick-up. I was in Detroit for work and there was no way I would get there in time with rush hour. 9-15-17 I return to the service shop at around noon to return and pick-up my vehicle. I go to pay for my balance and the girls hand me back my keys. The keys they handed back were the same as the one I had dropped off ( with the recall there should have been a new set of key created) I was then informed on 9-15-17, 2 days after I dropped off my vehicle for service, that they had to order a key. Rachel had told me that they would call when the new keys got in and I could just swing by to pick them up. 9-17: I noticed my car pulling hard to the right, after tire rotation... Talked to "Paul" in the service shop and he didn't seem too concerned. He said "well we can move the tires back for free, but to see why it is pulling would start ya at $59.00." I was upset because of everything happening and asked why they wouldn't look at it for free considering it started to pull after service and after spending over $650.00. Paul said "well we gave you a courtesy car for 2 days!" 9-18-17 - Rachel called and notified that the "key kit" was in. I was confused... Apparently the process never began and that would require an appointment (1 1/2 Hr appointment). After having my car in the shop for 2 full days, and taking time out of work multiple times it became a big inconvenience to have been told the wrong information and make multiple trips. Not only did they misinform me on the pick up of the keys, they ruined my alignment and they were not willing to even look at it -without putting a price on it, and received nasty treatment from "trainer- Paul"... I'm writing this as I sit in a service shop for the FIFTH time this year. I have owned my 2013 Nissan Juke for exactly one year and I bought it from Mike Savoie Chevy. I was reassured by the skeevy sales man (Joe K) that this care was put under a 100 point inspection and is just as good as Certified Pre- Owned. Within three months of buying the car I was getting is towed due to the wrong transmission fluid being put into the car. After asking Mike Savoie to cover the cost of this plus my rental they very rudely threw half of the transmission flush costs at me and told me I should be happy with that. From there my transmission has broken down on me two additional time, the batter connection failed as well as many other issues. When I called to talk about the lemon they sold me- Dave from used cars essentially told me, "Sorry about your luck, I can sell you another car if you want." Needless to say, I should have trusted my gut with the crap sales team and non certified pre-owned. I can't wait to unload this lemon and warn the world to stay away from this incredibly poorly run dealership. read more

My experience with this dealership was not pleasant from the very beginning. The salesman Jeff (used car department) was very condescending. I went through the entire process just to have this dealership tell me they will not accept my financial institution, CHASE BANK. Although I understand dealers can do business with whomever they choose. It was a complete waste of time. They did not have a valid reason whatsoever. I called my bank and found out they're choosing not to work with chase. Also, I specifically asked the car salesman NOT to run my credit because I had already been approved for over the asking price of the vehicle. He ran a "soft inquiry" anyway. I do not appreciate at that at all because my credit took a big hit. I do not care if it comes off in 30 days. Felt like I should update my review. The repair shop attached to it is awful. Every worker there is extremely rude. Let me empathize, EVERY worker. There is one man in particular at the desk that is extremely rude to everyone and I see most people leaving in a huff after talking to him. For a simple oil change, at any other dealership would be around 2 hours on the longer side, they told me I'd be lucky to get it by the end of the day. Why is that the case? Very disappointed with the salesperson I spoke with about a new 2017 Camaro lease. When I went in to test drive he seemed too busy to talk ("sorry you got me on a busy day")....so my husband and I test drove it and he did nothing but take my contact information. When he did not call me to follow up, I contacted him asking for a quote. He gave me an absurd monthly lease payment and when I questioned it, he explained with that residual value, and it not being considered a "core" vehicle (??), the price is high. I was beyond disappointed thinking I have to rethink my options. When I explained my experience to my corporate purchasing director, he told me that did not sound right....he found another dealership that has quoted $270 LESS monthly payment and will absorb the last payment on my lease. This review pertains directly to the body shop repairs for a vehicle: I brought in a vehicle after a minor deer collision, and little did I know getting the car fixed correctly was going to be such a challenge. Kevin, the body shop manager, assured me that the Acura dealer across the street gives them a lot of work, and they fix Acura cars all the time. He had plenty of positive, no-nonsense things to say about their work ethic, and I was sold on his pitch. I left my car for them to do the work on, and felt pacified, temporarily. About a week later, I picked up my car late in the day and paid my insurance deductible. The next morning, in some good light, I realized not all is what it seemed. The hood molding was an entirely different color than the rest of the grille(a complete mismatch), the body lines were still askew (obvious to the eye, very badly), there were paint drips and imperfections on the bumper and hood, and some plastic parts that we SPECIFICALLY discussed replacing that were damaged were still on the vehicle and not replaced or repaired. I was amazed that the vehicle was released in this condition, and even shocked, that the quality control was THIS poor. When I called back to ask what the deal was with the "repairs", Kevin hadn't even done a once over on the vehicle to inspect the "craftsmanship" (or lack thereof) on the car. I brought the car back a few days later, and they gave me a loaner (how kind.... you could have given me a loaner the first time too, then, eh?). Go-around number two went about like the first, this was off, that was off. At this point, they seemed to be taking short cuts just to "wrap up" the vehicle and get it done and out the door. The same lines, indicated on the last visit, do not line up (and I wasn't surprised). "We didn't call the insurance company for X thing, or Y thing".... Oh... really.... so you're eating the cost and I'm eating the quality of the work? Folks, don't take your car here for car body repair or any collision damage. I expect awesome results, if they are promised. Mike Savoie Chevrolet promised, failed, failed again, and I will not recommend them for any body work for as long as I am making recommendations. It is a waste of your time to enter into a contract with them, and they won't deliver, anyways. read more

