Well...it's ok. Not what I expected or hoped for. If you're looking for antique alley that people talk about, it's not there. I was going to do a booth rental. I've changed my mind. No prices on most things. Some look like they just dumped the pick up on a tarp. Lots of stuff. No antique furniture or anything like that, maybe a piece once in a while but pretty beat up. I found a couple of cool things. The farmers market was completely impressive. Fantastic fresh produce!! Some cool shops but just not what I was looking for and not the place to sell nice antiques, crystal, mid century modern-it's a fun place but not the market I had hoped for. BARGAINING AND HAGGLING!! It's a flea market/ swap meet/ open air market and I freaking LOVE THIS PLACE!! Lots of deals to be found as well as tons of food & drink options, live music, vendors galore!! They have a small carnival with lots of rides for kids and adults!! Almost everything under the sun can be found here. But you need to know your prices of things as sometimes they charge higher than the local markets and stores but they love to haggle prices. Everything is negotiable and if they don't budge, move on to the next 30 stalls! The one bad thing is that their food stall vendors rarely clean their tables and counters. Be prepared! I always bring plenty of cash, box of hand wipes, an umbrella for shade, wear comfy shoes and bring a cooler with ice packs and drinks which I rent a shopping cart to carry all my stuff. It used to be a place where people used to sale like a garage sale but not now. Now it's just people saleing the same things over and over, 2 rows of over priced fruit and 2 rows of rides. They have cut the spots in half by adding an event center. Very few are for normal people to sale. read more

Located east of downtown Denver, the Mile High Flea Market is a fun stop as long as you have some patience on the inbound drive. The one-lane streets south and east of the venue get extremely congested, particularly Rosemary and 88th Street, forcing visitors to spend 45-60 minutes traveling the final two miles. Once inside, ample parking is available. A tip is to park to the east of the venue to ease your trip back to your vehicle. Admission is $3 per person. Well attended, lot of families. It's a combination of a farmer's and flea market, and they are scattered throughout, with the food primarily in the middle of the venue. This was a very interesting experience! Very much farmers market meets vintage shop. If you're looking to find something unique, this is a good spot to go. However, I didn't feel like a place for serious shopping. It's more of a window shopping vibe. They are dog friendly, which is very cool. Because the pavement gets very hot you do have this put your in a cart. The cart is n ended especially for the summer months. Carts and such are all available for rent when you get tickets for entry. Overall, the people who work there were friendly but because the place felt a little unorganized. This is the right place to find quirky and antique items though! read more

Was a little disappointed with the flea market. We came late Saturday morning (last week) and was hoping to look for some good treasure. $3/pp on weekends. We walked around the stalls that sold new items and then went towards the real flea market area. I was excited to look through stuff, but most of them were tools. I guess I was looking for an antique, vintage, collectible type of flea market....like what I was used in CA. We kept walking and just exploring the whole area, observing the rides that they have. They were actually open with a staff waiting for riders, but they had an easy Saturday. Nobody was getting on. So the "garage sale" was a pooper, so I got excited about the farmer's market. I love grocery shopping, but that was another disappointment. Everything was overly priced! They were more expensive than the market and Costco! Yes, they're probably organic or home grown, but still it was too much for my liking. We ended up buying nothing and went home. We don't know until we go. read more

I had no idea that on Fridays very few stores are open ( this included all of the food) except The Marketplace Grill) One of the store owners informed me that most stores are closed on Fridays, and the ones that are open are there to restock, and make a little money. Envision an enormous combination yard sale, rummage, and ARC, Goodwill, Salvation Army outlet with a smattering of stores selling cheap T--shirts, chatches, a cornucopia of used tools, used hardware, and some produce in the back, and you have M H F M on a Friday...I No wonder they charge a dollar less on Fridays, they offer free parking and it still.would not be worth a trip. will give it another chance on a Saturday or Sunday, the place is such a vast space I'm really curious to see what I missed. read more

It had been decades since I had visited the Mile High Flea Market, but when a commercial came on the TV and my 3.5 year old asked, "hey, what's that place", I turned to my lovely wife and we both thought, heck - let's go check it out! If you have never been, it is bonkers. Acre after acre of bargains. It's very much like a massive, well organized garage sale. The only heads up is that while you can get a sweet gardening hat for $10 bucks, or a Tupac blanket on the cheap, food and beer there is a different story. Since there is basically a captive audience, food and drink is expensive. Still, very fun. read more

