Horrible experience! Would give 0 stars if that was an option. The company showed up an hour early to pick up time and deflated the water slide while kids were still using it! They kinked the hose to stop water flow while kids were still playing on it! Highly inappropriate and negligent in every aspect of the word. Would never use this company or recommend to anyone. Look elsewhere! Plenty of alternative options. They could have deliberately caused injury to the children in attendance. They caused a commotion while the children were still using the slide and ruined a joyous occasion with their unprofessionalism! . We rented an inflatable and a pretzel machine for a party on a Saturday. When we went to fill the pretzel machine, we found that most of the pretzels we were given had mold on them. My husband ran out to get new pretzels, but when we loaded them in, the machine didn't work. In all fairness, we were refunded the cost of the pretzel machine, but this was only part of our negative experience. For the Saturday party, the inflatable was brought to our house on Friday. We asked for a delivery window, but didn't receive one. We were told they'd call us 30 minutes before delivery. That didn't happen. We were also told that the inflatable would be picked up on Saturday evening. We were later told (upon calling about the pretzel machine) that it might be collected on Sunday. Nobody showed up either day to collect it. We left a message asking when it would be collected, and never received a response. Someone finally came on Tuesday to collect it. Didn't knock on our front door, didn't ring the doorbell, just went into our backyard. Thank goodness we didn't have the dogs out when they arrived! All in all, this thing sat in my backyard for 4 whole days, when it was only supposed to be there for one. read more

Terrible company with no pride in customer service, just look at all their negative reviews on yelp, Facebook, definitely not by accident. I was assured of a "late pick up" since my party did not start until 4pm. When they came to deliver the first thing the driver said was "my boss wants you to know we are picking this slide up at 7", he was rude and unwilling to help. After calling the office, the gentleman on the phone was of no help and would not budge, so the driver took off and my kids and their friends are without a slide for their block party. Buyer be ware, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your event. read more

Rented a bouncy house for our daughters bday party last summer and they were lovely to work with, on time for set up and take down and let us keep it an extra day (Sunday) at no charge as no one else had booked it. House was awesome and kids had a blast! Definitely was the highlight of the party. Would highly recommend Working with them - they have great stuff for rent to make a party more fun. read more

I had my daughter's HS grad party in my back yard for approx 70+ people. I ordered from LI Party Guys the table, chairs, a 27in Tropical water slide, cotton candy machine and a slushi maker. They came the night before and set up everything but the chairs and tables which they organized so I could do it the following morning. They took the time to explain how to operate everything before they left. The directions were clear and helpful. The party was a great success. The next day in the afternoon they came and picked it all up and no trace there was a party. Based on my experience I would use them over and over for any party I would throw. What I ordered was exactly what I received. The people setting up were professional and knew how to explain how to operate everything ordered. So helpful! This company really communicates well! I was planning a block party and Rachel was so helpful with going over all of my questions (I had MANY!). It's always difficult when you are planning something for a block party because you have to consider people and kids of all ages and I am booking items on behalf of all of the families on our block. Rachel was so helpful with walking me through options for slides and Randy also checked in with me to make sure that we were set up with everything we needed. The slides were REALLY NICE and very impressive! The team that came to do the setup and breakdown were SO NICE and so professional. I will definitely use this company again! The bounce house was fun but it is still sitting on our lawn two days after it was supposed to have been picked up. We call and call and get no satisfaction. We would move it to the driveway but it weighs a ton. It's ruining the lawn and the memories of the kids jumping and playing are fading as my concern about getting this thing out of here grows. Keep Searching. I called 5 months before my event to get prices of all that I needed and was told call back in 3 months to book, which I did. The week of my event I was called and told by the owner the machine I order is not working and " If I want it I can come down and fix it myself" with disbelief and loss words, I couldn't believe the owner himself would be speaking to me in this manner. Used this company twice. First time, really no complaints. Rental items are old, but what can you do when you need a tent, table & chairs for a big party . Second time, tent & chairs were very dirty . They tried to hose off the tent which was OK. Chairs, that was another problem. They left them dirty . I had to go outside with a Mr Clean magic eraser and clean off the 80 chairs - not too difficult but why am I cleaning them?? Called the company, nice girl , said the "driver" manager would call me back . 3 months later, no calls .... I booked a rental for chairs tables and tent today from.L.I. party guys in shirley. I have used them last year for a graduation party. They were wonderful last year. I am booked again for august this year I called them.because i know they are reliable and prompt. The woman on the phone is helpful and very nice. I felt very comfortable talking to her and asking questions. I like the pay cash on artival because i dont have to worry about anything going wrong on a credit card. Just used the Party Guys for our wedding, and all I can say is THANK YOU!!! So thorough, friendly, fun, accommodating, courteous, and, in spite of all that, insanely affordable. We used them for our tents, tables, chairs, linens, Porto-Potty, and lights, and everything was clean and sturdy. They even came back to fortify the tents amidst really strong winds, and cleaned up the day after our wedding without leaving a trace. Rented a bouncy house and cotton candy machine from them and the bouncy house was a dirty mess and the cotton candy machine was also gross. The machine was missing the temperature knob and burnt the cotton candy every time. When i called i got the run around and was never called back from the owner. Rent somewhere else! read more

All I can say is- spend the extra money ANYWHERE ELSE! This company is such a nightmare to deal with esp the 'boss'.. I had a party booked for weeks n 10 days b4 my party I got a condescending phone call from Theresa about a permit, i found out what I had to do n returned the phone call to an even ruder Theresa.. Had it not been graduation weekend I would have just gotten another tent from another company but none were available, who btw do the permits themselves- to make matters worse they put the tents up n had to come back to redo it cause it was 'the worst job he's ever seen' said the fire marshal, when I called to tell them again I got met with a very rude man n the fire marshal took over the phone call! Love L.i party guys ! Came on time before birthday party , set up was great , cotton candy heat setting was pre fixed , which is great because we don't know what heat setting will work! I had ordered my own floss sugar because your only given a choice of one flavor,worked out perfect! Dj system so much fun and so cheap to rent... Dunk tank was also great , seat wasn't metal so kids were safe.. Chairs and table set up nicely and was clean! Best of all had everything till Monday when rented on Saturday! Fun bbq on Sunday ! I have had two events using long island party guys and both events I have had great experience with both the office staff and the crew that came to set up and take down. The office staff was very helpful answering all my questions and concerns. The call a few days in advance of delivery was very helpful in planning my days leading up to my party. The items were delivered on time and as expected. The delivery men were very polite and accommodating. I had a lot of compliments on the bouncers, water slides along with the tent and tables from my guest. It made my family events a great experience for me. I want to thank all the staff involved in making both of my events successful. I will be using Long Island Party guys again in the future. read more

Very unprofessional and unorganized. Did not schedule a time for pick up. Came in the middle of the party and just started taking down their rentals asking kids to get off without talking to the owner before entering the property. Showed up asking for cash when it was not mentioned at the time of reservation (credit card info was taken) that cash would be needed at the time of set up. Would not recommend. read more