When I walked into Mike Savoie Chevrolet two weeks ago, all four salesmen at their desks essentially ignored me. After I finally made eye contact with one of them, he quickly made it known that he was disinterested in helping me and told me to come back on Monday. I told him that I needed to finalize a sale that day, as I had recently lost my car in a flood and needed a new car as soon as possible. However, he continued to curtly tell me that they were understaffed and aggressively motioned for me to leave. Aggravated, I finally quipped, "I guess we're just going to have to go somewhere else because you've been extremely rude!" As I walked out, not a single staff member followed up with me or chimed in to help calm the situation. Now, I'm not one to play the race or gender card, but being a minority female and walking into Mike Savoie Chevrolet was not a good idea in retrospect. I hate looking for a new car. I hate it I hate it I hate it. I hate the feeling of pushiness that sometimes comes with it, but I also don't have a haggling bone in my body, so I always feel like I'm being fleeced. I went to four dealerships the day I went out to just get my fingers on the pulse of the pricing that's available for the car I've been eying (Sonic hatchback), and the reason I ended up coming back here the next day and leasing is because of Joan. Joan is awesome. Joan was helpful without being pushy and found what I was looking for in a car that fit my budget. I came in having an idea of what I wanted, she listened to me, and while she made suggestions along the way, I never felt like what I originally came in for was being overlooked or forgotten. If anything she was supportive of me making up my own mind, which I really appreciated. Basically, Joan's the best, and the service I received at the dealership could not have been better. If all car shopping endeavors were this enjoyable, I never would have hated it hated it hated it so. read more

I purchased a CERTIFIED vehicle and two months/2,000 miles later I took it back in for brake inspection because the brakes were screaching 3 days after purchase and then intermittently thereafter. The service guy said I needed to spend $450 on brake pads and machining the rotors. I was totally dismayed when I asked how could it pass inspection if the pads were only going to last another 2,000 miles? The answer "Sorry, but it passed inspection at the time and I can't comment on the way you drive." Everyone is out to make a buck and this dealer is no different. I should have at least gotten some sort of discount since I hadn't even own the car more than two months! Very disappointed and I would warn all others not to shop here. Great purchase and service at this dealer. I've been having my 2014 Silverado serviced here, and while there's really been nothing major wrong with it, they have always delivered on time and done the work right. So when it was time for a new lease, I tried this dealer first. Salesman Tom Strace worked really hard on my deal - spending 2 days looking for more programs, discounts, etc. At the end of the day, I got by far the best deal I've ever had (and I have bought dozens of new cars) on any vehicle, ever. Tom is a top guy, and I really like this dealer. Top marks for both sales and service from these guys. Highly recommended. read more

My vehicle was smashed from the rear while sitting at a red light. My insurance company (Progressive) recommenced this dealership and WOW. From the beginning to end, a seamless experience. For starters, I have a 8 month old baby so time is the essence of everything I do, so with them knowing this, they made drop off easy, professional and mostly (during this COVID-19 time) safe. The gentleman I dealt with Robert, was EXCEPTIONAL. And I don't say that lightly, as I am in the hospitality industry myself. He initially told me the repair would take approximately 10 days (which it did) and when it was ready he called and sent a text to let me know. However, on the Friday it was done, I informed him (via voicemail) the timing would be cutting it close as I was assisting my mother with something and instead of allowing me to stress, 10 minutes later I received a text stating 'Megan, it's Robert from Mike Savoie. Please don't rush to get here. Your rental has been extended till Monday. Let me know if you have any issues'-He handled the whole ordeal for me! The rental and all! Which was such a huge help considering how hectic of a day I was having. Now on to the repair aspect. Fantastic! Seriously, I didn't expect perfect and yet that's exactly what I got! I'm a pretty critical person and will say something if something looks off or wrong but nope! Everything looked perfect! And lastly, on top of all of that, my car was returned back to me cleaner than it was when I dropped it off! Such a pleasant experience!
