We walked in around 3:30 and sat at the almost empty bar, we were starving and looking for somewhere new to try. It took several minutes to even be acknowledged by a staff member after she was done taking pictures of things on the pool table. She saw us but decided to walk away and finish her project before acknowledging us.. Finally got service and I ordered a vodka lemonade. They don't have lemonade surprisingly. So I ordered a vodka pineapple instead. While the bartender was pouring our drinks we grabbed a food menu. When she came back she told me she was out of pineapple juice and that the kitchen wasn't open until 5:30 which would have been nice to know when we first sat down. Ended up leaving without anything due to the service and lack of available mixers and food along with the ashtrays everywhere and people smoking inside. read more

Mike's Bar and Grill is tucked away off of the main roads, and an easy location for everyone to meet. So there we old fogies were, partying like it was 1999! It was a Thursday, and I give it 5 stars. We had a total blast. Our waitress took great care of us. The food, was food, bar food...we didn't have high expectations, and it wasn't why we came. The security at the door was friendly and joked with us. We drank, we danced, and had fun. There were all different ages of people, and different races. I didn't see an unhappy person in the crowd. I travel for work and works nights and when one one my nights got canceled I went here at 1 and google said they close at 3. Everything was cool for about an hour and the bartender was nice and even introduced me to some of the other patrons at the bar and we had good conversations. Then 2 am hit and the bartender said last call which was fine and I closed out my tab and ordered a water. Then people around me started ordering all sorts of shots and "half shots" as they called them to the bartender and were being served while I could not order anything because they called last call a while ago. When I asked why these people around me were being served they told me they work here and that they live here that I needed to leave. I told them that's fine I would leave as people were literally ordering "half shots" behind me because they worked there and that was ok. It was 1/9/24 when all this happened and I'm just want people to know even though this is a small town it's not ok to treat people passing through like this. FYI I tipped about $10 on a $35 tab because the bartender was so cool. The security had told me he asked me for the 3rd time to leave even though it was before closing hours and I was literally drinking water he told me to leave. It was an off duty blonde bartender who I was chatting with most of the night who was there literally escorted me outside telling me that's what they do for the workers is serve them after hours. I told her that was weird because I wasn't causing problems and we were all cool all night but she said I guess we are all weird. In my honest opinion I travel all over the country for work this was a cool bar at first glance but the people are shit and create a shit experience. I was here for about an hour and had 3 beers before last call and bought a shot for a military man that I met here. All in all if was a good bartender who served me drinkshere but shit staff. Bartender was really nice who attended me but the security was an absolute dick for no reason and even the off duty bartender was weird after she escorted me out because I was asking why do all those people get to order drinks and "half shots" when they are telling me I have to leave because they are closed. She told me that's just how it is and shut the door on me. read more

Mike's isn't a bad place. They have live music on the weekend. The food is standard bar fare. The wings are delicious, but the place is just filled with plumes of cigarette smoke. This is a really nice hole in the wall place. You would never guess it was there if you werent looking for it. The DJ that was there played really good music, it wasnt so crowded to where you had to squeeze past people to get to the bar. The orders were delivered in a timely manner. The only reason foe the 3 stars is their set up. The pool tables take up so much space! The dart machine is set up right next to the bathrooms. You're constantly trying to dodge the cue sticks being wielded by the people playing pool and the crowd going into the bathrooms. If you're not careful you'll either get hit with the pool sticks or accidentally injure someone with the darts while you're playing. They need to rethink hoe they use their space. Its was very frustrating trying to have a good time but constantly having to move in a jigsaw-like manner around your area so you dont injure yourself or others. read more

Terrible atmosphere- worst bar experience I have ever personally had. We came in for my birthday, it was my first time. We put quarters in an unused pool table, and immediately guests started going off on us. We didn't realize we had to write our names on a chalkboard to participate-- although no names were on the chalkboard. They verbally attacked us and management did nothing. We brushed it off, enjoyed a couple drinks, which were nice, and the server was nice as well. Later on, although no one had touched the pool table for over 30 minutes, we tried to use it again, and immediately was yelled at by guests. It escalated to a woman physically shoving my boyfriend. She was not kicked out for this. Absolutely unacceptable. This is a rough establishment, and if you are a family type, and not a someone who likes fighting, I would avoid it. read more

Good place to grab a drink and watch a band. They have some good drink prices. The food is mediocre. The only thing I didn't like is when you leave this place you WILL smell like a cigarette. I don't smoke so I can't stand the smell. Other than that it's a great place. They have a couple pool tables and a huge bar. read more

Pretty seedy late at night, but the best bars are! Nice local crowd, excellent service and the food is bar fare, but hot and fast service. Bartenders are awesome and it's generally a fun place for a weekend night outing. Recommended if you're looking for a basic bar, fresh beer and cool people. Smoking is allowed inside. read more

I went pretty early with a friend and the Dj played every top charts hit by Micheal Jackson. Just when I was ready to leave I asked one of the guys there if the music was going to change and he said yea by 930-10 my mouth hit the floor. Dj was playing good dance music. As for food and drinks Thu have this tall beer carafe that holds 96 ounces of beer and it was cheap considering I'm a liquor drinker. Personally dont think this place deserves a star. I had the worst experience of my life there.particularly with the bouncers. After removing people who caused a fight, and attempting to have all guests leave..many were waiting to close tabs eith only 2 bartenders working the bar. Bouncers started screaming "everyone needs to fucking close your tab and get the fuck out" and proceeded going around trying to grab drinks out of paying customers hands while they were waiting patiently to close their tab. One man was told to "shut his dicksucker and hurry and get the fuck out" when the man simply tild him he was not done with his drink yet and was waiting in line. All while other bouncers continuously yell at everyone to get the fuck out now. The bouncers were out of line 100%. Absolutely no respect for the customers there. To me it seemed like they wanted to instigate more fights.a particular bouncer had went in the face of 2 women waiting in line and said "i know all of you arent waiting to close tab, so hurry and get the fuck out now." when the woman who was sober told the bouncer to never speak to her like that.and if he wants her out then he better carry her out bc she was doing nothing wrong he laughed at her amd said "haha YOURE TOO HEAVY FOR ALL THAT" i understand this is a bar and things happen.but STAFF should NEVER EVER speak to paying customers in that manner of disrespect. Nor go around trying to grabdribks out of peoples hands. These were NOT the people that started a fight and were simply waiting TO CLOSE THE TAB. I will NEVER step foot in that place again. Id love to speak with the manager.however seeing how they train and handle their empoyees is so poor i will be contacting the owner. As well as every single social review online i can find. Overall.terrible disrespecful and aggressive "security" guards.who seemed to of been intoxicated themselves.
