I'm giving this two stars because if it's dead they'll do a decent job. But if you make an appointment and someone else walks in the door before you they'll prioritize that person over your appointment. There is no loyalty either if you're a repeat customer, which I was. However after 3 times of me having scheduled appointments and being blown off to wait 20-25 minutes I'm done. Each time I went for a French manicure I got someone different. The last person was flinging nail polish remover literally all over me and my purse and had I not moved the bottle, he would have dumped it on me. When he was done, my nails were thick and uneven and the nail beds had a burning sensation for a full day. The following week I went elsewhere to get my manicure fixed before a vacation. They removed the mess, carefully (and politely) asked if it was the "first time" the person had done solar nails and they were very careful with my nail beds which clearly had oval burn marks that were growing out from previous manicures here. It took them 30-40 minutes and a lot of soaking to get all of the thick solar nail residue. Could I have returned to get it fixed? Not really. It was before Thanksgiving which cut into their "3-day" return policy and who would fix it? The same guy who flicked nail polish remover all over me and damaged my nail beds? The person before him that did my nails was already no longer employed there. In fact this was the fourth person to do my nails because I was told after asking for appointments that the previous three people (over a 6-month period) no longer worked there. To make matters worse, when I went to pay the price kept increasing. I was always a generous tipper, I didn't complain, I wasn't demanding. At some point enough is enough. When he was carelessly flinging nail polish remover everywhere he kept laughing and so did an elderly woman who kept speaking with him periodically in another language. I should have just left, I know. I saw it through to the end and left with plans to never return. I wasn't going to write a review but was urged by my family to do so when they saw my ruined shirt and how much my nail beds hurt after the manicure from hell. read more

Wow! This was the worst pedicure I've ever had; hands down. I could have done a better job myself. I had to ask that my toenails be cut done, yet they are still too long. The cuticles were not trimmed and the massage was limp and the lotion was watered down. Sadly, I think this comes down to one employee. Another seemingly diligent employee was doing my pedicure until someone walked in needing their nails done. Apparently the one person who couldn't do them was assigned to finish my pedicure instead. I was never asked if I needed a beverage and when my "pedicure" was complete, she simply walked off. I waited and finally put my sandals back on myself. I won't be back. read more

I had one of the best manicure experiences ever in Lakeway today. I showed up to this salon for the first time today with a week-old acryllic set that was already chipping off, two broken nails, one of them only hanging by a thread. It was immensely painful. Trang was amazing, efficient and saved my nails, to put it simply. She made sure to repair the broken ones, while causing no pain at all- she did the impossible. Not only that, she executed the design I had chosen flawlessly, paying close attention to detail. To top it all off, the manicure was very reasonably priced. The man who did my nails cut three of my fingers so bad that they drew blood and he blamed it on the drill heads being new. I also had asked him for acrylic French tips with a pink flower on my ring fingers. The base color he used for the French tip was translucent so you could see the nail tip that he glued on. This wouldn't have been an issue except that the white line he painted on the top wasn't covering the tip underneath so you could see where he glued it. I asked him to make the line a bit thicker and he said that if he did that, he wouldn't do the flower on my ring fingers because there would be "too much going on" on my finger. Not his place to make that decision in my opinion. I was hoping that since my nails didn't look the way I wanted them to because he refused to do the flower and the 3 bleeding cuts on my fingers, he might give me a discount but that did not happen. read more

This is a very very wonderful nail salon I definitely recommend it some ladies a very sweet here I cannot imagine how these ladies work so hard but they do that is what I truly admire. I also enjoy the beautiful pedicure and nails that I had received here very well done. The one thing that sticks out here is the fact that the nail Polish shoes are very abundant in there are colors that I don't see in many spas but I found here I really truly enjoyed finding the right shade because they're so beautiful all of them also for my toes especially I used the gel nails which is a high gloss nails that is perminent and I love it you don't have to worry about coming back regularly it's permanently and but yet you have to go within 2 weeks or maybe later. So sad to write this. I have been coming for 6 years. I am not a big spender, regular pedicure, regular manicure (clear polish). My last visit will be my last. I made an appointment for both mani/pedi at 1:30. I showed up and waitied 25 minutes. I got an outstanding pedicure from Andy. They were getting busy with appointments and not enough people working so I volunteered to return the next day for a manicure. I asked the lady 4 times to cut and make my natural nails shorter and rounded. I even drew with my finger what I meant by rounded. It was clear she was not willing to do it. I finally (after 12 minutes) said I would finish it at home. One hand had not even been filed, but it was a waste of my time. I told the owner I would finish at home and she offered to round my nails - but I was over it. She asked me to pay at the counter. Susie (I believe is the lady who couldn't round nails) told me it would be $20. That is what a completed manicure costs there...mine was far from complete. I said I wouldn't pay 20...she said ten. I put ten dollars on the counter and she THREW the money back at me??? It was insane. I am truly an easy customer. I have never had anything like this happen. If you care about customer service - do NOT go to this establishment. read more

This was my regular nail place pre-Covid. I haven't had my nails done since Feb due to the pandemic. I finally felt ok enough so I called and asked if there were precautions in place- Melissa said yes- masks, few people, distance and plexiglass at the mani stations. I arrived on time and they told me they were -0-15 min behind. I said ok but I couldn't stay past that. They didn't take me for 30 min. Then she had them do both feet and hands to rush to get me out in time. This pisses me off for multiple reasons: 1. I was really looking forward to being pampered after all this time. 2. The mani girl was right in my face since she was doing them at the pedi chair. No plexi glass, 6 feet etc.. 3. Two people being worked on had their masks off and no one said anything. 4. My nails look like crap. I won't be back, I wish I would have just left when it took 30 min to take me in. They need to call when they are running behind- I had an appointment and they had my phone number. Such a waste of time, money and risk. read more

Honestly, since moving to the Lakeway/Bee Cave area I've found that some of the best nail salons I've found have been hidden within strip malls exactly like this one. I was excited because this salon is directly next to the closest Randall's to the rental home my husband and I moved into when we moved to the area from Los Angeles in Falconhead West. Unfortunately, this is NOT one of those hidden gems. I found the gel colors I wanted (though the gel went by another name at this location, not exactly sure why), but I was told my nails were too short for the color (at least I believe that's what the answer was to the clue to what the very weird game of charades the manicurist and I played during my time there), and he picked another color for me since I have had very bad experiences with acrylic nails, as my nails are already flimsy to begin with due to a blood disorder. Anyway, I left with poorly done nails, a color I didn't want though I was told it would look almost the same as the original one I had picked (not even REMOTELY close) and a rash on my legs from whatever lotion they use for pedicures. Or maybe it was the length of time my legs waited in the water. Oh, and because of the flimsiness of my nails I always get gels so my color won't chip within the first hour. In this case, though I hated the color, I did pay for it, my nails were done, and i at least wanted painted nails for the duration of time I was used to... but alas, the paint chipped within a day. The gel wasn't even done correctly. All around horrible experience. I'll go the other way on 71 and stick to the actual hole in the wall gem I found by the HEB past the Hill Country Galleria. What's an extra 10 minutes for... well... respect? Your money? What you ask for? No rashes or pain? I'd say a lot. read more

Melissa the new owner was so nice and she did a great job on my brow and lash tint. I will definitely go back! Kudos! read more
