Hired them again. Mike again came out within 24 hours, provided me an estimate, and within a week, he showed up with a 4 man crew. They cut and shaped my maple tree, crab apple tree, red maple, and magnolia tree. When I asked re an overgrown buckthorn tree, he cut it for free and removed my dead brush for free, upon request. Mike's crew is wonderful, and so is Mike. I paid $750 (the quoted price) and I have to say that if you need any tree cut professionally (meaning, Mike knows how to cut a tree; they don't just cut, they professionally make choices re what helps the tree grow well, and how to keep it off the gutters and roof in the future), this is your company. I was pleased with the estimate and booked an appt. the crew arrived on time and was extremely fast and courteous. They explained everything they were doing and asked specifics on what we needed trimmed. After the job was done, they cleaned up 100% of the job. I've had Mike's service do routine over the years and have always been happy with the outcome. This past week's windstorm caused a 20+ foot willow tree behind my yard to fall and perilously rest on the surrounding power lines. This could have caused an extended power outage for my entire neighborhood, not to mention residual damage from the complete fall of the tree on the surrounding structures. the neighbors tree fell in our yard and even though they were having phone issues themselves they received my voicemail and called right back . when my neighbor was calling them they managed to call her while she was leaving a message , now that's fast prompt service! Even with the bad today once Comcast said they would not repair our lines until the tree was removed Mike got over here as fast as he possibly could to get the big part of the tree out of our yard and will finish Monday. Wow, Mike and his crew did a GREAT job! We hired them to remove one dead tree and trim a bunch of others. He told us one of the trees to be trimmed had Dutch Elm Disease, so they ended up cutting that one down too. Mike sure knows trees. They were all so careful not to damage our and our neighbor's property getting the long limbs and branches out of our yard, it's a real tight fit for their tractor thing.
