No prices on most things. Some look like they just dumped the pick up on a tarp. Lots of stuff. No antique furniture or anything like that, maybe a piece once in a while but pretty beat up. I found a couple of cool things. The farmers market was completely impressive. Fantastic fresh produce!! Some cool shops but just not what I was looking for and not the place to sell nice antiques, crystal, mid century modern-it's a fun place but not the market I had hoped for. I love getting a coffee and strolling along the different vendors. Everyone is friendly and happy to be there. Last time I picked up a few items and it would be a fantastic place to shop for home for home decor, vintage clothes. olive oil, gifts and more. I find the value of the items to be fair and the environment to be lovely. Definitely check out this special market and check the website for the days and times of operation.

A vendor told me some figurines I was looking at were $20 a piece. When I showed her the price tag showing them marked as $15 for the set of 3, she pulled the tag off in front of me and repeated that they were $20 each. As a former dealer myself, this was completely inappropriate and I was shocked and dismayed. This will be my last year coming to this market.

I had been looking for the perfect mid century mod dresser for a long time, and decided to swing by to see if they had anything that matched...and low and behold found exactly what I wanted as soon as I walked in! I would have walked away with a lot more (there are 2 shops across the street from one another), but you know...budget. The customer service was great! The woman at the front went above and beyond to make sure I got this, even after I had to run home to re-measure (ended up buying a much longer dresser than anticipated). The delivery price was very affordable (compared to other vintage shops I've been to), and my dresser was delivered that night. Took 15 minutes. A+ selection. A+ pricing. A+ customer service. I will 100% be back!

It seems like one of those great neighbourhoods that has remained mostly untouched (uncorrupted). My favourite store in The Highlands is Wordshop. I haven't had a chance to hangout there as much as I would like to but each time I stop by Wordshop I check out a new shop like Ruby Jane, a super cool clothing store, that I resisted the urge to buy anything on this trip. (Trying to pack which means no more things but just for the moment.) The streets are original and therefore quite narrow so be sure to slow down and be courteous. Also, parking is a bit of a bear if you can I would Uber over to avoid the hassle. Go. Spend some money. Keep The Highlands thriving!
