I'm very impressed by the hardworking teachers and hardworking staff. My first impression of the school was the welcoming greeting of the schools administrator/ secretary Mrs Fitzgerald. She answered all my questions and made me feel that this was the right decision for my children's education. I like it so much that I volunteer two days of the week in my daughter classroom. My husband and I feel just as strongly about our children religious education as we do about their academic education. We feel SFR meets both these high standards most assuredly. My niece attends Royal Oak middle school. This is her first year and it's been nothing but a…read morehorrible experience. They allow bullying at this school. Her dad has talked to the school, principal, counselors and teachers with absolutely no help. They know who the problem kids are and they do nothing about it. Her dad even went to the school district for help. They told him, go back and speak to the school because they know the student. My niece is autistic and was put in a regular class, expected to fend for herself. The year started with bullying, now they torment her and the school and the district sit in their offices with their arms crossed and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Special needs children are covered under the disability act. They have the right to attend school like the other kids. I guess the only way to solve this is to take legal action and get the media involved. Maybe then they will go into damage control!

Right at the entrance, there's a clear sign reminding you to turn off your phone. When I arrived, about eight people were already ahead of me waiting to check in, and a few more came after, but the two employees at the front were efficient and processed everyone quickly. After check-in, an exam proctor does an additional verification before guiding you to your seat. A few helpful notes: * Personal items are stored in a locker room. Phones must be sealed in a plastic bag, which staff will only open once you've completed your exam. * Plenty of free parking is available. * Bathroom keys are kept in a container near the exam rooms. * Easy access from the freeway. Ms. Ana is very responsive through WeChat; she provides us peace of mind when we have any questions regarding our kids. Ms Shiela was excellent in introducing both my daughters to writing/math/reading at the beginning of the year. She was able to identify different needs for each of my daughters and created a plan for us to follow at home to reinforce what was being taught at school. The time I had with Ms Shiela in the teacher parent meetings showed me that she really cared about her students and treated them as if they were her own.
