I've been here a few times and they always try to talk me out of dip. Acrylic paint always chips for me so that's why I ask for dip, but they, for whatever reason, don't want to do dip. Dip paint, for me, is much stronger than acrylic and never chips, so that's why I like it. Anyways, getting back to my most recent appointment, they cut my nails shorter than what I asked and don't add any nail tips. I did get a chrome color added so I know that's an extra $10. I was out of there in less than an hour. The next day, two of my nails chip. I tried emailing but never heard back. Just frustrated that they charged me for a fill even though it wasn't that. According to their menu and the services I received, it should have been $25, maybe $35 with the added chrome color.

Unfortunately, there was a lot of acrylic, what I would call overflow, so I had chunks of acrylic left underneath my natural nail and around the edges. The gel polish she put on top was very heavy-handed and pooled both on the sides and at the cuticle area that is now peeling up and catches dirt. The technician was new to the salon, but claimed to have extensive experience in an elite area of Houston. First it began with me choosing the color swatch from their selection. Then she's drilling off my previous dip product and keeps burning through my nail bed and I finally jumped from the pain and pulled my hand away and I said you're burning through my nail beds. Next she chops my left hand nails down to the skin right after and then they're gone! Next, 3/10 of the tips she fitted were clearly too small for my naturals and since I was doing coffins I pointed to the exposed edges and said are you going to be able to blend this, it isn't the right size. She snapped back with I'M NOT FINISHED YET. I said I know you're not finished yet I'm asking if you're going to be able to blend the corners with too small of a tip. Again, I'M NOT FINISHED YET. Next she pulls the color N70 and starts dipping my nails and right away I noticed this is nothing like the color I chose. I said um wait wait. This isn't anything like what you have up there that I picked. "It just looks different cause those are old and it just doesn't have the glitter." I told her no, it's not just the glitter it's a completely different shade. I pulled up the photo I took of the swatch and showed her and I said see how this is a ballerina ivory/ pink- it's nothing like it. She said "the color looks good on your hand." I said but it isn't what I asked for. She continued to dip my nails in this old lady boring grey/ muted mauve and didn't apologize or anything. So now I'm walking around with nails that I absolutely hate with exposed naturals that are catching everything and are an uneven mess! I told her it's a good thing these aren't for my wedding. Lastly, when I got up to wash my hands I come back in five seconds and she took my phone, my open handbag, and my Stanley and moved it into a pile on a random table and already had another client in my chair.
