After 6000 miles, which started in CA, I took it to change the oil in Asheville, NC and was told that they wouldn't do the job since I needed a new valve cover gasket. I knew I had a small leak but figured I might as well get it done. Shortly thereafter, I found myself in Lexington for a week and decided to get the gaskets changed. Being new to the area, I went to Yelp, and after two or three calls, I spoke with Chad of Lee's Auto and explained what I wanted. He asked all the right questions, which I expected he should have given I had watched about 7 videos on changing the gasket on a V6 and came up with a good estimate, which gave me an appt for the next Monday. Nevertheless, I was apprehensive when I took it in, and he had it done before lunch and stuck to the estimate. While driving it back after the change, I smelled the usual oil fumes and hoped they would go away the next day when I was to leave for PA. It did, and we are back on the road. This is to say that Chad did a bang-up job, with very little social interaction and just straight-up professionalism. Thank you, Chad, for helping us continue our journey.

had an oil leak on my lexus, brought it in for new valve cover, lady at the front desk insisted i…read moreneeded new spark plugs despite them operating perfectly fine. i told her not to just go ahead and install them but to wait for the technician to address if it was necessary in the first place and to call me before i gave them the greenlight to install an additional $112 worth of parts (likely an additional $100 at least in labor costs for a 6 cylinder like this). they did not call me at all until the job had been completed, completely disregarded my request and proceeding to charge me for it. not only that but when i arrived to pick up the car the had added an array of additional charges and labor charges to the itemized receipt, including a charge for tightening ALTERNATOR bolts, new coolant hosing, and new bolts from apparently cross threading (this car has only been worked on professionally). some of these charges had absolutely nothing to do with the maintenance i had brought the car in for. the validity of these charges comes off to me as a predatory means of squeezing more money out of customers (something the auto mechanic world is infamous for). based on principle alone i cant stand for this and I wont be returning

Gene, went above and beyond to save me money on replacing the back axle of jeep (that I no longer have but dearly miss). Donna, is incredible and what a lot people fail to realize, this lady does the clerical work and jumps in to help out in the garage, I have seen people team her over coals - not knowing that she is busting her tail, just as much as a man does. I like to consider myself, an honest person and going after someone as hard working as her - really sets me on fire!! These people bust their hard-working tails off to provide the best auto service in the City of Waynesboro, so show them respect please. This is not pointed to everyone, just those (I don't know other customers may be going through - but an ounce of kindness is good for the soul). At CMA's Valley Subaru in Staunton, VA, we not only found the Forester to have the optimal clearance and height and all-around accessibility, but also recognized this dealership took our needs to heart. Sales specialist Remy Duguet was well-versed in Subaru's reliability and safety record. Given his knowledge of each model's specs, he made it easier to decide which best met our needs, going out of his way time and again to ensure the Forester would work for us. He was responsible and followed up at every turn. We highly recommend Remy and believe he reflects the Subaru culture and values as does the dealership. This has been a very positive car purchase and trade-in experience.

CMA's Valley Subaru is the worst. Long story short I had to…read morehave my vehicle towed from my house to their location in Staunton because I had zero hydraulic fluid and my 2022 Outback obviously wouldn't allow me to drive it without causing catastrophic damage because of it built-in failsafes and protection system. It arrives at CMA's Valley Subaru and they look over it for about an hour then call me to recommend I need to have a $14,000 transmission replacement!? WTF?? The mechanic drove it after filling the hydraulic reservoir for 6 miles stating "harsh clunking in between gear changes and jerking". My other option told to me by their service team was to trade it in or sell it to them. They then tried to push the fear factor saying that they "don't know how long it'll last if I don't have a new transmission right now". I said there's no way I'm doing either of those recs and will pick it up immediately to see for myself how "bad" it was. After spending $500 for "diagnostics and hydraulic fluid" I got my car back and was anticipating the worst. Nothing. Normal. Immediately went on the interstate and pushed it after feeling comfortable about my suspicions that they only wanted me to trade in my perfectly running vehicle OR pretend to install a transmission, essentially stealing $14,000 from me. I can 100% say without a doubt that it's still running normally, like nothing happened and this is why I can also safely say that CMA's Valley Subaru are liars and people who will try to swindle you out of thousands of dollars that, in my situation, would be life altering. They prey on people who blindly take their advice and who think they won't see shit for themselves. Any issues you have in the valley with your Subaru, DO NOT go there. You will get scammed harder than the Prince of Phukastan wanting a ransom for your nonexistent nephew named Yuwilgit Phukd. DON'T DO IT.
