Very disappointed. Lied. Said they would fix our vehicle right away but it was there for a month. Over-charged and two weeks later vehicle broke down and had to be towed home. Called Mike the owner was rude and dismissive and did not want to rectify the situation. Zero concern that the vehicle was non-working after their repairs. If they did not have the skills to do the job correctly, they should have said right at the start. They refused to refund the money and I would never recommend them to anyone. Do not trust them and do not take your vehicle there you will regret it. read more

I could do some of my own repairs but rarely get the time to cause of my busy lifestyle with family and work. I now rely on Mike's due to the fact that he's honest, genuine, and trustworthy. I brought my 95 4Runner to Mike after trying to chase down a problem myself with no luck. I was not in a hurry as this is my 2nd car, so I told him to take a week if he needed to. I got my car back in 3 days - which was fine. Like i said, I gave a week. They found a list of small issues that wound up looking like one big issue. They fixed all of the areas they discovered and noted a couple of things to look out for. It's a 25 year old Toyota - There will be other issues. Mike was friendly, informative and professional. Mike is a friendly honest guy who exceeds your expectations when it comes to car repair. He has a small shop with several mechanics working for him and can handle any repair you may need. I recently had the local Chrysler Dealer estimate a repair job at $1300 which seemed a bit high. I found Mike thru Cars.com and he estimated the job at $650. two days later the car was done. He had to replace a broken engine mount so the bill was a bit higher but I save a bundle on the job. Highly recommended. read more

One of the best services he provides is doing an overall check of your vehicle every time it's in there. He has found legitimate problems that we weren't even aware of. We were referred to Mike's by a new friend. We had hope that this place would do right by us. They did a brake job on our Corolla; when we left the wheels wobbled badly but they said that was normal. Just took the car to another shop recommended by our smog guy. They said that was NOT normal; they said the brakes were terrible and fixed them. Mike's is bar none the best automotive repair shop in town. Mike is always friendly and extremely honest about work schedules and prices. He will let you know what parts are available and from where, as well as giving you options on what may be done. Best of all, when the job is done Mike will usually lay out the faulty parts if possible to show you what went bad and where. This gives me great confidence in him and his capable mechanics. Mike was recommended to me by Les Schwab for a front axle issue with my truck. The front end would vibrate at turns and make noise. Mike's technician worked on it for a few hours, finally determining that the left hub was not disengaged. It took a significant amount of "influence" to get it released. This could have cost me a lot of money elsewhere (I had a couple estimates in the 4 figure range). Parts and labor $492 out the door at Mikes! I've had it there twice since, with the same results - FAIR and no cutting corners! He even told me when I didn't need any repairs (That's a big deal these days)! My truck is diesel, which he doesn't do, but Mike gets any other work without hesitation! read more

Mikes Automotive Perfection is as it states " Perfectionists" a brake job He did a year ago has had a problem with the caliper piston sticking (many miles have gone by since the work was done) & his shop replaced the piston & the disc pads.