If you're looking to get in some steps this is a great place to do that. I brought my teen kids and my Mom on a Sunday, we had fun looking at everything people were selling. It's a nice place to people watch too. Yes the parking lot gets backed up, yes there is a long line of cars to leave also. It took us about 5 minutes to get in and out though. We purchased produce for reasonable a price, I thought. My son found a Star Wars seller where he bought a few items. We decided to have lunch, we ate at the marketplace grill since they had seating inside. The food was really yummy! I got a chimichanga, the boy got a burger, daughter ordered chicken strips. You've gotta get the corn on the cob though at their location, it's the bomb! This is a wonderful day trip if you don't have anything else going on, and want a day out with the family. We came into town on a Friday and was disappointed with the lack of people out - but it was a little chilly. They didn't charge us to get in so we were able to walk around and look at a few cool things (blankets, plushies, sunglasses, knives). A go to summer activity and a favorite place to shop for affordable local produce and gifts. Plus, a great place to shop for tools, household items, tires, key cutting, plant shopping and more. There are local permanent vendors and flea market vendors too. There is also lots of activities and carnival rides for kids. It's about $6 for two ($3 each) to drive in. I like to park near D Street to H Street on the opposite side of the entrance usually there are local produce vendors near that entrance. If you have a wagon then bring one but if not there are carts for rentals. Tips: bring cash, wear sunscreen and bring a rain jacket during later summer months. Most vendors prefer cash for produce and items. However the Mile High Flea food vendors and some of the permanent vendors take credit cards. I definitely recommend the roasted corn! It's about $6 each now but totally worth it. We love to add all the goodies: Mayo, hot sauce, Parmesan, salt and pepper, cayenne and chili flakes. Never disappoints and always get your own. No need to share! It's so juicy and delicious. If you're on a budget then this is a place to find the deals. Today, we picked up $2 strawberries, $2 blueberries, $7 large Rocky Ford and many more produce items for such affordable prices. This is a great spot to support local and sustainable shopping. We went on a Saturday and a few of the shops were open. Many vendors had their shops set up outside in the back. It seems like most of the food and drink vendors were the same. I wish there were more food vendors. I would come here for the knock knacks you can find and 100% the produce! read more

Congratulations on having higher beer prices (by almost double) than even Elway's steakhouse and higher than even the Denver airport. A turkey leg for over 17 dollars? A baked potato starting at 14 dollars? A beer at Elway's is 8.50. 11-15 dollars at Flea market? I have heard nightmare stories about the woman who runs concessions at MHFM. She doesn't understand her clientele. What a disaster. The pathetic hot dog is 4.50 and the tiny bean burrito is 6.50. Just a terrible business model for a flea market. This place was huge, and they had so much variety of products. In Mexico, we call these flea markets tianguis. Aside from shopping we use it as a social gathering another type of a mall. Right now the social gathering part is difficult but it was nice to just go for a walk and be able to lala gag and try to forget about all this craziness. read more

The best experience for a local flea market, where you are immediately transported to another country. I've been to Mexico several times for family visits and this you to a local mercado. I would say though the food here is not the best, but some of the local food vendors are on point. Such as corn on the cob, micheladas, and kettle corn. The tacos are nothing to brag about and the turkey legs are almost $20 and not the best. We don't come here for the food but definitely for the vendors, the experience, the warm people, the plants, the live music. Sundays is the best day to go, and have some cash for the best prices. Going to the flea market was something I wanted to do for awhile now. I'm very into up-cycling and over all getting a good bargain for something I don't want to pay full price for. There is a large flea market out in Ca called The Berryessa Flea market and this very much reminded me of my trips there. This FM is located out in Commerce city, a very heavy industrial area. Parking on a Sat. Around 11am was very easy for a bigger truck. I'm NOT an early bird shopper (6am-9am) where I try to get the first pick of the day. Parking cost is based on how many people are in your vehicle, on the weekends $3 a person. You then just walk in based on your preference of where you want to start shopping. There are isles with yard sale type sellers and then stalls and booth with new items. I don't mind a good yard sale and picking through. I enjoy more yard sale items. I found a glass cake stand for $10, and a large glass cookie jar for $10. There is large produce section with seasonal produce , food stands for beer, tacos, fries, lemonade , funnel cake ect. There are a few rides and a Ferris wheel that you can buy tickets for. It's a once in while type of place. If you are not comfortable with crowds, not into walking a lot or not a yard sale this of person, you may not enjoy it as much as others who visit. read more

Every booth had the same thing, cheap crap from China. Just save yourself the trouble and order from wish if you want garbage. Yuck. No turkey legs, no funnel cakes, rides were not operational..... I was hoping this was a flea market with furniture, art, collectible. It was not. Just a bunch of junk made in china. It was worth our trip though because we got my son's phone screen repaired for a good deal. All the food places were open, but the lines take forever at every place EXCEPt the kettle corn. Kettle corn was good. Ice cold beer that took 20 minutes to get was good. We got the last lemonade at 4pm on a hot Sunday. Also good, like took 20 minutes as well. All the trashes were full and not one person attending to the garbage. Restroom lines were long for the women, it was crowded and lots of people with their pets on leashes. Not enough food stands/workers and not enough park workers to clean up. Kept getting a whiff of garbage/sewage. I will never go back here. read more

