The experience from start to finish was nothing short of a disaster. Quoted a one week job to repair by 4 runner from a minor crash on passenger side. Day 6 I check in after not hearing from them, get end of day call back that car had much more damage than anticipated and more parts had to be ordered. Again no communication about this until I called them. After a few weeks and more lack of communication I went by the shop only to have been gaslit by Tamara the woman handling my vehicle she then threatened to call the police on me for pushing back on her absurd timelines and delays. At that stage the owner Bobby stepped in to help facilitate a smoother process. Parts were ordered and job continued and took roughly 3 weeks. I had to press them every step of way to pick up after 3 weeks. Upon driving I noticed car had a pull to the right so I checked in to ensure an alignment was done. Sure enough no alignment, so they schedule and alignment along with some other clear protectant stickers that were left off the work that was completed. During the alignment they noticed several other parts that needed to be replaced suspension related. Keep in mind I was driving over the pass twice daily in a car not fit for driving. Upon replacing those parts I had come to town from Victor to pick up my car (Friday at 5pm) but lo and behold a few other parts were discovered to be faulty and needed replacement. Forcing me to get a last minute rental car memorial weekend. In total 30 days to complete the work. All this time paying for rental cars as max is $40 a day reimbursed but that's impossible to find in Jackson so I was covering anywhere from $30-60 a day. Overall I'm out over $500 on rental cars and they had me driving around in a dangerous car for a week with no remorse, no consideration for the delays and continued run around. Unresponsive, unprofessional, untrustworthy unhelpful. Didn't finish our car. Sent us out in a car that wasn't finished to drive over to pass daily. Still making weird noises after weeks of being in their horrific shop. We now have to take it to another body shop to finish the work he did not. My hatchback does not open in cold weather. Unable to make an appointment I dropped by yesterday and was greeted with a friendly reception from both the office gal and AJ, the mechanic. He dropped what he was doing an came right out to my car to investigate and try the initial fix: spraying lubricant into the mechanism. He said to call if that doesn't resolve the issue permanently, assuring me that their guys would take the panel off and do what's necessary. I arrived in Jackson on a camping / mountain biking vacation and while backing up my camper I jack knifed it causing serious damage. Eric , Shean and the secretary were all so great, super friendly and super accommodating They handled the insurance claim in a quick and efficient manner. I was provided with a great courtesy truck which I was able to hang my bike rack on. SAVING MY VACATION. Best of all I brought my truck on a Friday and got it back professionally repaired by Tuesday. Short story. We had a car accident at Yellowstone NP, and the car was towed to Jackson. That night, I checked online for all body shops . Mike's got my attention, more than 40 year family owned business ...we dropped our car next morning and met Eric, the manager. He is nice and professional. This body shop is great. Unfortunately, our 2 week old Toyota Rav4 was sideswiped by an RV in Grand Teton National Park while parked. Eric and staff did a wonderful job, returning the vehicle to brand new condition. About 4 months later our other car suffered a hit and run while parked on the street in Jackson. Eric did another great job, repairing the damage to like new condition. Both times he provided wonderful customer service and completed the work quickly. Wow these guys are amazing. I skidded out in an icy driveway and hit my girlfriends dads truck on the side of a house. Eric took amazing care of me and was incredibly nice. They worked with me in my tight time frame and got the truck to what I consider 95% for a very reasonable rate and quickly. I've used Mike's Body Shop for probably 20+ years. They have always done an excellent job on my vehicles. Mike and his manager always treated me with respect and their prices were very fair. One time I needed some touchup paint and went in--they gave me a little bottle of it with a applicator brush! When I needed a loaner car, they fixed me up. I took my vehicle to Mikes for a quote. The damage was minor. The quote came back around 1500. I approved the repairs. 2 weeks later I received a call from Mike telling me his "poor estimator" made a mistake in the estimate. It now became clear that in two weeks, They hadn't even gotten around to ordering the parts! Mike then told me that the new estimate would be 6700. 1500 to 6700. After having my car for 2 weeks.
