Run, don't walk to the Milano's in Sharpsburg! If you want a delicious affordable meal with menu choices to fit a multitude of palates this is the place. First, the establishment has a very bright and welcoming atmosphere, outside the location is spotless, bright white with windows so clean they sparkle. Once you walk in, you're welcomed quickly and seated, surrounded by pictures and decor from Italy and classic Italian restaurant scenes. Floors are spotless, seating is well maintained, and the table linens are very clean. Brianna was our server, and immediately you could tell she enjoyed her job, was extremely attentive to our table, and made sure our drinks were always full, and properly timed our meal to ensure it didn't come out till our appetizers were complete. The moment we sat we were welcomed with some freshly baked delicious rolls and plenty of tangy savory housemade marinara to dunk the warm crispy rolls in. Looking at the menu my eyes were immediately trained on to the Greek combo platter, that was an exceptional crowd pleaser, chicken souvlaki was tender, well spiced and full of flavor, the gyro meat was also delicious complemented well by tzatziki sauce. Meat balls were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, exactly how my mom makes Greek meatballs. Spinach pie bites were again crispy on the outside and deliciously powerful on the inside. There wasn't anything on the plate that wasn't exceptional, and at its price point, was an extremely good value, can't recommend it enough. Salads utilized a great mix, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, complimented with crisp Greek peppers, Kalamata olives, and plenty feta cheese. Entrees really wowed! But at this point we were all getting full, we trudged on, trying to get a few bites of EVERYTHING. Milano's pizza is very well known and appreciated, I can totally understand why. The crust was crispy, covered with delicious high quality cheese and a very palatable sauce. Kids enjoyed it! My entree of chopped sirloin was very delicious, covered with perfectly cooked sautéed onions and served with a side of sauce, not thick goopy gravy like at many other places. Grilled vegetables were delicious! Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of char, And a flavor all of its own! Extremely magnificent! My wife enjoyed the Italian grilled sausage that came with freshly grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms served over a bed of absolutely delicious seasoned rice. Key takeaways from this establishment is that the location is great, the restaurant is clean, the employees are very very helpful, good at their job and the food is absolutely exceptional. We had tried the Milano's location near LaGrange within the last year, and we liked it well enough. It was sort of out of our area, though. We heard that they were opening a location much closer, so we made plans to check it out. This new location is listed as Sharpsburg but is on Hwy 34 between Newnan and Peachtree City. It is located in a strip mall near an elementary school. There is parking around the perimeter of the shops. When you exit, you cannot turn left back onto 34; if you want to head to PTC, you'll need to make a U-turn. We first stopped by about a week after they opened, on a Saturday. It was a complete zoo! Good on them for being popular - I think I heard that they may have operated in this area a decade or so ago, so maybe they still had loyal customers from back then? At any rate, there was a 1-hour wait so we opted to come back in a few weeks. Our 2nd visit was on a Saturday for lunch about 2 months after the opening. This time, they were doing a good business but there were tables available. They have a to-go counter and, I think, a dessert case up front. there are tables along the aisle the runs along the kitchen and then a larger dining room towards the rear. Decorations are all Italian-themed. They have a good variety of menu items, including some extras like gyros, etc. I think we both opted for pasta on our first visit. We also at least split a salad. All the food tasted fresh. The main dishes were good, especially given the lack of Italian places south of Atlanta. Prices were reasonable. We returned a couple of months later for dinner on a weeknight. They were not slammed but were doing a steady business. I think we tried different pasta dishes this time. For dinner, each entre came with a salad. They also have a basket of large square bread rolls. The food was again good, and portions were sizeable. We had plenty of leftovers that we could not finish in one sitting. If you are in the Fayette / Coweta county area and are in the mood for a good Italian meal, this is one of the better choices. read more

Super hot inside. They blamed it on the kitchen but that was on the opposite end and around a corner from us. The lasagna was a mound of mozzarella, a tiny bit of hamburger meat, almost no sauce, not a bit of ricotta and a tiny bit of what looked like Knorr noodles on the very bottom. If you actually enjoy Italian food, stay far from this overpriced place. read more

The place was busy and we waited for 40 minutes to be seated. Honestly, that was fine. It's a small place so the table turnover doesn't allow quick turns. In Italy, dinner is a two hour event. The bread arrived along with a small bowl of red sauce. Neither was terrible, but I've never been served this way in any Italian setting. I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered penne pasta with cream sauce. Her meal wasn't awful, but wasn't great. My lasagna was one big blob of cheese and it was hard to find any discernible pasta. The meat had an odd flavor (there wasn't hardly any) and the sauce was along the outsides and minimal. Literally a cheese blob. I've had frozen lasagna that was better. The portions were fine. The service wasn't bad. The prices were really good. We had high hopes based on what has been spread about this new place nearby. Disappointing for sure. Our friends ordered pizza to go on two separate occasions with one time being good. Unfortunately, it just wasn't good food at this restaurant. read more

Staff is friendly, pizza tastes great. My only issue with my latest visit (8/1/25) was, like other area pizza places, they don't know how to cut a pizza properly. Seems like they close their eyes when cutting and it makes every slice a different size. If you want it cut right, ask for it uncut and do it yourself when you get home if it's carry out. I'm sad that a detail like this loses a star but I believe attention to detail is important and there is no excuse for this laziness. read more

We went for our first visit yesterday. The Greek salad was delicious. However we were extremely disappointed in the Lasagna. It was nothing but cheese with a few pieces of noodle and a tad bit of sauce. We searched throughout the serving and saw no meat. Just cheese. We politely asked our Server to pls let Management know. How can You go to an Italian restaurant and have such bad lasagna? Hopefully they will fix the situation. read more

Have been three times. The first time I had the gyro and it was really good. The next time I tried the meatball sub and it was one of the worst I've ever had. Obviously had been microwaved. The bread was super chewy and the meatballs were very, very hot 20 minutes later. We had a party of 7 and called ahead to make sure we would not have to wait. The table was ready as promised. The waitress had no personality and was very cut and dry. She acted as if she was upset that we had 7 people. When I asked her if the homemade meatballs were really homemade, she just glared at me and said no. So I then replied "so the menu lied?" The food is good, reasonably priced but portions 30-40% smaller than Olive Garden,but Milanos is priced less.I recommend not going on a Fri. or Sat.night because a lot of the seating is too close.You have to be careful getting up not to interfere with people.If cozy, close to other tables doesn't bother you your then ok. The ambiance is nice.When I went back and ordered a Pizza to go I had high hopes would be great but I would say similar to Marcos, would go back for Pizza again.Again food tasty, smaller portions less in price than Olive Garden. I was super excited to try Milanos tonight. Unfortunately, the only thing that tasted good was the salad. We got the mozzarella sticks (which tasted like they were frozen). I got the lasagna which again tasted like it had bee frozen with the cheese already on it. The cheese was so dense it made it almost impossible to swallow. My wife got the fettuccini Alfredo which had no flavor and the veggies in it were definitely the ones you get in the frozen foods section. The restaurant was really nice on the inside and we didn't wait long. Our waitress wasnt very personable and never asked how the food was or inquired why we left with most of the food still on the plate. Pretty disappointing. read more
