Things that are important to me: I was greeted with a smile and a hello immediately upon entering The techs set me up next to my buddy (we both wanted basic pedicures). My guy was nice. My friends guy Dong was nice. I'm pleased with my toes. I've had better paint jobs, but my guy (didn't get his name) was gentle and kind. The number one important thing to ME is cleanliness. The salon was clean, and most importantly they open the tool packaging right in front of you. This was the MOST important thing to me. It was only $40. I tipped over 20%. I WILL be back! read more

Don't go here unless you're a regular. They aren't good with newbs. I visit the area frequently from out of town so I'm looking for places I can get my services. Today I just wanted a simple manicure with regular polish. It was $30 for an appointment done in about 25 minutes. I sat in the chair at 2:43pm & finished at 3:09pm. After getting my nails done and walking out, I quickly realized I didn't like my nail color. I also noticed my nails were not fully cleaned of cuticle/dry spots & the original paint job & color was done poorly with paint left on my skin etc. Within 5 minutes I walked back in to the salon and asked for a color change. I received an attitude from the reception & when I asked her if they had a specific color I was looking for (OPI big apple red) she said whatever is there. I didn't see it so I picked out a new color, later asking the technician if they had it, and she said not in regular polish but only in Gel. (Very kind & simple response, and aware of the salon inventory of a popular color Big Apple Red & if they had it) Unfortunately though, a poorly done paint job. The polish is thick with bubbles, not fully coated with top coat. I'm not a "skilled technician" & could've done this better myself but I don't have polish with me on my trip. When I walked into Nails Haven, my nails and toenails were hideous and extremely embarrassing! My big toe only had half a toenail. My heals were terrible, my fingernails were half grown out and I had one nail missing altogether. I was a mess. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get "Henry" to fix everything that was wrong. Henry is very meticulous, checking and double checking his work. He made my toe without a nail look like it has a nail. My fingernails on my left hand are the exact same length and shape as my right hand. He even helped me pick out the perfect color. Henry is a sweet and very nice guy. I called and they said they did Gel X. I got to my appt and the receptionist said the color I chose was "gel"... I asked about about gel x and she was clueless as to what that meant. I was already there so I decided typical gel would suffice. I picked out a color and asked if it was gel, she said yes. The nail artist came out and said no that's a "dip powder".... Ok... so I went with another color she chose that was just gel. They didn't dry right- my thumbs were wet- waited 5+ extra min under the led light. Left and got to my car and they were bubbly and rough. Went straight back in. She slathered another top coat over the bubbles and another 5 min under the led light. They're thin and a huge crack on my thumb, very visible in the light. I usually get charged $58 for a gel x fill and she charged me $75 for mediocre (at best) work.) Very disappointed with New Style Nail Spa - felt completely scammed I came in for a hard gel nail fill, and two nails needed repair - work done by a different technician from the same salon just two weeks earlier. During the treatment, no one informed me that there would be an extra $10 charge for each nail repair. Only at checkout was I told the total was $85 - for hard gel fill only, without a full manicure! This felt like a total scam. Zero transparency, unfair service, and taking advantage of a returning customer. I will never go back to New Style Nail Spa, and I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

New style nail spa is conveniently located in the Green Valley Parkway, Smiths shopping center. The salon is big and spacious and has new comfortable massage chairs. Everyone, including front desk, has always been friendly. I've always had great experiences with my mani/pedi. Unfortunately, this last experience fell short. I chose to do a walk-in rather than make reservations with Vivian, who is always excellent with detail. I'm not one to put one on blast, maybe it wasn't their day today, but if you're going to pay $94 for a basic manicure with no nail polish and a basic pedicure, take some pride in making sure the cuticles are taken care of and the nails are filed evenly. I hope Management will look my name up and look up the technician and give this person a little talking to. My personal experience or people who I know have gone to, I recommend Vivian, Anthony, or Jasmine. read more
