He claims he misquoted because he did not know it had to go below the frost line , 36in deep . He has tried to add money every week to the job. I did not bring the right equipment to remove roots .. I need 4000 more , I dug the hole for the slab 30 deep so now we need to build a wall 3 blocks hire .. I need $ 8000 more .. Now that we have the slab in the right location .. as per the original plans he wants more money to buy concrete . For a month I have had concrete, wood, trash and debris all of the place. Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good.
