Incompetent and poor mgmt !!! 1st experience a few years ago transmission was drained instead of oil i had to pay dealership to fix as they said the tech could do it and refused to take it to dealer. This time around it took 45min to say your tires are to worn to patch(not a problem, i understand) car was in bay for at least half of that time. I told desk girl it shoudlnt take 45 min to measure tread depth and it hurt her feelings. She quit talking when said give me my keys, real tire pro. As i was leaving and tech was removing wrong wheel and had wrong work ticket attached to my vehicle, he thought I was getting 4 new tires. They couldn't give me tires at this point. Good service nice people, easy to work with. Had work done on my truck several times. Happy with everything done by them.

They won't try to screw you for a few dollars. Had another shop want to charge me for a new intake filter. Mike Smith showed me it was still in good shape, just needed a little debris blown out. The other shop wanted to charge $260 to change only one side of the brakes which is a no-no. For about the same price these guys had both sides done. The girl who helped me was Destiny - she was soooo nice and knew what she was talking about. She won my business. read more

I have used Mike Smith for the last 3 years. My girl friend now dives from Houston so they can work on her Explorer. Honesty at its best, they quoted us on a complete brake job. When we picked the Explorer up the price owed was much less than the quote. I asked why? They said after further investigation the work needed was not near what they had quoted. I brought my Kia Sorento in to get new tires and an alignment. I mentioned it was making a clunking sound and I had just had it in the shop at Happy Kia For a week a month before. Lucas was great and actually found several bolts loose under the hood that I think have been loose since I had the engine replaced from the recall (Kia in Conroe did that). That's terrifying that I've been driving around with loose bolts on multiple things and not one mechanic has noticed it before. He tightened them for me and they didn't even charge me for that. Took our new car in to have a flat fixed and rotate tires. After picking it up we found some small damage to the rear bumper that was not there when we left it. No technicians would even admit to working on it. That should give you a clue. I was told the property video did not show the damage was done there. I always enjoyed the time there because of their friendly, fast, and of course professional service! I did tire rotation on my last visit and this time it's my annual safety inspection. Both took less than 20 minutes. What's more important is that they hired a cutieee with orange long hair as one of their receptionists who would always welcome you the moment you walk in and sit on your side or your lap if you let him, and calm down your worried nerves and send you away with his cuteness still in your mind. :) read more

My car wouldn't start, I called Mike Smith Tire pros, described the problem and they said they could fix it no problem. I paid to have the car towed to them. A day later they told me the car needed a new timing chain, it would cost over $5k and they wouldn't fix it because it was too much work. I would have to pay, again, to have it towed somewhere else because they wouldn't tow it for me, even after they had cost me a tow to them. I took it to another shop, they found the problem and fixed it for less than $400. It wasn't the timing chain or even close. If you want new tires or just an oil change from Mike Smith Tire pros then fine, take your chances. If you need a real mechanic, I would recommend taking it to someone who knows what they are doing. I won't ever be using them again. read more

If I could give it one star I would. Disorganized, no competitive prices (same as ALL other places), and all the inside employees did was complain and were rude while I waited; bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. read more

Exceptional service! My husband had a screw in his tire and was loosing air quickly at 5:50pm on a Friday. He didn't want to go to Walmart right across from our house, and the only place we saw open was Mike Smith Tire Pros, but for 10 more minutes. I called and spoke with Jessie Smith who was extremely understanding and calm and told me to tell my husband to come on in and he even set up a ticket over the phone so that my husband was ready to go when he got there. With 5 minutes before they close, they gladly took my husbands truck and fixed the screw issue extremely quick. They don't know this but they have gained our family as customers now! You would expect employees dying to go home 5 minutes before close, and maybe being frustrated, but instead they were thankful for our business and welcoming to take us! Wow!! read more

We love this tire shop and recommend it to all our friends. The main reason is their service is just above and beyond what we expected. The very first time we came in was because of a nail in our tire and they repaired it for free because we were new customers. It was just a really nice gesture and made us feel loyal to them. The front desk staff is really kind and friendly and the waiting area is always clean with kid-friendly toys. They're prices have always been fair and they've always explained the repairs very well to us. Mike, the owner, is retired military and Derrick who runs the place always is friendly and remembers us. We bring all our vehicles here for all the repairs they need and recommend (not just tires) them to our neighbors and friends. We've lived in cities all over the US and have seen all levels of customer service, and these guys do business the right way. read more

Every time I have been in this shop the staff has tried to take advantage of me. This was done to me 12 years ago at this shop but I decided to try it again. And again, they scared me into thinking something was seriously wrong with my tires and tried to pressure me into spending $1000 to get new tires today. After talking with my husband and my father I realized that they were just trying to make an easy sale.
