Excellent knowledge of automotive systems as well as great customer service. there was an issue with my NPP/dual tone exhaust not working on my Corvette after having engine modifications completed at another shop in town. That shop was unable to find the cause. I took the car to Integrity Automotive; they diagnosed the system, discovered the cause of the problem and came up with a solution that is working great. Brian kept me updated on what he found and what he wanted to do to correct the problem. Because this was a "one off" repair it was impossible to give me a firm quote as to what it would cost to correct. He gave me a "guesstimate" of what he felt it would cost, and, in the end, he was very close. I never felt like I was going to be surprised, which is a good thing! I'm going to let you decide. based on two recommendations and reading about Tim(owner) I took my 65 classic to have gauges installed. I've had trouble with my outside rear view mirror, I discussed this with Tim and covered the mirror with a bag. I picked the car up and the bag was gone and the mirror was adjusted perfectly for a rear view. I mentioned to Tim and he immediately stated that no one in his shop adjusted the mirror. i questioned how did the mirror get adjusted he indicated that maybe the wind blew the bag off and someone bumped the mirror. Now that's the story. The car had been driven and I suspect the driver took the bag off and adjusted the mirror to be able to view. I'll point out it is extremely hard to drive the car with no side mirrors. so I really get upset when my choice and trust has been destroyed. I call back and Brian answered on a phone that continua breaks up(frustrating the heck out of me) and then asks who's calling? I did politely ask to speak with Tim and he says not without you telling me who is calling and hangs up. As a follow up Tim tells me I have other issues, not his shop. So along with the explanation it's yout call. You choose what the real story is. When told no one adjusted the mirror common sense says other wise. No integrity here, in my opinion. The mirror on this car is almost impossible to replace. GM only produced this in 65. To adjust my mirror risks the internal breaking. The work performed was new control arms, and brakes for a 2007 ML 350. Work was done timely and done well. It is like driving a new car. The estimate given is what was charged. He took it to the alignment shop for me so that when I picked the car up from him, it was ready for the road. Made appointment to look at some basics for our "new" car (1969 Dodge Dart). Dropped it off with a much longer list than originally communicated. Brian took care of everything on the list including tune-up, changed fluids, added electric fan controller, adjusted carb to pass smog. I was having a weird problem with my car. My battery that was only a year or so old kept going dead. So, I had kept these guys in mind based on a past experience with them. Anyway, what ended up being the problem was that the battery was faulty. They took care of it inside one day for me. They even got my battery replaced for free from the place where I got it from in the first place. Took my '71 FJ 40 here to replace the instrument panel with a Dakota Digital retrotech replacement. When I got it back, it wasn't calibrated, the gas gauge didn't work, the screws popped out of the panel because it wasn't seated correctly, and it immediately drained my battery. Just took her to a new shop only to hear that "the wiring is routed all weird and not even hooked up correctly." The word used to describe it was "janky." Not happy with Integrity Automative at all, will not be taking it back there, ever. read more

Decided to try this repair shop based on the reviews I found here on Yelp. I found them to be as honest and skilled as identified herein. I brought my car in for repair because I couldn't get to the past myself without excessive frustration. They did the repair for me, using the past I provided and only charged me for a half hour of labor. They can handle most anything, except diesels and Auto body. This is a mechanic to tell your friends and family about - I already have. We've taken him a 65 Mustang, 32 Hupmobile and 93 Suburban - on every occasion the bill was right on target (or even less), the work done exceptionally fast (replaced a tranny in less than 48 hours) and the work is COMPLETELY backed. If you have questions the mechanic that work on your ride is readily available to talk to you, which is unheard of at some places (try talking to your Dealership mechanic - it's simply not allowed). OK, This just never happens... with these guys, the name says it all! They are really Integrity! Our poor Subaru was dying a death but we had hopes. They worked on the car all day yesterday to diagnose the issues, then they checked the blue book values and told us this morning - don't fix it - it's not worth it. Then they handed us the car back at no charge. Who does that these days? Most shops charge $180 just to look