It's a little pricey, but you can easily share a meal and or have leftovers. Raffertys has the best salad!! My favorite part is the hot bacon, honey mustard dressing. It's their house salad dressing, and definitely worth getting every time. I'm also a big fan of Jackson Hole filet. I order it mid rare with a sweet potato, and usually eat my way around the whole steak. I save the middle to take home. The next morning, I slice it in half, and lightly warm it on the stove with a dollop of butter. I serve it on my homemade biscuits (frozen Grands). Raffertys seasons their steak perfectly, every time. I make it in for lunch or dinner at least once a month. Service is always really good. Everyone seems to enjoy working and I've noticed how the servers help each other out, and put the guest experience first. I like watching them work. read more

Service was terrible. Bartender forgot that I ordered drinks. Had to change seats twice while I was eating, to accommodate someone's seating preferences My food was thrown away when I went to piss. What a disappointment today! Bad service and bad food. I even asked if they were aport on Staff but they said they were not short at all. We checked in and they said the wait was 10-15 minutes. It took an hour! We went up to see why others that came in after us were being seated. Only to find out They forgot us! The girl did not put our name down. We gave an easy name, jack! Then the manager said he would get us a booth but he never came back. So we waited even longer. We had to ask the lady two more times as she kept seating other parties who arrived later. (And FYI They do not take reservations) We finally got seated and got our order in but it took another hour to get our three salads and a hamburger. And we had to ask for the server for our silverware My chicken finger salad was a disappointment. This is their signature salad. I always order this one. It had a few end pieces of the chicken tenders. No meaty middle parts. Just dried up end pieces. Dreadful. Ordered take-out chicken salads with fresh fruit and an order of nachos. The nacho order was closed up in a plastic container, and every chip was limp in less the under ten minutes to get it home. Completely nasty and inedible. The chicken salads were okay, but had a rather odd flavor, however, the fruit that was with them was a hot mess. This looked like the prep cook had never seen a cantaloupe or honeydew melon before. Almost every randomly-sized piece included some of the hard inner rind layer that even someone with minimal instruction would know not to serve. Then there were a few random pieces of something hard that looked and felt like pea gravel. Fortunately I didn't bite down hard enough to break a tooth. Sorry, Rafferty's. In town for a visit. We found a great seat at a high top in the bar. They also had a real nice outdoor patio which was fully shed. Being Saturday, the bar was packed with college football fans which added to the fun ambiance. Our server helped us out with "happy hour" ordering and we enjoyed a huge plate of loaded cheese fries. It was very tasty and so big, we didn't have enough appetite to order a main course. This is definitely a place we're going to visit on all our return trips! read more

Just a "nice" update though, they have drastically decreased the size of the soup bowl that they give to you with the "soup and salad" it used to definitely be a bowl, but now I'd barely say it's a cup. Had lunch here midweek. It wasn't too busy. We got a table right away. Our server was great. He kept on top of the drinks. Checked on us a few times. The food we ordered was tasty. Came out hot and the ingredients looked fresh. The offer a daily special throughout the week for a good price. There is also bar seating and a garage door that they open when the weather is good. If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a side salad, burger and fries. When I say I had to wait for our waiter to come back to ask him to send my salad out first was my first disappointment im not kidding. Then when It finally got here our food followed right behind. On top of that my salad was covered in a sweet honey sauce so I couldn't even eat it. My burger was so dry and unseasoned, it was terrible. First time at this location and we accidentally entered through a side door by the bar. The main entrance, we thought was for take-out, it seemed a little off, that's why we got confused, but now we know. We waited til 1:30 on Friday so that we wouldn't be in the middle of lunch rush. Glad we did too, nobody likes to wait when they're hungry! The best part of our meal IMO was the salad. Their house dressing is a honey mustard hot bacon. And the side salad comes with chopped eggs and bacon. It's served w/honey butter croissant and reminds me of California Dreaming's house salad and pastry. Delicious! So good that I didn't get a pic. But my steak was cooked a perfect medium. My husband and I ordered the same steak but he had his with Cajun butter and I had bleu cheese butter. We had to switch butters because mine was w/fries and his, asparagus. Not really a big deal. Our server never let my glass go empty and checked on us a few times. She was awesome. Overall, I highly recommend this place. So why not 5 stars? My husband's steak was a little more done than mine. And the butter switch(even though not a big deal) made it not perfect. read more

Had a lovely dinner out at Rafferty's. It's not upscale, but the ambience is friendly. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. It was just me and the big bear. Had a delicious sirloin steak that was cooked a perfect medium. Paired with broccoli and salad, the meal was more than I could eat, and I had to take half of it home. The unsweetened iced tea was on par. I really have no significant complaints other than the broccoli could've been a little better seasoned The rolls are amazing. Dripping with honey, they are light and fluffy like croissants. I had to have one. And it's all I could handle. Very generous portions here. And the prices were not bad at all. I highly recommend going if you want a nice dinner out with your spouse or partner. The restaurant also has a nice and clean environment. There is a bar, but we did not have any drinks. And they have TVs for entertainment. We definitely will be back on occasion. read more

My first time coming here and was extremely pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere first off. Second the staff was very friendly and efficient from the moment we walked in until we left. We were seating right away, which was a surprised because it was a Friday night and the parking lot was full. Once at the table one waitress put our drink order in and brought us water before our actual dedicated waiter made it to us. Our waiter was Zach and he couldn't have been better! Helpful with menu recommendations, timely with drink refills (strong Markers and Coke!) and just very polite. The food was very good and good sized portions. First time trying Rafferty's. I was traveling and was tired. Picked up take out which I called in to eat back at a hotel. I ordered grilled mahi mahi with steamed broccoli. An order of fried mushrooms and an apple walnut dessert with ice cream. I' don't typically get take out from full service restaurants. So O was a bit reluctant on how it would be. Everything was awesome. I was impressed with every single item. The fried mushrooms were lightly battened and cooked perfectly. The fish and broccoli were very good as well. So was the dessert. This is a place we go once a year on our way to Florida from Illinois and they have a fillet here that they marinate whiskey, which is to die for and they have gigantic sweet potatoes that look like they ate Cincinnati and they have which is marinated and bourbon, which is what my wife had and she had the biggest asparagus you've ever seen in your life they have giant salads which come with the mealand we had this apple thing apple crunch thing for dessert, which was outstanding so for me this is an easy five star read more
