I was also surprised they didn't vacuum before cleaning. Every other carpet cleaner we've used has done a thorough vacuum first, especially important with two large dogs in the house. Instead, they cleaned over the pet hair, which left wet clumps pushed up against the baseboards and scattered throughout the carpet. While the technicians was extremely nice and polite, the overall quality just didn't meet expectations. We'll likely look for a different company next time we have the carpets cleaned.
