Milbrant wines seems to be a staple for the town, centered right on Front street, it's hard to miss. It's definitely not hard to miss when they set up cart and tables so as you're walking by your invited to stop for a tasting. That's actually what happened. A couple glasses of their specialty roses which as with some of their products - a portion of proceeds goes toward the Alzheimers care and support. On a return visit Milbrant was hosting a yelp event with the same great rose and some new pours of their wines. The space milbrant shares with Ryan Patrick which are two large counters managed by staff. There are some seating outside but outside is the most preferable, especially if weather is decent. If enjoying any of the pours, consider getting a bottle to support a good cause particularly the Coeur brut riesling. read more

What a fun place to visit in Leavenworth. It's right in the middle of it all close to the Gazebo. We did some sampling here and learned that Milbrandt just released a Sparkling Riesling with 10% of sales of this wine to benefit the Walk to end Alzheimers. This is a great cause so we bought a bottle to help out. Very friendly staff and a cool wall with greenery and their featured wine is a great spot for selfies. Great to know about this place so we'll make sure to stop by in the future. read more

I cannot believe I havnt reviewed Milbrandt yet! This is such a fun tasting room! I love the green wall. Service was slow and honestly was wanting more of an experience with understanding the wines more. One we tasted was a club only purchase which I think is a little silly. If it's not open to the public to purchase, make it a club only tasting. (Yes, I'm a member of a few wineries) I also didn't love that I couldn't taste the Milbrandt and Ryan side by side to taste the differences. For those reasons, that's why it's a 4/5 But I did love the tasting room. I love the idea of tasting the traditional wines here and going over to Ryan's side. Ryan's is apparently more creative but we ran out of time. I'm sure I'll be back and try to do a side by side tasting. The reds were very good and unique. This is one to smell! You get the forward notes. Then you get the deep ones, finally an overall. It's very fun! I do like how she explained tannins to me, thinking of them as fabric. That's greatly changed my perspective and I'm always looking to learn more about wine. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Milbrandt yet?! Hands down, my favorite winery to stop by whenever in Leavenworth. We literally come by EVERY TIME. Tasting in the age of COVID-19 is obviously not the same, but Milbrandt is doing a damn good job of the new normal. 25% capacity allowed inside and they have a tasting patio setup as well. Everybody is socially distanced and tables are available upon reservation basis but they do accommodate walk-ins when possible. We made a reservation for 3:30 quick and easy at the door. Tables have a plastic cloth that is easy to wipe down after each customer. Paper menus are supplied with the tasting options from both Milbrandt and Ryan Patrick. We haven't had a wine here that we haven't liked. The rosé is such a great summer wine, as is the Reserve Sagemoor Chardonnay. I'm more of a red fan so I definitely love all the reds they have to offer! Phenomenal service is always provided by Lindsey and Suzy. They truly make you feel at home and make an effort to create genuine conversation with everyone in the store. Love love Milbrandt. We have them close to us back home, but the staff at the Leavenworth location always makes the experience next level and top notch. We'll be back again and again with every trip we take to Leavenworth! read more

The wines here are delicious, especially the 2019 cab. It is full bodied, smooth, and everything you would want in a cab. They are offering a sparkling wine that is also delicious, with hints of lemon meringue and apple. +10% of the proceeds go to Alzheimer's research! This wine is drinkable, but also affordable, and we were lucky enough to serve it at our wedding. read more

We loved our visit to Milbrandt last weekend while in Leavenworth... lovely tasting room with nice outdoor patio to sip and people-watch or soak up the rays. The tasting room shares with Ryan Patrick, but we found the servers at Milbrandt much easier to talk to! We came away with 4 bottles of Estate wine -- Merlot, Cab, and Malbec. The wine is top notch but at a much friendlier price point than the wineries in Woodinville or Walla Walla. Every estate wine was $21, and I would put them against other reds twice that price. read more
