I had a bathroom faucet leak that a friend couldn't help me with after all, so I called Mike the Plumber and got excellent work done. My vanity had been damage from a previous leak so I wanted to replace it. I happen to ask the plumber if he can change it and he said yes. I was surprised he said yes because I was going to just have him fix the valve so I could shut off my water. I'm very happy that the job was done for me. I'm enjoying the new vanity and no water leaks. I will continue to use this company. read more

I really hate to give Mike a negative review seeing he has 5 stars and was a really nice guy, but I really felt like he did not take care of me like he should have. In hindsight, I should have read the "not recommended" reviews, because someone had a similar experience to this! I contacted him to go to a home that I was purchasing to camera the sewer line as well as give me an estimate on some other things. We called around and most plumbers quoted $150 for camera inspection, and Mike quoted $100 (which he now denies), so we went with him. Everything went great, we made the appointment, and my realtor showed up at 9AM - when we scheduled. Around 9:15AM, Mike called me and said he would be late. Long story short - my realtor waited until 10:30AM for Mike to arrive. After was all said and done, my realtor gave Mike his email for the report. Three days later and no word. We absolutely needed the report today to give to the sellers for repair request - as we had deadlines. Three phone calls from myself and a couple from my girlfriend have not been returned. Three emails were never returned. My realtor never heard from him either. So, 4 days later I had my realtor call him. Mike simply said he had been too busy to get back to us! My realtor tells him that we NEED those estimates and he asks my realtor what exactly he did at the house... because he did not remember! He typed out a page of "suggestions" and sent it to my realtor. His suggestions did not include two things that I needed quotes on, just saying that he suggests a new sewer line - and an invoice for $250! $250 for that? Four days after the fact and he said that he did not even remember what he looked at, OR what he quoted, OR what exactly he was supposed to even be assessing, really. He then tried to say that he gave our realtor the quotes and assessments, which is not true. When my girlfriend received the report from our realtor, she called Mike for quotes, he told us "it's going to be expensive!" REALLY! My realtor said that Mike told him that replacing 8 foot of sewer line would exceed $10,000! HAHA, OK! We still needed price quotes for the other two things that we requested. My realtor had to remind him what he had told him during the camera diagnosis of the sewer line. After the appointment, my realtor assured us that Mike had a large report AND EXPLANATION OF WHAT EXACTLY HAD TO BE DONE, AND a copy of the VIDEO he took of the line. There wasn't a detailed report (he forgot!) or a video for us, the customers, to look at. The invoice we received really didn't even explain a whole lot! I was quote obvious that he completely forgot, as our realtor had to tell him what to write! We did not even get a diagram of our sewer line (WHICH WAS IMPORTANT!!!!!). He told our realtor that the sewer line had a T junction, which could be problematic. WHERE?!? That's sort of IMPORTANT!?! So, no photos of the inside, NOTHING. Just "it had a couple low spots." WHERE? WHAT PART? HOW LOW? And every other plumber that we spoke to, also provided a DVD or SD card copy of the video inspection. Mike did not provide one. So, 6 days later and still no price figures. We are now overdue with our RR report for the seller, we have real NO price quote (which was the prime reason we asked Mike to check the lines, PVC piping, and swamp cooler). How do you give a price quote to the seller, when there isn't any? We asked Mike one last time, if he can hold up his end and send us the report. Day 7, nothing. Not shocking. All I can say is that I am sorry that I wasted my time with Mike. He doesn't understand the meaning of professionalism. He lacks professional file-keeping and has no real systems in place for getting quotes out, calling customers back to consult with his findings, and simply doesn't seem to care. He turns a cold shoulder to clients, and in turn lost a pretty big job because I liked him and would have chose him. Now we have to look elsewhere, and do this all over again with a different plumber. All Mike left us with, was the obvious (we knew the sewer line was problematic, hence calling you), and a LOT of unanswered questions. ...and he wants $250 for this "service" that he provided!?! This time Tim came to our house to fix the leaking toilet that I tried in vain to fix. Tim came to do the job, on time, and spent 2 hours repairing the toilet and removing the dishwasher that I no longer use. Huge RAVE for Mike the Plumber! Water heater bit the dust Friday. Called that evening, spoke to Mike. He said he would be over btw 11 and 1. Was here promptly at 11. Confirmed water heater was dead(13+ years) and said he could be back Monday morning with a new one. He and his coworker, Nick were friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. I recently had Mike do a job for me. I felt that I was overcharged for the work performed by asking other plumbing companies. I sent Mike a text with my complaint and he contacted me and made things right. They were quick to get out to my house, they were out the next day after I called, it was not an emergency so 1 day is good. They performed the work quickly and right and said they have a 1 year warranty on their work. I gave 4 out of 5 because I felt I was overcharged. But like I said they made it right. read more

I had a very large oven delivered to my property and they not only spent the time to help me covert it (when no one else would), they even came back when that oven proved to be a dud to help me with my new one. I needed a water softener installed, and Tim and his crew did an outstanding job. They had to tunnel underneath a concrete slab to install the pipes. They were very careful about disturbing the landscape. When they were finished, you couldn't tell that anything was done, and Tim left the site cleaner and in better condition than before. The water softener works great. The price was reasonable, too, considering how much work was involved. Hats off to Tim, who is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Last night my husband noticed our toilet with leaking. He got up this morning went to home depot and bought the parts needed to fix the leak. Well after trying to fix we realized we needed a plummer. We called Mike the plummer and they were able to fit us in between 12 and 2 the same day! Tim was the gentleman that came out and had it fixed in about 2 min. Sad to see Mike the Plumber sink so low. We have a minor leak in a shower head. We called and waited a week for a plumber to arrive. We requested Tim, who has been our go-to plumber for years. 2 1/2 hours after the appointment time, a plumber showed up- not Tim. He did not have a mask on, but told me he was vaccinated. He came in, looked at the shower head and said it would be $209 for the visit, then he would give us an estimate, then fix it if he had the parts. I was expecting the $90 visit fee that we had always been charged, so I called The office and the lady there said they raised their prices. I told her she had a duty to inform me when I booked the appointment that their prices had gone up significantly, that we are on fixed income and that increase makes a difference. Anyway, we chose to suck it up and get it fixed, so we went out and told the plumber to get his mask on and then fix it. He said he didn't have a mask. We offered him a mask and he said, "I'm leaving." And he drove away! Covid cases are surging here and he refuses to do a repair b/c he doesn't want to wear a mask?? Outrageous. Selfish. I called the office and told the lady that her plumber was leaving without doing the repair even though we offered him a mask. Wow. I will never, ever call Mike the Plumber again and am deleting their number from my contact list as soon as I post this review. Very disappointing. read more

Friendly plumber, but I would consider overpriced. I was charged $140.00 to snake a kitchen sink drain. The worse part of the experience is that work was commenced before offering an estimate or proposed amount for what the charges would be. This is not professional in my opinion, and my hope is that this would be corrected. If you select this company, make sure you get an estimate prior to work proceeding, unless you have an endless supply of money. read more
