The ones that have less flavor are horchata and possibly watermelon. Point being, it's a little flavor-dependent. It would have been better if they filled the cup with each flavor on the left and right side (rather than on the top and bottom) as that would have been more convenient to scoop both flavors to eat at once. Came here over the weekend to enjoy the warm weather. The line was long but it moved pretty quickly considering they only had 1 person inside working the counter and taking orders. It's nice to know they accept cards but we had cash on hand just in case. We decided on the mango ice and raspberry - passion fruit. We came here for some quick Italian ice. The staff is great here and they have a lot of flavors to choose from. The prices are fair and their Italian ice taste great. We got lemonade, pineapple/coconut, and strawberry/lemonade. They were all delicious. The only thing I would have preferred is for when you ask for two flavors for them to put them in vertically so you have both flavors evenly spread. Such a cute little spot when you're craving something cold during the summer but want something a little lighter than ice cream. All sizes have the option of getting two flavors, so I got watermelon and coconut (both delicious, but coconut a little bit more so!) and my husband got orange and lime. The orange was described to us as a dairy free creamsicle, and it was amazing!!!!!! Lemon - less sweet but still refreshing. Great with the tajin that they provide off to the side. Watermelon - very refreshing, surprises no one that it also pairs great with the Tajin Coconut - subtle flavor that doesn't come through immediately, but pairs well with cream-based flavors and fruity flavors alike Miko's is a classic. This is a place that caters towards everyone - families, couples, people that get snacky on walks etc. When I want an iced sweet treat but I'm not quite ready for the heaviness that ice cream can bring, I'll be back at Miko's. read more

Seemed a little odd relative to other slushees or freezes to not have the flavors side by side. That said, I do believe they are using real fruit to make the flavor. I didn't care for the mango, passion fruit was good a sour. I tried the coconut from my sister and it was pleasantly delicious. I'm reducing stars because of the flavor, the ice is really really small which was a bizarre texture and the price was pretty steep. $4 for the small which is the size of a tiny styrofoam cup you used to get free coffee out of, if you can remember. Also no bike racks close by, but the service was quick and they all were wearing masks, antibacterial was available and they have a great proximity to Palmer square. read more

I tried the coconut and pomegranate, but didn't particularly care for either so ended up going combo-style with raspberry and lemon. Definitely get the raspberry! This shop wasn't crowded on the lousy weather day I visited it on. I sampled a sour cherry flavored ice. This isn't like a New Orleans snoball or Hawaiian shaved ice that required preparation; they just scooped it right out. The sour cherry flavor had noticeable cherry fragments, but the taste didn't really give me that clash of sour on sweet that I craved for some reason. It might have been more interesting to get a combination, which I didn't do, and I do imagine it being quite refreshing during a Chicago summer (it gets hot in Chicago eventually, right?). read more
