Nice traditional pizza with good flavour in the sauce. Thin crust or regular seem en point and thankfully they let you put your own little extras so if you like it plain they don't ruin it with parm or chili flakes. Yay. Inside could use better lighting but it's ok. Outside is my go to sitting but that might depend on the weather. Great for takeout. read more

I convinced myself that I needed a small pizza and a small salad which is not small at all! () so I'd have leftovers! Drinks were icy (important in GA summer). 3 small pizzas=1 All Meat, 1 The California, and 1 Potato. All were yummy, but the 3 of us voted The California as best, it was a rare find of balanced flavors. Well done. When we came this place and one other place were the only ones open so we came on in here. A group of us decided on getting pizza for dinner since some relatives of ours highly recommended this place. We ordered two large pizzas to go. We drove about 20 minutes from Fayetteville and see where this place was at, which was located on the Main Street of Senoia along with other cute small eateries and shops to check out. When we got back about a half hour after picking it up, the pizza was still fresh. There was half pepperoni and half cheese on one pie and I think there was sausage and onions on another. I didn't get to take pictures since it was all snatched up pretty quickly when it was placed on the table. Overall, the pizza was alright. I found it to be just like any other pizza I've had before. The slices were bigger than a normal size and it did the duty after having two of them. If I make it to the area again, I would definitely dine in and try some other things they have to offer. read more

Had a terrible experience here last night "Friday". We went in to dine in and the host told us it would be 30min wait. She said if we ordered take out it would be faster. So we decided to order out. She said she would text us when our order was ready. We walked around, about an hour went by. We decided to go back to restaurant. Our pizza wasn't ready. However she said our mozzarella sticks were ready.... They had been sitting behind the counter. After 10mins my husband asked for the mozzarella sticks. They were cold and not cooked well at all! Another 15mins goes by and they bring us our 2 pizzas. She said "oh sorry we forgot your salad" Same host. So we waited for the salad another 15mins. We left with everything an hour and a half later! The pizzas were gross and cold. SO frustrating!!! We live in senoia and we come here often. My son also goes here often. Such a frustrating experience and waste of money last night! read more

BEST pizza in the area!! We tried this pizza a few years back, and we were so impressed thst we came back 3 times in a week! The crust is perfectly crisp on the edges with that soft chew in the middle! The ingredients are FRESH!! And the customer service is always good! Year in, year out, they have been CONSTANTLY GREAT!! The location is in a really cool old building with beautiful old brick work, albeit a small venue. There are a few innovative pizzas, like the Cuban, which are must try! My family and I come here a good bit and have minimal complaints. The food is always pretty good! The buffalo pizza and supreme pizza are two of my favorites. Sometimes the pizza can be a little greasy, but nothing a napkin dab can't fix. Another favorite of mine is the calzone- so good and enough to have leftovers the next day! Others that I love- Cobb salad and the fried pickles. The Cobb salad can be split or leftovers if you get the large portion! Overall, pretty good place, the customer service could improve. This cute little pizza place is located near the Main Street of Senoia. I came here to grab a bite before my Walking Dead tour began. I was seated pretty quickly but it did take the server a bit of time to head over. I ended up ordering the lunch special; a slice of pizza and a drink for like $5. It was a nice sized slice! Be sure to leave time for your food, especially if you have time constraints; 30 min was barely enough time for me to get my slice and run to my tour around the corner. read more

I have tried Matt's for both lunch and dinner. Both times, the pizza was quite good and the restaurant wasn't packed. My visits were on a weeknight (maybe a Thursday?) and on a Saturday around 11:30 a.m. Parking was easier during the week; I just parked on the main street and walked around the corner. On Saturday, I had to use a dirt/gravel lot diagonally across from Matt's. Also, map software shows Matt's on Main Street, while it is actually around the corner on a side street. It is only about one storefront off Main, though. Just beware if you are just following Google Maps. Service was attentive. They appear to have some sort of salad bar, though I did not make use of it. There was a steady stream of parties (families, tourists in town for film tours, etc.). The pizza tasted fresh; I'm sure we'll be back. Recommended. read more

Do not visit Senoia on a Monday. Walking dead, indeed; nothing is open. Nothing except Matt's Small Town Pizza and a couple of other shops. The Yelp location is incorrect, by the way. No telling when they'll fix it. Matt's is on the north side of Seavy Street, about halfway between Main and Barnes. Country music. Lester loves his dawg. Bubba shot his momma. Mabel-Sue swore to her baby daughter never to drink again, and later that day drove into a bridge trying to avoid crashing into a drunk driver. Two small dining rooms. Not really any good seats for one or two people to sit. Pull the door shut behind you - no one in Senoia has installed hydraulic door closers. Were you raised in a barn? Oh... sorry. I didn't know. Look, I said I'm sorry. How was I to know your deddy died in a barn fire after the cat knocked over a lantern? Why not write a song about it? Oh... Really? Carrie Underwood, you say? It was #1? I don't know about Georgia, but back home Pizza Inn was fairly common until, despite being voted the #1 pizza chain in the US in the early '90s, they began to close most locations as they shifted heavily toward fat-American-style dining. In the mid-80s, Pizza Inn introduced me to taco pizza. I've yet to have one that I like as much. Super-thin crust, ground beef, shredded cheddar and lettuce, tomato. Even salsa way back in the day. The place wasn't very good, but I always returned for taco pizza. Matt's has taco pizza. It's not bad. The crust is too thick, and it falls apart, requiring a knife and fork (which I absolutely hate to use with pizza). They use red onions, which should be chosen only for appropriate recipes. This is not one of them. The grape tomatoes could use some ripening. They bake the pizza with cheese on it, whereas they should instead only sprinkle cheese after it's baked. The jalapeños aren't spicy at all. Otherwise, a good attempt. A slice is about $5 with tax. Given the size and ingredients, it's worth about $2.75. I didn't know this before ordering, but I'm letting you know in case you'd like to negotiate a fair price out of Ruby-Lee or Reba-Mae. I'd be cautious ordering most non-pizza items. All of the appetizers are frozen, mass-produced stuff (or so I was told). They have wings, sandwiches, calzone and pasta dishes, as well. The wings aren't a bad price, but I haven't seen or tried them. They offer a tiny salad bar, but it looked pretty pathetic when I came in late for lunch. Everything was empty or nearly so. Be prepared to listen to a few tourists talking about zombies and a certain AMC soap opera that should've been called "The Undead and The Restless" throughout your meal. And shut the fucking door. Have visited twice. The interior is charming, and it's a great location. The young woman who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. On both visits, however, the servers never smiled - or if they did, it was forced. This area is full of genuinely warm people, not sure why the place has servers that are bordering on surly. Everything on the top of the pizza is right. It looks good, the cheese is good, the outer crust is browned. I think the oven's just not hot enough. The bottom crust is soggy, even with just a topping of cheese. It could also just be not kneading the dough well enough to windowpane point for gluten development, but something's just off. I'd make a point of coming here regularly with friendlier service and a crisper bottom crust. read more

I had this pizza for the first time tonight based on a friend's suggestion and my reaction after bite number two was "meh" The good: They use alot of cheese. I pulled the pepperoni's off and folded it to get a better taste of the crust and it was pretty decent, a bit chewy but ok The not so good: greasy, Greasy, GREASY... I expect pizza to be a bit on the greasy side, but it was so greasy I didn't want a second piece since it was dripping off of the end of my slice when I folded it. So that equaled a soggy crust Being that I had my gallbladder removed I occasionally test the boundaries, but this time I chose not to even attempt a night of less than healthy food.
