The nail tech the appointment was scheduled with didn't show up, respond to text messages, or calls. Should've been the only red flag we needed to leave. However, it was my daughter's birthday and she really wanted to get her nails done. When they were finished, she sat in the car crying because they looked so bad. I went back inside and asked them to remove them, and please refund our money because they did not look like what she asked for. I was told they could not refund my money. The tech then attempted to reshape them, which was still an epic failure. He actually complained about the fact that I asked him to remove them because she was not satisfied and that he had to take her appointment because the other tech didn't show up. I ended up taking my daughter to another nail salon so that they could remove them. I made an appointment a week before the appointment date to make sure there was time in case something happened. My appointment was the 17th, it was my birthday nail appointment. Came in at 10 with my mom which was our scheduled appointment time. I used to have amazing experiences there, went there three or four times before this. This was the opposite of amazing, it was quite awful actually. The original nail tech who I used to always go to, didn't even show up or try to communicate to me that she couldn't make it. So I sat there almost more than half an hour waiting for my nail tech who didn't answer text messages, phone calls, etc. My mom was getting a basic gel manicure, it turned out beautiful and just what she wanted. I ended up being taken up by a guy who complained that he had to do my nails because the nail tech I SCHEDULED didn't show up. I was so disappointed because the first picture is what I asked for, red cat eye and an almond shape. When I was told that they couldn't do the red cat eye, I said that's okay let's look at other colors. Did that, and asked for a green looking cat eye he came back with a hot pink glitter nail polish and put it on my finger and asked if I liked it, I said that's really pink and shook my head no. He didn't listen and insisted that I kept that color. I walked out of there with my mom looking at my nails almost in tears because they looked awful and nothing like I requested. When the guy applied the black acrylic it was so liquidy that it spread onto my skin and stuck my skin to the acrylic so when he was filing the nails he ended up filing my cuticles. He seemed like he was rushing the entire time because he didn't want to take me as a client. My mom had to walk in for me because I felt like I was being a bother for asking to get my nails soaked off. She went in and asked for them to be removed and to get a refund. They told her no to both of those and then got defensive when we said the nails were not worth the money. I walked in and felt pressured by the nail tech to keep my nails on, he just reshaped them, only for it to be worse than they were when he was first finished. I ended up going to unik nails, they did fabulous job on them. Unfortunately the customer service was so rude and poor they will no longer be having my business. I'm a hairstylist and if I ever had a client come in after I did their hair and say they didn't like it I would be mortified if they felt like they couldn't tell me and they left with a bad service. Their first response should've been okay I'll make a time today to get your service requested. Unfortunately, this was an awful experience. I do not recommend this business. read more

I normally love this place. Anna particularly does a great manicure and pedicure, both Anna's who work there. A few weeks ago I went in for a regular manicure and a young man who works there proceeded to file off the top of my nails with an electric file. It took off at least a third of the top coat of my natural nail. He was busy working on something else in the shop at the time. But now I get to live with six months of broken and splitting nails because they are so thin until they grow out. So this place has lost my business. I do not wish to get gel nails; I do not wish to get the stick on nails. This was very unnecessary in my opinion. read more

I'm from Houston and usually only go to one specific salon to get my nails done but didn't have time before driving out here for me and my fiancés engagement party. We looked at a few places on yelp and decided to try out VIP and was overall very impressed! First, the place was very clean which is super important to me. My fiancé got a basic manicure and they used clean/packaged tools and the salon itself was clean and tidy. Next, they attended to us quickly. We did walk in right when they opened at 9:30 and were checked in/sat instantly. My nail tech was very friendly and we chatted throughout my service. One thing I thought was a bit odd was one nail tech was helping another lady then stopped to do my fiancés manicure then when back to the original lady to finish her service (?) the place wasn't crowded and they had 4-5 nail techs in there so I would suggest coming early/when they open to avoid a wait. Most importantly, my nails turned out great. I was so nervous trying a new salon especially before my engagement party where my hand will be in many pictures lol. However, my tech gave me exactly what I was looking for!! The only thing was that she didn't use a drill to dig out the dried powder under my nails but I was able to peel most of it off easily so it wasn't *that* big of a deal (just something I'm used to at my original salon haha). Glad i stopped by here vs somewhere else and will be coming back by if I'm ever in the area and need my nails done again!! read more