at the car. Then try to convince you that spending the extra $1500 makes sense... We had a car that wouldn't start, and being relatively new to the Reno area, we've been looking for a shop that we could entrust our cars to. (We have four vehicles). All the shops we've been to have ranged from "never again" to "so-so". These guys took my car in, even though they were busy. Found out they are a family of veterans. I can't thank the owner Tim and his son enough. I had purchased a vehicle at a small used car lot in Reno . It was my first time buying a car that wasn't at a dealership. I was in a car accident and needed a reasonable price vehicle until my law suit was settled. Then I wanted to give this car to my son's . I went in with a certain amount I had to spend. The car lot is family owned and run . The sales person I was talking with and what was listed on paper on sales paper on vehicle showed everything the car had . I was told the previous owner used to be a mechanic for GMC .. He did tell me that the man did redo the suspension but not to original suspension, but he told me this suspension was better . I did test drive the vehicle I did ask even though it said everything worked . I told the salesman I would buy the vehicle knowing they were a family owed business I felt great about my decision. The next day I came back to buy it and I did . After I wanted to make sure a couple things that were important reasons I like this car was that both front and back seats were heated and the vehicle to ride smoothly I also brought a list of things I wanted to check. Then the salesman tells me it's a old car so not everything is going to work. I told him the heated seats were important as I have three boys with brain trauma injuries and they are always cold. I thought I had asked right questions saw the car fax report but mostly trusted this family owned business that if i had any problems I was sure they would take care of them. The next day I had a trip to make to Minden and back . In the highway the car started shaking real bad, so I stop and put air in the tires . It was better but still didn't seem right. Then as I'm pulling into were I live the vehicle starts shutting down and gages are showing the car is over heating. I get it in my garage and noticed anti freeze . I looked in the engine and saw the serpentine belt had ripped and was not attached. The next day I called the salesman to explain and he told me things happen and to let him know after I get it fixed and he would call me and check in . I never received acan't express how betrayed and taken advantage of I felt. I did even know were to take car to get it fixed as we had not lived in Reno very long. Plus I would have to pay to have it towed to a auto shop . I was so upset then a couple people told me about INTEGRITY AUTOMOTIVE . I called and Tim answered I explain what I'd been through and that I did find someone I knew that come to my house and replace the belt but I was worried about other things that might be wrong. Tim was so calm and understanding. He calmed me and said usually people bring cars to him before they buy a vehicle, but in my case he would be more than happy to inspect my vehicle at no charge because that is why he started his auto business. He saw so many people get taken advantage in the auto repair business he wanted his business to be a place people could bring there cars to and get a honest and responsible repair service . Every place I've been to or my friends have there are told they need this or that replaced. When your a single woman or any person that doesn't know about cars , you are a easy target . I took my car to Tim's shop , it was clean and very professional. His son came over introduced himself, than they both told me not to worry they would check everything. After Tim and his son found some things wrong. He explained they didn't need to be fixed right away and he had everything they found with a estimate on the cost of the repairs . They were both so honest , most places I know about kinda let you know but then tell you they need you to bring it back ASAP to be repaired then they can check other things so that way you don't go anywhere else to have the work done . Not here , Tim was honest and never made me feel as though i needed the work done right then . I explain I needed time to save up the money, but I did want to make a apt to have the cars oil change, tires rotated . (I've always had that done every 3000 miles) I would recommend this place to everyone. For the first time in years I have a automotive shop that I know will be honest and not over charge me . I couldn't be more grateful for Tim , with everything I'd been through ( and i apologize for the long story) but I wanted others to know how upset I felt , and to know after all that , when I called Tim he was truly a very caring person and he could have charged me but out of his kindness and a man who prides himself on honesty he actually helped me not feel so bad about buying the vehicle I did .
