what can I say, but say this place is AMAZING!!! came to get pedicures with my husband as a birthday gift for myself. it's been my second time and husband's first time here. husband had his service done by KELLY and mine by IVY. kelly got my husband's toes looking right and even fixed this dead skin he had on his pinky. ivy gave me the best 8 min massage of my life.. like that deep tissue massage where your toes are curling. I also loved that they didn't pressure for me to get a gel pedicure. we got the deluxe regular pedicure. She took such great care of me, thoroughly cleaning my nails (something another salon completely overlooked) and giving me the best massage I've ever had. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars as I read so many good reviews. Today I went in and got a GelX fill and I'm very disappointed. Originally I came in to try the cat-eye nails out and unfortunately it just didn't work out so I showed her another picture of a "glazed chrome" look and while what I got is still cute... it's just not what I asked for. I think my biggest concern is the shape of my nails. They are not at all what I usually get. They are thick, bulky and just not precise. Like at all. I'm just super bummed. No exaggeration. Let me tell you why... Skillset: she's know for her design abilities. You can tell she's an artist. She is able to not only replicate reference photos but is honest when it comes to expectations by providing suggestions etc... Her skillset ranges from intricate details to simplistic designs and that's what makes her special. Servicing: light, sweet, fun, easy going, low pressure... she's there for you. Nikki's personality adapts to her clients (I know this because I've seen her work with other clients). I can be indecisive but Nikki never makes me feel bad about being a perfectionist. Her attention to detail is 10/10. Overall, I'm so happy I found her. She does both pedis and manis. Tip: You'll have to call to book an appointment because for some reason you can't book an appointment with her online. I don't get my nails done often--maybe every 2 to 3 months, so I treated myself to a deluxe gel manicure and a tropical pedicure with regular polish. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were kind and welcoming. I also appreciated how easy it was to book online. It allows you to choose your preferred nail tech, which is a nice touch. The only downside for me is the $20 upcharge for gel, but from what I've seen, that seems to be standard across most places in Vegas. I won't be coming back here anytime soon don't get me wrong. The staff is nice however, I wasn't even asked what kind of pedicure I wanted when typically I always get some kind of deluxe this time. I was just given the basic with gel, which I never do so that was just kind of rude! Tina didn't even hand me the menu to ask me what I wanted but it was like I wasn't even given that option. Also, when cutting my cuticles like the lady actually did cut my cuticles that my big toe came home bleeding. And sitting down in the pedicure chairs where you rest your feet it's not comfortable. The minute I walked in I was greeted. My amazing nail tech's name is Tina. I've been seeing her for years. She always offers me a beverage to enjoy with my service. She's my go to especially with my ingrown toe nails I get on both sides. Yikes! They hurt so bad, but she knows how to not make them hurt with grace and magic! I love when she does my toes. Normally when I go else where I'm in pain 10/10 walking out. Not with her, she knows how to make sure I'm not in pain. It was my very first time having other people do my nails and I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. The staff was just slouching at the front desk and was rude when I checked out. On top of that, they overcharged me for a simple design. The nails were done in a rush and the quality clearly shows -- uneven shapes, sloppy polish, it was very sticky underneath the Gel X tips and it started lifting after the day I got my nails done.