Too k an extremely long time to fo nails and the results were less than good. Had a nail tip placed on thumb nail and its tilted way to the side. Going to grey my nails redone ASAP. I did really like this salon, i've been here for a pedicure before and it was nice. i went by yesterday and got a gel manicure, and i was a little disappointed with the customer service. my nails turned out great don't get me wrong, but there was definitely a language gap. i had a hard time communicating with my stylist as to what i wanted done on my nails. i had also asked if i could get a drink and the lady brought me water, so i asked if they had anything other than water and she said no. but i had seen other clients in there with mimosas. one client spoke to me and told me they had alcohol, so she asked the man at the counter to get me a mimosa...... he brought it out to me and it was just frozen orange juice??? i'm pretty sure they thought i was underage. there wasn't a big selection of colors got regular nail polish so i asked for gel, and still, very little colors to choose from :( read more

They're so bad! They are bumpy and the wrong shape! I asked for thin coffin and got square, my mom and i went and got mani and pedis done for my birthday and it was $244.89 without tip!!! my water for my pedicure was boiling hot so i asked to make it a little cooler and she made it freezing and make a snarky comment! My toes were the wrong color completely, they're like a pale nude/peach color which blends into my pale skin. I got one up from the basic pedicure which was supposed to come with a foot mask and getting the dead skin off, after the pedicure my feet looked dirty and i didn't get the mask. My ring fingers color is completely messed up like she forgot to paint the side of it.. she told me if i had time tomorrow to come back, knowing it was my birthday and that i live 45 minutes away! This first photo is what I requested. I've always had an amazing experience with all of the females in this practice. The new gentleman who did my set was rushing around, making me feel like I was the reason the nails came out bad. "Please watch the tv over there, you're helping me too much". I was literally just sitting there and he was ripping my arm and elbow around trying to find the best position for him. I wanted the nude color with matte finish and flowers. I got pink and white. My dip is also bent in, he didn't fill enough with the pink. When I asked him to fix the bend, he told me that my nails were very hard to do and I couldn't hit anything with them because they would break. I paid $80 plus tip because it's the right thing to do. But I need Carrie to know that he is not up to the standard of her salon. read more

Went for a pedicure with gel and manicure with Dip. Pedicure was good, got seated quickly and was helped in a timely manner, got really cute design for the first time and loved it. First dip manicure- normally go for gel but wanted to try something different this time- was nice, same nail tech, some what in a rush so she kinda left my nails stuck to my skin and a lot of gunk under my nails that hardened and I had to scrape out. Left them kinda bulky which isn't really my style, and left one of my nails chipped in the very tip but again it probably because she was rushed. I honestly contemplated writing this review for so long. I have been seeing the same person for my nails for 3 years, but she recently moved forcing me to look elsewhere. I had been to V.I.P. for my previous set and it was great. This experience was the complete opposite. I needed my nails done for a company photo shoot, so they needed to look somewhat decent. That's not what I got and the service was horrific. The man that did my nails kept messing up and getting paint on my hands and his own. After each time, he would fling my hands in anger. None of my nails are similar in shape. I was charged for a full set, not a fill, because my nails were in "bad shape," but I had gotten them done last at this salon. The whole experience was awful. $71 terribly spent as I will have to get them redone. read more

