She's getting all of our service business after the truck left me high and dry on the side of the road after the fuel pump control module went out on me! Chevrolet has an ongoing problem with that particular module and they have been replacing them as a defective part. I called my dealer as it happened on a Saturday. They were still open, but were closing in 20 minutes. I told the guy that answered in service what had happened. He didn't even ask my name or phone number and asked me to call back Monday morning!!! I left a message with the Donaldson Service right after. They were closed on Saturday, but Jana called me the first thing right after they opened on Monday morning! She told me what I needed to do and BAM!!! I had my truck in the service department and out by 1:30pm!!! read more

very disappointed of this place 1- i ask about a truck they have posted on CarGurus and we have an appointment set up for my come and look at the truck , I drove 2 hrs to get to this place and and 10 min before I got there they call me to let me know that the truck wasn ready yet because they were making sure everything was" ready to test drive" I got there one person help me and he was straight up honest with me and told me you can see the truck but you can't drive it. and I ask why and his response was " truck is in the shop " so long story short. truck was in the shop with parts of the def and eye system pull apart if you know little bit about diesel you know what that means. they call me Tuesday saying the truck wasn't ready yet . today 8/13/2025 they call saying the truck was ready. and sonnets I told them that I was gonna come checked it out they rise the price 7-8k . stay away from this place read more

These guys sold me a piece of junk back in 2020. Two weeks after purchasing a 2018 chevy I had to replace a rotor. 2 years later the transmission needed to be replaced. 3 years in the AC had two major leaks and did not function. I would avoid these guys, will take advantage of you. read more

i recently purchased a new GMC Canyon, my 4th from this dealership. I gave them my check on a Saturday. My credit score is over 750 and they got me a loan for 7%! On Sunday, I saw a tv ad for Donaldson with an interest rate of 0.9%. No one at the dealership even mentioned may I should wait a couple of days. Not only have I purchased 4 vehicles there I also use the service department. Apparently, they do not think much of my business, so I will NOT be purchasing any more vehicles at that dealership. read more

My 87 year old mother bought a replacement key fob for $211. They called us when it came in. All of a sudden there was an $89 programming fee. We were surprised and a little upset. You could tell from the women's faces who worked there, suddenly cold and uncaring, that they were used to this kind of thing. Know what I mean? That's normal. That's how they roll. read more

This dealership did a great job! My 2019 GMC Sierra was broken down in Nederland and I needed to get it towed to a dealership. I called several dealerships close to my location and after going through automated answering service, neither of them could look at my truck for several days, despite me asking due to being from out of town. Luckily I called Donaldson GMC Auto group in Silsbee and a human answered the phone, Janna Weatherspoon went above and beyond. I had my truck towed to their location Thursday end of day. Jana called me the next morning by 9am with an update and diagnosis. They had the part and my truck was fixed by 11am and I was back on the road. I made the drive all the way from Fort Polk, LA and this dealership made it worth the trip. Very friendly salesmen, and great financing through the dealership. I worked with Lee Fox and Mike Garlaska and I will definitely be a return customer when it's time for my wife to trade in her vehicle. I'll be in Fort Benning, GA by then but you had better believe I will be making the 12 hour drive back to this dealership for their outstanding service. It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had. They absolutely listened to what I was looking for and didn't waste my time. Cowboy was deceptive about my paperwork. I didn't purchase the vehicle until 11-28-14, but they dated my invoice for 11-20-14. Not one word was mentioned about this change. It was supposedly dated from the first look at a vehicle. I think that is reprehensible. I am sorry I purchased this vehicle from them, and if I had it to do over. I would not buy the GMC Acadia from them. I probably would not buy a GMC... period. read more

We purchased an Enclave from this dealership 2 years ago. We have had to bring it back a couple of times fir only minor repairs. Yesterday, the check engine light appeared as I went to work. I called the Buick dealership here in our town, to ask if they could check it out, only to be told to bring it in, I could leave it, and they would try to get to it today, if not I'd have to leave it to maybe be ready by tomorrow. I called Cowboy and asked if they could check it, to be told to bring it in early afternoon, and they would take care of it. I got there at the appointed time, and I did not make it through an entire magazine article only to be hold that my car was ready. It took me longer to drive up there than fir them to fix it! Wonder why I will return for another other purchase when needed---yes!! read more

Access is hampered by lack of/clear signage on service road in front of dealership. Made an appointment but technician that signed me in at bay didn't have a clue who I was or why I was there. Had to ask where waiting area was and had to hunt for my car after it was done even after I returned inside and inquired where it was parked no one offered any assistance just said "it is parked out by the service area". This was my first experience with this service department and probably my last. All in all not the level of customer service I receive at other GM dealerships. read more