It's been many years since I've been to this flea market but the last time I was there, it was nothing more than a bunch of junk and so I've never returned. I don't personally know if it's gotten any better but based on some of the other reviews, it doesn't appear to have. That aside, I had the misfortune of taking a wrong turn off of Highway 85 this past Sunday and ended up in a long line of cars on 88th that were trying to gain access to this flea market (I wasn't). This is only a guess, but based on the line of cars coming from both directions and the parking lot being almost completely full, I would find it hard to believe that they are actually practicing/enforcing social distancing as they suggest. read more

It is great fun in my opinion. At least for a couple hours. Many vendors have same ole plastic toys and such. You have a ton of tools. Some vendors with bed / bed frames. Pinatas. Knives , stun guns, tasers, fresh veggies, cooked meals that smell delicious with no waiting line. What it is missing - not enough vendors who sell cool big household knick knacks. Wall decor, zero shabby chic stuff. Zero vintage old windows. No tables, console table, old wood stuff I was hoping to find. I went on a Sunday. Entry $3. I feel that is high. Other large cities charge a buck. Cuz your gonna spend money there anyway right? This particular Sunday they had a band. And an annual circus. read more

I will NEVER come here again either as a vendor or as a buyer. My mistake for assuming that quality handmade jewelry would sell here when there are dozens of booths filled with cheap Chinese junk, stolen bikes and scooters and peoples' literal crap that they dragged from their homes to sell, and people are literally trampling over each other to buy garbage. $45 for a lot for the day and sold nothing. If you are an artist or a crafts person, sell elsewhere, this is NOT the venue to sell anything of quality. Items that featured prominently: giant bags of Chinese Tide laundry detergent, cheap fleece blankets with 90s-looking designs on them, old used clothing (every other stall is a "segunda"), mass produced baseball caps, cheap silver- and gold-plate jewelry, nasty concessions served by people of dubious hygienic practices, and mannequins with huge derrières modeling leggings so thin that they are see-through. Some lots were literally strewn with rain-soaked boxes of assorted literal TRASH. I love thrift stores, antique malls, even garage sales, but this was just...ugh... the word "stolen" occurred to me as I walked past several lots. If you sell cheaply-made soccer jerseys, mass-produced religious merchandise, stolen tools/bikes/scooters or produce (the fresh produce was literally the ONLY thing going for this place), then I'm sure you'll make a killing. The cherry on top of this experience was the fact that, 34 minutes after getting in my car, I am STILL sitting in my parking spot. The traffic situation here is a complete joke and needs to be fixed. 0/10 stars, I will not be back. read more

Came to the flea market to check it out. It's a fun experience to come with friends and enjoy eats (buttered/Mexican corn, turkey leg, funnel cake, and the smothered burritos!). Also fun to walk around and look at the wares, but be warned - I think it's all pretty expensive things that you can get for cheaper elsewhere. I love the Mile High Flea Market go on Fridays to have the place pretty much to yourself. The only con is the theme rides are not running that day. Go on Saturday or Sunday and you can be there all day riding rides and checking out everybody's cool things they have for sale. There's a really great Crystal person. There is a person that has all sorts of plants even pink variations and carnivores plants. There's all kinds of fun food and it's only two dollars to get in! MHFM is pretty amazing if you're into that kind of thing. What I love about it is that it offers everything a flea market should but also has vendors that sell antiques and an array of other things. There are rides for kids and carnival food like turkey legs and churros. GO!! It's fun! read more

I came here with the fam during Mother's Day weekend. The weather was beautiful and warm and there was a lot of stuff to see, buy, and eat! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes (you will do tons of walking), bring bottled water, wear sunscreen and a hat, bring plenty of cash, and bring your bargaining skills! We got here late in the morning. I'd suggest to come early and get those good deals right away. My kiddos had a few dollars in their pockets to buy whatever they wanted on their own dime. They learned how bargain and buy on a budget. So it was a learning experience too! Also, the produce part is pretty awesome. I got a box of mangoes for a reasonable price (my mouth is still salivating!). I should have bought another box! There is also an amusement park area with games and rides. You really could make a whole day out of this with the family. My suggestion would be to have a set budget before you start spending money... you could easily spend tons of money if you aren't too careful)! If I was looking for something specific to buy and the weather wasn't too hot or too cold (and no rain) then I'd probably come back with the family. read more