Middle aged male nail tech with a mohawk looking hair style became irate and threatening when I expressed my dissatisfaction with his work. He was aggressively handling my hands and sweating; defensive over my feedback. I finally asked for someone else to finish my nails. He aggressively said, "Ok! That will be one hour!" I told him I could not wait an hour and that I was just going to leave. He said, "No...you have to pay!" I told him I would not pay for the work he did because it was horrible. I would have to go elsewhere to have my nails fixed; I was not going to pay him. He then began taking video of me as I was walking out. Yelling at me that he was calling the police. He was so aggressive that my bf had to step in between us; as he felt I was being threatened by this man. It was unbelievable! The manager finally came and said he was sorry and that I could go. I told him that I should be the one calling the police...that his employee was out of line and threatening. Needless to say...we left. The way this man behaved was unacceptable! I would suggest no one use this mentally unstable nail tech who is incompetent at his job. If I could leave zero stars, I would. read more

Terrible service. Our friends were in town and they had pedi appointments and my 5yo daughter wanted to tag along and get a pedi with her best friend. Her friend saved her the kids pedicure chair so they could sit by each other. I asked if she could sit in the seat and just soak her feet until they could get to her. They said "yes but we're busy." That is the only thing anyone said to me the whole time we were waiting. They never even put water in the bowl for her to soak- they just kept ignoring her. When she and her friend went to pick colors, they ignored her completely and she started crying. I went and picked out a color for her while she had her tiny bare feet resting on the bowl of the chair. I've had several pedicures where I sat and soaked my feet while waiting for them to get to me. She just wanted to be with her friend. I couldn't handle seeing her sad, sitting in the pink kids chair, so I told her to put her shoes on and we left. I'll never return. Just went here today and had a great experience! Came in at 430pm on a Saturday and was able to sit right down. They have several nail techs available. They have multiple types of pedicures ranging from $25 to $80. My husband got a basic pedi and I got a mini deluxe and it was $75. Very clean place and friendly people. The guy that did the pedicure was so terrible that my toe nails were uneven and the shellac was too thin that I think he only did one coat. Went in for a Gel Manicure. I had Gel on my nails from a previous manicure and the technician didn't soak my nails with acetone she just removed the gel with a tool, which stripped my nails and then she tells me my nails are thin.. I wonder why... I have bubbles in the polish and my nails look awful. I was in the salon 1 hour and 30 minutes for a Gel Manicure. I am really dissatisfied in the way my nails look and how the previous Gel was removed. I came to the location based on the wonderful reviews. My experience was probably the worst. (Ann) is the one who did my pedicure i don't know if she is new but she was the only one without a Name tag so i asked her name. Showed up the next morning along with several other patrons about five minutes before opening. At 9:30 we all started going in, to find that there were probably 12-14 customers already getting mani's and pedis done. The woman ahead of me asked the receptionist how long it would be for a pedi and was told it would be 35-40 minutes. Then instead of the receptionist helping me, she walked away. I walked out because my friend and I had appointments at 12:15, we informed the receptionist that we were there for our 12:15 appointment, and were asked to sit down and wait. At 1 o'clock, after four or five walk-in customers had already been served, we finally said, "Hey, we had a 12:15 appointment." In a very few minutes, a young man took my friend to a station and begin working on her nails. But we said, "We had an appointment to be done at the same time at 12:15. The reason we make an appointment is so that we can sit together and visit while we are having our nails done." The young man then said, "five minutes." If I could give this zero stars I would! I went and got my nails and toes done, I came in hour and half before they closed and asked if they would have time they said yes but kinda annoyed like. So I chose a color and they seemed be rushing and hateful. When I got up to put my nails under the light to dry and accidentally bumped my toe I asked her if she can put my finger nail polish on it and told her sorry I didn't mean to she kind of just tossed her purse down and said OK I can kind of seemed annoyed and said something to another girl because they were trying to leave and I didn't notice until I got right outside the door that my nails were so sloppy and I had glue all over my fingers to where my fingers were turning red it was hurting and I asked them if they could take the polish off my fingers and the glue and they told me no they couldn't because they are closed now even though I was right there at the door and it was five minutes till closing and told me I would have to go and come back the next day when I was getting my nails done for the next day I had a concert to go to and I told him that and they said well you can come back tomorrow there's nothing I can do now even though they were all right there inside. read more
