I have hEDS (Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility type) and as she had prior experience with this condition, was able to advise me on what size, placement, and aftercare would be possible and expected. In addition to this her eye for detail is impeccable. In prior consultations (which I recommend for anyone undertaking this process--something Dr. KKW advises on doing as well) I was condescended to for having conducted my own research and for bringing my husband along for such a huge procedure and decision making process, but not with Dr. KKW. She was attentive, enthusiastic, understanding and came prepared with similar references for my body and genetic condition. I could not have had a better experience. From her office staff, the care coordinator Shayna, to the nurses and anesthesiologist who took care of me on the day of surgery, everyone was friendly, accommodating, informative, and thorough. If I ever have to revise my results years down the line (an unlikely event given her level of care and work) I will absolutely seek her out again. I honestly would love to include my before and afters but would probably have my review taken down, so take my word for it, my results are natural and every bit what I wanted.

Well, I was driving to my appointment and got a call only about 30 minutes prior to my appt. time. My phone went to voicemail and the voicemail left said my appt was canceled bc the "girl that was scheduled to do my lashes had a family emergency." I was already on my way there so I decided to go anyway just in case. The woman there didn't know anything about this family emergency, but she did see my appt on the books with Cyarra. Since then, this Cyarra hasn't contacted me to reschedule. I have called twice and left a text on the Meraki Spa text line with no response. This is just unacceptable.

It first involved grafting bone to her jaw to hold the implants in place; a couple months later the implants were surgically inserted into her jaw. Bryan Mclelland performed the surgery. His nurse and assistants are pretty incredible as they assisted during the surgery. The implants fit perfectly and everything went great! My personal experience was equally as good. My dentist referred me to Bryan because it looked like I had a small crack in one of my teeth. He thought it should be pulled. After looking at the Xray Bryan suggested we watch it for six to twelve months and then determine if it needed to be pulled. It's refreshing to hear that I could just wait and see what happens, I might never need to have it pulled. I felt like Bryan really cares about his patients, its not all about the money! Dr. McLelland was the third oral surgeon I had gone to after meeting 2 doctors in CDA who I just wasn't feeling: I liked the doctor but not the front office and vice versa. With Liberty Oral Surgery, I loved both. Let's start with Dr. McLelland. In a word: fantastic! He has such a great bedside manner and inspired confidence that put me at ease instantly. I was extremely apprehensive about having a tooth pulled and an implant installed but he put all my fears to rest. He listened to my concerns and clearly explained my care plan. He's also just a super nice guy who takes pride in what he does. The day of my both surgeries, I was greeted by his fabulous staff who were efficient and friendly and put me at ease: Briget, Denise, Megan, & Katie. Dr. McLelland explained my post-op instructions for successful results and they have been! He also called after each surgery to check on me. Who even does that anymore?! At my follow-up appointments, I had the pleasure of meeting Cliff & Staci, who both went out of their way to put me at ease about my progress. His front office is also awesome. Terri, the Finance Manager, was approachable and walked me through a cost breakdown. She clearly explained where my benefits would apply and was timely in terms of submitting my claim. Dr. Johnson is unique because he takes the time to listen to my concerns and goals as opposed to some of my experiences with physicians that rush you in and rush you out. My procedures with Dr. Johnson and staff have included Dysport, co2 laser, fillers in my hands and face and laser treatments for brown spots. I also live in Scottsdale, AZ. Unfortunately, I've had a few horrible experiences with Dysport that was incorrectly injected. I have one crazy eyebrow that raises a lot higher than the other (Spock eyebrow). Dr. Johnson always corrects this and my results are perfect.

After my second visit, I quickly noticed that "bruising" look didn't go away. It appeared to be the Tyndal effect. I called the office several times wanting it fixed or to have the filler removed. They refused and argued I was incorrect. They insisted after seeing pictures that it was discoloration from bruising. After several months, it didn't go away. I went to another plastic surgeon who said I was indeed correct, and it was placed too shallow causing Tyndale. He removed all filler with hyaluronidase and all discoloration went away. The service was not good, unsure if Dr or staff, but should have tried to make their customer happy (especially considering I turned out to be correct and placement was wrong).

I am blessed to be one of those woman with lots and lots of dark brown hair in lots of places. As…read moreannoying as that is in general, the worst part was that no skin prep or elite razor brand or after-shave that I tried would consistently prevent in-grown hairs and rashes, especially on my legs. My brutally honest brother even told me once that he thought it would look better if I just let my hair grow out. Soooo embarrassing...especially in summer when all my friends confidently displayed their perfect golden tans. One day my angel mama told me she wanted to gift me a hair removal package and that I should do some research and go for it. I had been recommended to Venia for general face/acne care by an in-the-know friend, and so I felt comfortable going with them, since Dr Stafford is a true medical doctor and the facility utilizes medical-grade equipment. I decided to do face, underarm and lower legs treatment. I had to shave my chin 2 or 3 times a day, no kidding, if I didn't want a shadow, my underarms same story, and I already shared about my legs. Shelly is the saint that administers this incredibly painful but effective treatment, and I couldn't be more pleased with her service! She communicated well about everything and kindly would ask how I was doing during the treatment and adjust as necessary to what I could handle. She also gave me moisturizer or ice or whatever I needed after the treatment. She is so friendly and we had lots of fun, even deep, talks during the treatment, which really helped keep my mind off of the pain. The results? Well after 7 treatments, my legs are smooth with no rashes and I only have to shave a couple spots on my legs like once a week. I just had the 8th treatment today and I'm hopeful that it is fully gone now! I had equally good results with my underarms after 8 treatments! After 8 treatments, my chin and upper lip are virtually hairless - the only hairs that come in are so light and fine I can't even see them unless I put my face right up to the mirror. And that means something because I am young and have 20/20 vision. ;) Thank you, Venia!! And thank you, Shelly!!! You've changed the way I see myself and I'm reminded every day that I don't have to reach for my razor and wonder if it would look better to go hippie than to flaunt the red razor burn.
