I got the watermelon snow cone. The ice was prefaced and then super finely shaved. Topped with flavored boba and jellies. Overall really, really good but quite sweet. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is price and location. It's in navy pier, so tourist central that try to avoid and it was $9 for a bit of a small serving. Will get again if I'm the area

It was super good! It was a difficult find but!!!!! When we ordered we got exactly what we wanted, the dragon cereal was so so good and was also super cool! The server was very kind and gave us our food quickly. It was all clean and was a fun experience! I definitely recommend!!!!

This was a family favorite when it was in Evanston (so sad that it closed!), so we had to check it out when we were being tourists. Flavors are limited and toppings are minimal but it was still really fun to eat. The 3.5% convince charge for credit card use is not clearly noted anywhere, which was a bit of a turnoff.

Snow Dragon Shavery is a fun spot. Especially now that we have hot summer days and warm summer nights. On our visit, we brought my friend's niece and she was so excited by the colors and all the goodies. She loved her ice cream and cotton candy. I loved the macaron cookies. I thought the store was kept really clean and organized. It's bright and colorful. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very patient with our little one who had a tough time making decisions on which sweet treats she wanted. Overall, it was fun to try. I think tourists and locals will enjoy a little bit of shavery too!

Came to Navy Pier to ride the Ferris wheel. Since they shut it down for a while due to the strong winds, we decided to walk around the inside part. We saw couple of girls in the garden drinking these boba drinks. Asked where they got it and they told us to go to the food court on the bottom floor. We came over and there was a long line with a huge menu of goodies. I ordered Taro bubble tea and my husband got Coconut bubble tea. As the guy was making it, the lady that owns it, came to help him as the crowd got bigger. Unfortunately, she added more syrup in my drink after he had already put the syrup. When I told her that my drink had double the sweetness in it, she was very receptive and made me a new drink. Accidents happen but I'm glad that she didn't have any issues making me a new drink. Both our drinks were delicious! It was the perfect drink when sitting in the garden while it's too windy outside. There were many things on the menu that looked delicious! Unfortunately, I can't consume that much sugar.

Passionfruit Tea with boba. Not real tea, more of an artificially flavored smoothie with boba.

We stopped here while visiting the Navy Pier since I saw they had boba. I ordered the passionfruit tea with boba and my sister ordered the mango shaved ice. The shaved ice was pretty good. Tasty but not too sweet. The boba however, was disappointing. They prepare the items in front of you, so I saw them pour some type of kool-aid looking powder into the blender. I then realized all their teas are artificial flavoring and so they taste very sweet and not like the actual tea at all. I even tasted some of the powder as I drank it- it was a bit granulated. Overall, this place seems okay if you go with their other items. I definitely would not recommend the boba though.

I got a mango bubble tea with tapioca and lychee jelly. Flavor is good but the boba was terrible. Boba is meant to melt in your mouth and this bobas was just meh. I gave it three stars because they are clean fast and did a great job amid the long line!

Refreshing treat after a bike ride downtown. I ordered a macaron ice cream sandwich. I got mint chocolate chip ice cream but was not able to pick macaron colors/flavors I wanted (I'm not sure if those carry any flavor or if it's just the inside). Let's just say it wasn't that picturesque. I wish the ice cream was also smoothed out around the edges like in the pictures. It was huge, which was good. I ended up eating it separately as macaron and ice cream. My cousin ordered a taro boba. She seems to like it. We also ordered 3 macarons: fruity pebbles, American cheesecake, and cotton candy. She loves the macarons here because they're pretty and unique flavors that taste good. I had the fruity pebbles. It really tasted like fruity pebbles! I would go back.

Coconut shaved ice cream with mango popping bubbles, jellies and condensed milk toppings. (Big enough for two!)

