This was my first time visiting this nail salon and unfortunately my experience started off on the wrong foot because of the receptionist. Chunky Asian girl, short medium brown hair with glasses. When I walked in, she barely acknowledged me. She said only a few words before immediately going back to looking at her phone. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As a receptionist, your job is to greet customers, be attentive and help create a positive first impression of the business. Instead, I felt like I was interrupting her screen time. First impressions matter, especially for new customers! I came in expecting a friendly and professional environment, but I was met with indifference. Because of this experience alone, I would rather take my business elsewhere where customers are made to feel welcome and appreciated. Very disappointing! read more

I came into Nail Forum today for Mother's Day to treat myself and unfortunately the experience started off poorly. The person at the front desk was not welcoming or inviting at all. I understand places get busy, especially on holidays, but a simple greeting would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left at the front desk waiting for someone to help me while there were about 3 women behind the desk. Then when someone finally acknowledged me, there was no warmth or customer service. What really bothered me was feeling nickel-and-dimed over my fill service. I already came in with oval-shaped nails, yet I was told I'd be charged an extra fee to "reshape" them. In my opinion, basic shaping during a fill should already be included in the service price, especially when maintaining the same shape. Customer service and transparency matter just as much as the nails themselves. Sadly, this visit did not feel welcoming or worth the experience I expected. read more

I walked in requesting a Gel X soak off and a polish change on my toes as I had just gotten a tattoo on my leg and could not use all the scented soaps and scrubs they provide. Immediately I was being pressured to do a full set and full pedicure and I had to decline at least 4 times before they took no for an answer. My polish change was fine, other than the fact I asked her to make the french tip thinner & I fully watched her pretend to make them thinner. The soak off is where things went south, QUICK. This is how I left after paying $78 before tip. My cuticles were extremely sore and the skin under my nails were very cut and scratched from the careless filing. Then, last minute they added a nail repair for $15 to add to my ticket price when none of my nails needed repair. After I only tipped $5, the receptionist and tech were quick to whisper and point. I would never recommend this place to anybody I care about. read more

I normally do my own pedicures but this time i decided to get pampered and taken care of, and EMILY delivered exactly what i wanted ! they offer alcoholic drinks to enjoy with your services! the shop is extremely clean also which i really liked. I got the "Organic spa pedicure" and it was beyond my expectations, on the pedicure package it says 15 minutes massage however Emily gave me a 20 minute massage, including my arms and hands. I love how they included fresh orange slices and sliced cucumber into my pedicure, like where else would you get your feet massaged with oranges ?! Even though I was a walk-in and the salon was super busy, they were able to fit me in right away. My technician, Demi, was very friendly and did a thorough, wonderful job--my toes look amazing! Everyone there was super nice and accommodating, the salon itself was very clean and had a great vibe. And I was offered a complementary beverage (adult and/or soft drink) with my service. Even though they were very busy when I arrived, they helped me right away and had both my manicure and pedicure done at the same time, which I really appreciated because it saved a lot of time. The technicians were friendly, attentive, and my nails turned out nice. My only issue was with the pricing. I was charged an additional $5 fee for nail length, but this was never mentioned to me before the service. When I asked about it, I was told it was because my nails were considered "extra long" but they aren't more than medium length if anything. I don't mind paying additional fees when they're clearly explained upfront, but I think customers should be informed of any extra charges before the service begins. Overall, the service was efficient and the staff worked hard despite being busy, but better communication about pricing would make the experience even better. read more

There was absolutely no remorse, concern, or accountability shown. Instead of trying to make things right or even acknowledging the pain and discomfort I was experiencing, I felt dismissed completely. Very attentive, patient and listens first to all of my ideas, ready to redo the whole design if I don't like something. He works for the quality not quantity. Katie does really great with gel x nails. She takes her time and makes sure they're straight and shaped well. It's really hard to find someone decent for pedicures though. I've had about 10 different people for pedicures and they tend to either not exfoliate / shape the nails correctly, or paint horribly. read more
