I think the wait was probably around 30/45 minutes to get the car serviced. The service is in drive-through layout. While waiting, Conner, one of the technicians completed a safety inspection which was nice. My tires were also filled with air. Connor also recommended a few additional services like tire rotation and differential fluid replacement. I added those services as well. Abe, Nestor, and a few other technicians then performed all the services. They kept me informed as they finished each service which was also appreciated. They currently have a 20% off coupon on Yelp, so definitely take advantage to get multiple services done at once. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and will be returning for future services. The team was very friendly and I appreciated them taking the time to explain things to me in more detail.

Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed it on my "new tires," which made no sense since there were no issues before I arrived. They only offered me a $35 discount, which didn't come close to covering the damage they caused. Because of this, I had to go out of my way to replace the tire, which cost me $80 plus additional time and inconvenience. What's even more frustrating is that THEY took a picture of the damage themselves, which I'll be uploading. So there's clear evidence of what happened. Overall, I feel like this situation was handled poorly. If your employees damage a customer's property, there should be accountability not excuses and partial discounts that don't fix the problem. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

I read the reviews about them upselling their services and was a bit hesitant but the positive ones about their fast and great customer service won me over so I decided to give it a try. There was no wait on a Sunday mid afternoon, and I literally just sat in my car for less than 10 minutes and I was done. My total was $103 (oil change and they topped my coolant for an additional $6). I know I probably would've saved about $40 going to Jiffy Lube with a coupon but I really liked the convenience of not needing to leave my car. I was helped by London and Alex and the service I received from them was exceptional. I was offered a few other services for additional charge and the pricing weren't bad - but it was over 90 degrees today and all I really wanted to do was be able to get my oil changed quickly so I could turn my air conditioner back on. I received a list of recommendations on a few part replacements so I probably would go back soon to get it done. Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Hacienda Heights is a 10/10.

My older mother bless her heart tried to figure out how to pull out of the building at a weird angle and into the next lane took literally five minutes but nobody else was in line and the woman motioning us in was shaking her head in disapproval which is very misleading and confusing since you are supposed to be using hand signals to SAFELY guide us in. You continued to shake your head in disapproval for the entire scenario while still motioning to pull the car in. Is she doing it right or is she not? Id appreciate clarity without the attitude thanks. A little respect for a woman who used her day off to come to this location she thought was a friendly establishment. You continued to shake your head in disapproval even after she parked inside the building as you walked away. You literally left my old mom frowning she didn't like that experience which should have been a slam dunk for all of you. Id recommend checking your customer service attitude and learn some patience. The sheer rudeness was blatant and I wont be sitting in the car watching you disrespect my mother ever again.

Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. It's nice to see you can get quotes at the touch of a button on your phone. This morning, I had time off, so I headed in to get my service done. I did not have an appointment and that did not seem to matter. I arrived first thing in the morning at 8 AM and ask if the service could be done. Harry was an exceptional young man, he took me in with no problems, no questions. He said they could do it this morning. I told him I would have to wait. He had no problem with that either. Prior to bring in the car in this morning, as I said, I used a yelp project and had several people reach out and give me quotes. After looking at all the yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try. I am super happy that I did. This place is a hidden gem, excellence, service, quality, and value for what you receive. There are not very many shops where you could feel comfortable and put your trust in them. As I spent time in the lobby, I was able to see customer service on the phone and customer service entering the facility. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

I typically go the Americas Tire across the street since I purchased my tires there. Unfortunately, they were closed on Sunday. The staff here were friendly and polite and the place was actually really clean. They assisted me promptly since they just open and I was the first customer. They found a nail closer to the side of the tire and was unable to do the repair. I told them I may have to just fill it up and take it to America Tires the next day since it may be under warranty still. They did not pressure me, completely understood and help me fill my tire a little more just so it will have time to carry me to the next day without a complete flat. Much appreciated the extra step. On top of that, they didn't charge me since they said no works were done. That was awesome and I really appreciate it.
