This was my first time visiting this nail salon and unfortunately my experience started off on the wrong foot because of the receptionist. Chunky Asian girl, short medium brown hair with glasses. When I walked in, she barely acknowledged me. She said only a few words before immediately going back to looking at her phone. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As a receptionist, your job is to greet customers, be attentive and help create a positive first impression of the business. Instead, I felt like I was interrupting her screen time. First impressions matter, especially for new customers! I came in expecting a friendly and professional environment, but I was met with indifference. I came into Nail Forum today for Mother's Day to treat myself and unfortunately the experience started off poorly. The person at the front desk was not welcoming or inviting at all. I understand places get busy, especially on holidays, but a simple greeting would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left at the front desk waiting for someone to help me while there were about 3 women behind the desk. Then when someone finally acknowledged me, there was no warmth or customer service. What really bothered me was feeling nickel-and-dimed over my fill service. I already came in with oval-shaped nails, yet I was told I'd be charged an extra fee to "reshape" them. In my opinion, basic shaping during a fill should already be included in the service price, especially when maintaining the same shape. Even though they were very busy when I arrived, they helped me right away and had both my manicure and pedicure done at the same time, which I really appreciated because it saved a lot of time. The technicians were friendly, attentive, and my nails turned out nice. My only issue was with the pricing. I was charged an additional $5 fee for nail length, but this was never mentioned to me before the service. When I asked about it, I was told it was because my nails were considered "extra long" but they aren't more than medium length if anything. I don't mind paying additional fees when they're clearly explained upfront, but I think customers should be informed of any extra charges before the service begins. Overall, the service was efficient and the staff worked hard despite being busy, but better communication about pricing would make the experience even better. read more

Several nails felt over-filed and burned during the appointment, and my cuticles were left sore and irritated afterward. The shaping is uneven, and the nails feel uncomfortable instead of smooth and natural. What made the experience even worse was when I went back to address my concerns. There was absolutely no remorse, concern, or accountability shown. Instead of trying to make things right or even acknowledging the pain and discomfort I was experiencing, I felt dismissed completely. Did my nails with Kevin for the 3rd time and it looks amazing as usual. It is very hard to find an artist who does perfect French but Kevin did it for 110% perfect. Very attentive, patient and listens first to all of my ideas, ready to redo the whole design if I don't like something. He works for the quality not quantity. I normally do my own pedicures but this time i decided to get pampered and taken care of, and EMILY delivered exactly what i wanted ! they offer alcoholic drinks to enjoy with your services! the shop is extremely clean also which i really liked. I got the "Organic spa pedicure" and it was beyond my expectations, on the pedicure package it says 15 minutes massage however Emily gave me a 20 minute massage, including my arms and hands. Katie does really great with gel x nails. She takes her time and makes sure they're straight and shaped well. It's really hard to find someone decent for pedicures though. I've had about 10 different people for pedicures and they tend to either not exfoliate / shape the nails correctly, or paint horribly. read more

Came in for an appointment and I asked for regular polish and the pedicure that is only 38 dollars the cheapest one . During my appointment most of the time was spent on them trying to convince me to get gel over and over again ! Then even after I had put it in my notes for my appointment and told them again when they handed me the menu that I wanted the 38 dollar pedicure they had asked me during the appointment if I wanted a different scrub and they made it seem like a favor saying " don't worry about it I'll give you the scrub since you're already here it will be a gift" DONT BELIEVE THAT they charged me for the lavender pedicure that was more expensive and I'm not one to be confrontational and I just accepted the price that was there and left but just so others no and don't feel taken advantage of in the future at least from my experience they are very pushy and will find ways to up charge you my total was 80 dollars and that should show you that I usually don't complain because I still tipped them 10 because they provided a service to me but I should not have ... I really recommend JAZZ nails on marks they never push me to get gel and my total there is always 40 with tip included read more

I'm in from California and I was at the gym across the street and the guy at the gym broke my nail off so it was a clean break. I asked the receptionist if I could get somebody just to glue it back together since it went back perfectly. But there's not one person in this nail salon that is capable of doing that. People came up to the front and they were just making faces at me and it was very rude that the receptionist kept making faces at me. I even asked her why are you making faces at me and they've never heard of anybody gluing a nail back on. So that's why she said they're making faces. I don't understand because all I need to do is use their words and tell me that they don't want to do it that they would prefer to make more on a full set because that's what they were alluding to. I get it. My nail tech in California wins awards and teachers classes and is just amazing and I can't expect people who aren't capable like she is to think outside the box. Edit : I'm adding this because somebody from the salon responded and they said it would not last 24 hours. I'm already back in California and it has lasted since the day I went in there and I went back and did it myself at the hotel. I bought nail glue and a file. And it is still on. I do hair for a living and I have shampooed many people today at my first day back from work. I remember when I went to beauty school and I took the nail portion they teach you how to make a Band-Aid, silk wrap, paper wrap, etc... if there's a broken nail and that's what I was asking for.