Great stop for shaved ice cream dishes or macaron ice cream sandwiches! (The boba/bubble teas authentic type so skip those) Two items were $14 but they were large enough that we should have gotten one and shared.. they're too big for just one person. The coconut shaved ice comes with mango popping boba, fruit jellies and condensed milk toppings. Macaron ice cream sandwiches are mix and match... we ordered Superman ice cream in between birthday cake macaroons. (Ask for a spoon because you can't get your mouth around it) It's a fun stop on the pier on a warm day....conveniently located near the water taxis

Blueberry cheesecake macaron ice cream sandwich

This place is okay. The staff was nice, and the line was surprisingly short. My girlfriend ordered a passion fruit bubble tea and was happy enough with it. I ordered a Blueberry Cheesecake Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich ($7). The ice cream was really good, with big chunks of cheesecake. The macaron shell was perhaps a bit under or too chewy in my opinion-mostly chew with no initial crack. The problem is in the construction. If you look at all their social media photos, it's clearly a sliced/shaped slab of ice cream. That wasn't the case- it was a rounded scoop. A rounded scoop + two flat, fragile cookies= a mess. The cookies broke apart because the moment you bite into it, the cookie bends around the curve. Delicious? Yes. Happy-go-lucky food for walking around Navy Pier? Not at all. It's good for an instagram photo, and it even tastes pretty good. But if you expect to eat it without making a sticky, crumbled mess- well, maybe your experience will go better than mine did.

If your coming here for boba save your money and walk over to te'amo instead. Probably worst boba I've ever had, sad to say.

Got the mango smoothie and it was terrible! The flavors were disgustingly artificial and the tapioca was the worst I've ever had.

The banana milk lattes were VERY banana flavored, but still good! It was pricey but enough for 2 people to share. Metered parking on a weekend evening was easy. My only complaint is that it had a strange, unpleasant smell inside (we were there in the evening during the weekend of April 25th). Also, when I came a few years ago, it had a really cozy, welcoming vibe packed with comfy couches. Now, it just looks like basic tables and plastic chairs, lacking comfort, character, and charm. I'm hoping to return to try the sweet potato latte and the other shaved ices, but I hope they do something about the smell and make the space feel more cozy and inviting.

It's pretty small inside, there are only a few tables. A server comes to your table to place your order, which I feel like never happens at ice cream shops anymore! The menu is huge! There were multiple sections to banana splits, sundaes, and shakes. We decided to go with something simple. My son ordered 2 scoops of cookies n cream ice cream (with sprinkles of course) and I got moose tracks! The ice cream is the real deal. Our server was super sweet, and we were in and out of there in probably 30-45 minutes. We had the best time and will definitely be back this summer.

It's a small restaurant but we managed to snag a cozy table near the back. We'd already spent most of the day eating, so we decided to share the Atomic Fudge Sundae. It's a fairly enormous concoction. I found it interesting that the hot fudge was served on the side, but it's actually pretty smart because you get control how much (or how little) sauce you get. The ice cream is the highlight. It's creamy and rich, and it's got a really nice flavor, too. The hot fudge was less impressive, but that might be because I had already eaten a Ghirardelli sundae earlier in the day and their hot fudge just can't be beat. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was kitschy and fun. It's a cool place.

The staff for the most part have been very warm and friendly. She recommended a Bolognese Danish, a Dubai pistachio brownie, and I added an everything bagel and took it all to go. The Danish was by far my favorite. The pastry was flaky, heavenly, and the filling rich and meaty. This is a pastry worth crossing town for. The brownie was fine, but maybe I'm over the Dubai chocolate trend. It didn't really come together as a unified dessert for me. I wanted the brownie to be richer, fudgier, maybe even a bit sweeter. I would probably get something else next time. The everything bagel was a good texture, but the fennel seeds in the seasoning took me so far away from the classic "everything." They overpowered the other flavors, but the texture was fantastic. Overall, I enjoyed the treats I got, would go back to try some other options. I would probably give this 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up. Also want to add how much I miss Hot Chocolate!
