The part of a deal with a roofing contractor who subcontracted the work to a gutter contractor was cancelled after the gutter sub wasted my time going over the work in some detail, then did not show up when the roof was done, and then rescheduled his show-up date twice. Two men finally showed up at three in the afternoon and were standing out in front trying to figure out what they were supposed to do. I decided then that I did not want them on my house. I took the time to get four bids from the most highly rated contractors I could find. Mile High Seamless Gutter, Inc was not originally on the list until a gutter manufacturer in Iowa recommended them. They had the best technical, not the lowest, proposal and took the time to fully answer all of my questions. I wanted to go back with the same gutter configuration that was originally on the house. Mile High recommended a change that would provide better drainage from the long runs on the sides of the house. This is a definate improvement to insure that water will not stand in the gutters.The work was done sooner than I was told their schedule would allow. The three-man crew showed up right on time after I was given a scheduled date for the work. It was immediately clear that they knew what they were supposed to do on this particular house. They proceeded with a great deal of skill and energy. Mile High Seamless Gutters three man team (Kyle, Wayne and Dylan) arrived 2 weeks after I signed the contract, which was the amount of time indicated by the contractor. I had 6" aluminum eggshell colored horizontal gutters and 3"x4" downspouts with hinged "tip-up" extensions to the grass installed. The team arrived within the specified time window and completed the installation in 2 hours, working efficiently non-stop the entire time. Each team member had an assigned part of the job to do. There was a team leader with 8 years experience in this type of work that kept the job on track while doing work himself. A level was used to obtain the correct drain-slope of the gutters and to ensure the downspouts were vertical. All workers were courteous and answered my questions. I was so pleased with Ken Schultz who handled my gutter and downspout replacement job. He was a pleasure to work with and was very thorough when he came out to estimate the job also had some great ideas to improve my current downspout set up. He also came out with the install crew and oversaw at least part of the job making sure the gutters had good slope, that the downspouts were installed better than originally done, that the second story water was diverted away from the wall and the overall workmanship showed craftsmanship. The crew made a mistake on the layout of one of the down spouts after he left, but all it took was a simple text with a photo to Ken and the error was corrected the next business day. We had the gutters replaced early this year due to hail damage from 2019. They did a spectacular job. The crew was very respectful, and kind. We replaced all gutters and added some to a bay in the back of or house. It instantly increased to value and curb appeal to our home. We are very thankful! I even ordered the guys lunch, because why not. They deserved it! When they got to our bay in front of our home, there was a section that looked a little weird.
